How to clean dirty Aquarium Python Water Changer tubing

Fun tip. If you store the python in the dark you won’t get any of that algae.

I'll have to give it a try. It's in the utility room, and no natural light gets in there... I hang it on a hose hanger against the wall, next to utility sink. I always walk back the water, too, by raising the tubing above my head, and working it back to the sink.

The key to success is to keep it in pitch darkness. I walk the water out then put the whole thing into a five gallon bucket. Cover the bucket with something don’t seal it (I use a dark towel). Then place it into a closet. No light gets to it. Looks like your hose is extra long so you may need a big bucket. Hope it works for you.
