It’s worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyper-inflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.
I've stuck with the popularly ‘’Sharon Ann Meny” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, I agree with her.
As someone who grew up in Grand Cayman and has lived here my entire life, I must applaud this documentary. I’ve been watching you for years and never in my right mind did I expect a video on our little slice of paradise. Addressing our history, current status and future outlook, it’s very well researched and put out. Regarding the cost of climate change, massive implications over the last few years due to residential and commercial development alongside massive beach erosion from recent storms has already begun decimating our western coast (7 Mile Beach). Besides some incorrect information, such as about some not having running water or power and the crocodiles/alligators, very well put. Thank you for this Simon.

A bit of a sensationalized and slanted account of Cayman and its financial services industry. He completely ignores that Cayman is on the whitelist of the Financial Action Task Force, the OECD and the EU. He doesn’t really reference facts just comments of the “Tax Justice Network” and the “Transparency International”.
Thanks for that. I don't know if you know about this. Most people don't. But Simon has a lot of channels. You sound like Trump discovering something for the first time for him that everyone already knows.
My great grandfather was British SAS. He was born in New Zealand and raised in the Cayman. He went back to ChristChurch and moved back three weeks later. "NZ is my homeland. But this beach is my home. And these dark skinned people, my family." He said this to my father and spent his old age with a beautiful Jamaican women eight years his senior. One day he walked into the sea and never came back.

The British didn’t always speak this way. Shakespeare and Chaucer spoke English with an accent, similar to American English. The reason the current British accent exists, is snobbery. Around the time of the American Revolution, rich, young Brits wanted another way to differentiate themselves from common/poor Brits. So they intentionally dropped the hard “r”. It’s called Received Pronunciation.
