you prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf lately xD
As i no longer ride now i'm 74 but spent 50 years riding my own horses and i now really miss it it was fantastic to watch you video it may me feel as though i was riding, thank you so much for your video
After a lifetime of riding & training, I'm no longer able to ride either. So I live vicariously through other riders. This would have been such fun! :)
Galloping a racehorse is the best feeling ever 🥰 I can’t wait to give my ex racer (who wasn’t fast enough bless her) to the gallops for a good proper blast
This is amazing to see, Laragh tried so hard🥰 I’ve just got an ex racer from Newmarket and would absolutely love to take her for a gallop to see what she can do, she loves it🐎✨
I’m from Newmarket and I got permission a few years back to ride my little 12.2 little welsh pony on the gallops. Was so much fun, but we had a lot of surprised looks lol 😂
I love when she’s like “I can’t pull up! Lura I thought you were tired!” 😂😂😂 thats such a horse thing to do. Girl you’re tired I can hear the struggle! Slow down. 😂😂
I’ve been wondering for the longest how speedy Laragh would fare against a thoroughbred! She didn’t win but she was determined!! This looked like so much fun and what a cool place to get a chance to ride at.
for speed, a coldblood like laragh could never match even a too-slow tbred. the cold/warmblood has too high knee action for pace.. the grey looked to be doing only just 3/4 pace n laragh is still too fat..."very interesting breathing" from her, btw...a concern?
I love Laragh how she is like I will catch him then she is like maybe I won’t catch him but this is fun and I am loving that you are getting to experience all these new things with Laragh but it looked really fun
Oh what a brilliant vlog Lucy!!💖 It was so great to see Laragh really open up and fly like the wind, she wasn't that far behind though, she did really great, as did you for managing to finally stop her!😂 It just shows how fit you really have got her for your event season hun. Great job, loved it!😘
@@footluceeventing what do you think about some people saying jumping a horse is immoral and wrong and not natural im hearing this now plus bits being bad x ive never heard this until recently x
Oh so wonderful!!! It's been over 30 years since I've ridden and this brings me back to my barrel racing days. I miss that power and propulsion and feeling my horse know exactly what she was doing. They are magnificent and noble animals. She wants to run her snorting, ears pricked and pulling on the rein.. love it!!!
if you’re driving near Newmarket along the a14, you can watch horses being exercised on the racetrack. it’s lovely to see. (they’re not far away at 8:22 ish)
What a lovely outing! You all had so much fun. She didn’t want to give up the lead at the end! As for form at the gallop, Pepper was the star, hands down. 😍 You Ladies are by far much better riders than I ever hoped to be. Up your game and ride on a loose(r) rein. Please. The horses will learn to be more relaxed and you’ll get smoother rides. If you watch the video and pay attention you’ll notice some of the head tossing. That will stop. It was by no means horrible, plus no tail swishing that I could see, but the head tossing tells that the horse is in discomfort from the bit on a short rein. I rode Paso Finos that are a lively breed. A slow walk isn’t in their vocabulary. I was taught to give more rein. It resulted in a calmer horse and a much improved gait. Try it for a couple of weeks, maybe a month, and see what happens. ♥️ It’s something different to do and could be fun/interesting to see how it goes. Both of you have gorgeous horses. Thank you for taking me along with you.
That looked like a lot of fun! Laragh must be more of a distance than a sprinter😁. I’m one of 4 who have a 6yo by Mahler that we’ve brought over from Ireland. He has done a few hurdle races and got his handicap and we were really hoping to ask him to knock on next race but we feel the ground is against him running again until next season. A summer chilling can only do him good as he’s a young 6 yo, foaled in June and we want to give him plenty of time. He’s a real sweetheart,so honest in his work and the jockeys gave him good report . It’s great fun up on the gallops early in the morning. They do shift a bit don’t they! Sorry I rambled. 😏. Got excited seeing the gallops😃😃😃
Aweee that brought back very fond memories for me Lucy you really enjoyed that lovely gallop Laragh did amazing and I loved the grey. So loved my gallops on the track when I was young that was great to watch tfs.
My little ex ranch horse hates to be passed on a gallop! He would have to learn to deal with it at Newmarket, ha ha!! But seeing as how we’re in Arkansas, we will just live vicariously through others 💕
I always thought she was super fast but bless her... the intention was there... you can see the striking difference and her powering flat out wishing herself to go go go, whereas bless him Shark looked as if he was casually running along, his sideways jog would've done great in a dressage arena hahaha!
Random but I love your videos, always so honest and you're such a nice person, proper genuine and I also want to move to Norfolk lol! So much fun there with gallops, hunting, beaches etc etc!! (Bedford sucks lol!)
I once raced against a retired racehorse ( a 21 year old Anglo-Arab) with my 9 year old Welsh x Arab pony........for 5 glorious seconds I thought my little pony had beaten the old ex racehorse...and then his rider gave his horse a sign and that old racehorse took of flying; 2 seconds later we were eating his dust...damn that horse was fast, even at 21 years old......was a great race though :D
I hope this story makes a few people laugh. My good friend owns a barn so that’s where I ride at. A few years ago she had gotten a 6 year old OTTB. Once it was spring we took them to their quarter mile track in the back yard. Our dumb minds thought it would be a good idea for her to canter off in front of us. She canters off and Bruce (the ottb) takes off in FULL speed. I go flying off backwards, frustrated but laughing. Why would we think it was a good idea to do that 😂 his first time back on a track too 🤦🏻♀️
Absolutely loved your video. Yes your girl has the racing spirit ! I love your trailer, how light it is & how it can be pulled by an suv/ opens from the side. Thanks for sharing from the U.S.
That looked like a lot of fun. Takes me back to the gallops with my horse Smokey. He would have loved that. He thought he was a racehorse. And he was fast enough. Your mare loved that run. She would have went around again. Never jumped those fences, but would have liked to try it. Thank you for sharing this video. .
Loved watching this. Brought back memories of my younger days. I can't ride horses now, but it's great to see the helmet-cam because it really feels like we are riding with you :-)
Such a cool video idea, loving all the new videos! Huge fan of your channel, have been for a while now, so happy that you're getting the recognition you deserve!!
I imagine loading Laragh was another fun challenge. Video idea for next winter when many of us have the winter blues and need a laugh, blooper video of loading Laragh. You would have lots of material and you always handle it with such good humor. Bonnie missed you. What a changed formerly wild pony. You have done a great job with her.
I use to dream about having a day like that with my mare. She had jockey club on sires side and grade appy on dams side. You could feel it in her bones though. Whirl away was her great grandfather on her sires side
What a fun vlog! Love your music selection for Charlotte's view of the gallop!! So cute also her pup run & jumping at her leash! Beautiful facility for all sorts of galloping. Laurghlee certainly seems fit & ready for eventing. Lots of fun with the different adventures you & Laurghlee takes us on. Thank you. Lol stay safe.🐎😎
Wish I could take my OTTB galloping it would be so fun. He wasn’t very good at racing but he had weak hindquarters and now he is so much stronger and more fit
Laragh her galop is my race horse his fast train galop and he can go way faster than his train galop, but he is on a break from racing cause he had an surgery 1 week ago (sorry for my bad english i'm french)
