It’s such a good book. When Ruka interpreters the wall for the first time and figured out all the history, I fell in love with the book. I want to do a dedicated review for it.
I've read Travelers Gate Trilogy and Michael Fletcher before. For Dune i have watched it but have not touched the books yet. Your reviews on the other books make them sound interesting. But you always have a way of doing that with your videos! Epic back back again!!!
Hell yeah, man! You brought up some awesome series that I definitely need to check out. And I love that more people are reading Elric; I need to finish the last three books this year.
Love your videos. Always gives me great options to add to the TBR. Will certainly add Richard Nell and Crooks to the list now. All the others I have read and loved so we have pretty similar tastes which has me excited to read the authors I haven’t picked up yet
I love your calm and clear illustration and explanation of these books. Brian sounds like a great author. I haven't read any of them, but I love listening to you discuss them. Plus great animation, edit, lovely Epic Talez background, nice dread. Ah, my eye won't see something and not talk? Yoruba will say, "Bojubari enu adake" Well, I couldn't hold back, but I think you are adding some weight. lol
My guy! Thanks for watching. You want to make my head explode abi? 😂 It’s always nice when you pass by. I am jealous of all the goat meat you are eating in Nigeria. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
@EpicTalez Don't stress yourself. I can use DHL. Just scared it would stale before it gets to Vancouver, but you can microwave it afterwards. Food na food.
You get me so hyped for the ones I haven’t read yet! I’ve committed to the first law standalones and some self pub already but after that I want to dive into some of these. I’m gonna have to buckle up and read voraciously
I only read Gunmetal Gods when I did because of you. Thank you so much. We should do more Buddyreads. I would love to know your thoughts after you do. Thanks for watching!
Will Wight's books are indeed amazing, but he has issues with his endings in all his novels. He always leaves me feeling let down. Dune series is probably incredible, but I'm really not a fan of such slow starters. Perhaps I'll give it another shot sometime in the future.
Great video! I was hoping you would mention someone up and coming. I had never heard of Colin JD Crooks before, but I will definitely be checking for him now.
He surprised me as well. I read his book ready to DNF it but boy I went on a ride! I would love to know what you thinks after you read it. Thanks for watching.
Working through Chapterhouse: Dune right now. I will definitely pick it up in 2025. I'm a bit of a Grimdark head, so I was familiar with the books you mentioned. But I always try to keep an eye out of what's next. I've seen you've been busy working on your channel, Epic. Outside of Slowly Red, you're probably one of the only channels that cover Grimdark exclusively. I wish you nothing but the best in 2025.
@@ENCELADUS777 Thanks! I appreciate that. Slowly Read inspired me. I have some cool stuff planned out for 2025. I wish you prosperity, joy and fulfillment in 2025.
Well, thank you my man. Some are definitely going to the basket. (If not all) And yes Dune is that book ! And Frank is that guy ! (But I will advice to stop after hunters of dune and worms of dune by his son. The rest kind of undermines what cane before.)
I have been advised multiple times to not read the ones his son wrote. I won't. I'll take it too personal if I hate what he did to the story. Thanks for watching!
@@EpicTalez Yes this isn't just based on the comments of the bookworms community. A friend of mine whose tastes I trust a lot did read like ten of Brian's (Butlerian - Sisterhood...) and he was like the raven from Edgar Allan Poe's : nevermore ! 😂
Greeeat animations!
Epic editing and interesting narration. Great job 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching!
Ash and Sand trilogy was so good. My favourite read of 2023!
It’s such a good book. When Ruka interpreters the wall for the first time and figured out all the history, I fell in love with the book. I want to do a dedicated review for it.
Great list. Several of these are on my TBR, and it is good to hear you enjoyed them.
Happy new year! Thanks for watching!
I have to pick up The Dragon Bone Chair and The Spear Cuts through Water - great list
You will love The Spear cuts through water for sure. Thanks for watching!!

I am very interested. Don’t joke with me. I will buy my ticket now. 😂

The travelers gate is really good from what i've heard... bruh..love the animations on this
Thanks for watching! Travellers gate is dope.
Incredible video and quick reviews, sir. Really pleased you've enjoyed the Ash and Sand trilogy. Thanks so much for including it.
Thanks for watching. Look out for more Ash and Sand content. I would also love to have you on my channel if you can make time for it.
@@EpicTalez Yes happy to.
Very cool list, Epic! I really enjoyed Gunmetal Gods when I read it this year.
Gunmetal Gods is so good. I want to read book 2 ASAP. I just bought it. Thanks for watching!
@ nice! I hope to read the other books as well.
@ let me know when you start. Maybe we read together.
