My first warped tour was amazing yet now I look back on it and I wonder what the hell I was doing. I missed so many bands and stressed out too much, and right before they let us in the venue a tropical storm just decided that it wanted to make it's way through Maryland so that pushed the time back an hour and we were standing in line in the rain. But all in all, warped tour is the one thing that gets me through the year because I'm able to look forward to it in the summer :)

I've been getting a lot of questions about this and I should have addressed this more clearly in the video: I only recommend to bring your ID just as a precautionary measure because it's always good to have it with you just in case something goes wrong. Usually however, the venue will just scan your ticket, no questions asked, and let you in. So you don't NEED an ID, it's just good to have it with you just in case :~)

No they do not. If the venue has any sort of issue about it for some weird reason then they can always call the person who's name is on the ticket to verify. But they usually just scan your ticket and let you in no questions asked

Just wear white, drink lots of water b4 you head to the destination (no drinks beyond gates), eat food and drink Gatorade in car before leaving, there's free phone charging centers (idk where but I heard they are there) . you will have to sacrifice seeing other bands because of the times of bands playing so choose wisely. If you're with a group of friends, set up a meet up destination so you guys don't lose each other. And just try to stay cool. Hope this helps

Seriously guys, last year my friends made fun of me for bringing toilet paper. But if there's only portapotties, you will probably need it. So bring toilet paper.

Hey I'm 13 and going on the July 16th showing. Im going with my best friend. I was just wondering what the hell should I wear? I've had people tell me dress as cool as possible, dress in all black, no make up, yes make up, dont wear bands shirts do wear band shirts, dont wear bandeas, wear your bikini instead of undergarments... etc. Wth do i wear? I know i can trust real fans.
Heaven Robinson Wear something that has a lot of air flow and that isn't black since that absorbs a lot of heat! also I definitely recommend comfy shorts (I preferably wear spandex shorts that I wear when working out). You can definitely wear make up just don't wear too much as it can run off with sweat and all. And feel free to wear a band shirt if you want :)
Same! There's a bunch of dirt ;-; and grass but there's a lot of dirt :( I've been going there for the past four years and it's always the same there. You should get there before 8am it gets really packed fast
Just a tip to people DONT bring a camera besides the one on your phone, they do not allow you to bring any professional cameras aka only your phone camera
i wouldn't recommend bringing your entire wallet. Maybe just bring some cash. You don't need your ID to get in or anything like that. It's not worth losing
Hayley Bean You'll need your ID if you are 21+ and want to drink some al-kee-hawl...But definitely do not bring your whole wallet. Just your ID, cash, cell phone, battery charger, and a water bottle. Someone said protein bars. That is a great idea.

Leora Ojadi There are various food stands located throughout the venue (food prices are on average around $5) and there are no maps because the whole setup isn't massively huge. You can easily find your way and that's why I recommend to just walk around a bit after checking the set times so you can get familiar with the venue. There are no given bathroom breaks, you just leave for the bathroom whenever you have to go :~)

Leora Ojadi There are maps sometimes. Depending on which Warped you go to. They're trying to make the food/drinks cheaper but it's still a pretty penny. Also the Warped Tour's website has some helpful things on it too. You can follow the band members on Twitter(they sometimes post what stage/time and where/when their gonna be signing)

Megan Rathbun You can do that too! It's all about preference really. The drawstring helps to give more airflow on your back vs. the small backpack but either is totally fine :) and I typically bring around $100-$150 which can buy me around seven shirts for example

2. It depends on the band. Some announce meet and greets on Instagram or twitter or FB. Some you have to ask at their merch table. Some do it through a different table eg Alternative Press 3. Really early. I got to my venue at 8:30 and it was filled with people. 4. The average set is about 30-45 minutes
I have a question I'm hoping you might be able to give me an answer too! I'm attending Warped for the first time ever this year, and one of the bands playing was kind enough to get me on the guest list! I've heard multiple things that if you are under 18 you have to walk in with a parent or whatever, so do you think there will be any hassle when I go to the guest list tent to get into Warped? My dad and step-mom are coming, but they are buying tickets, so they will not be in the same line as me and my friend. Overall, I guess my question is: do you think I'll get much hassle for not having walking in with my parent even though they will be there with me, or is there any advice you have for this scenario?

Priya Parmanand No worries! What I would suggest is that you should find a less packed area of the crowd you're in. From this safe zone you can survey the area and see where the pits are generally starting in the crowd. Once you know where they are typically forming, you can move to another spot in the crowd where you see is safe. Pits usually form in the very center of the crowd so if you get barricade (front row)/very close to the front you'll be safe there too, although you will feel a bit squished.

***** Yeah definitely! Even though you're only going for two bands, it's still so much fun to be at the festival. The atmosphere is great. Your mom will be very safe as long as she's not in the very middle of the crowd. She can view the bands off to the side while you're having fun somewhere else in the crowd too if she's okay with that. You can easily meet up with her once the set is over if you establish a meeting spot. Also you can leave the tour at any point during the day. I've seen so many parents at warped tour and they all seemed like they were having a great time :)

jc24station you can buy as much merch as you can comfortably carry haha. And what I usually do is that I first buy a few shirts and then wrap the CD's in the shirts to that there is some protection throughout the day. I would recommend buying the CD's towards the end of the day though so it's not too much of a hassle.
Andreaaa210 oh yeah for sure, lots of people wear tie dye! I would say get there 2-3 hours before and if you really want first in line maybe more like 4-5 hours before.

I only got to the venue 30 minutes early last year and I scored a ticket to meet falling in reverse. As soon as the gates open, run to their tent. Run as fast as you can because people will be running there too.
Yep they do! They usually don't but sometimes you have to buy some merch from a certain band to be able to get a wristband to enter their meet n greet.

No, you do that at the tour. You just need to find the tents of the bands you want to see and they'll have info posted on like a white board or something. You can also just ask the person working the band's merch tent about when you can meet the band and if you need to buy anything to get in :)
I'm a fairly small person and I look like I'm a seven year old (whoops) and I really want to go this year but I don't know if it'll be safe for me. I'm probably going with a friend if I go. I also want to meet bands like PTV and BVB but I'm sure that a lot of other people can beat me... We also are not sure if any adult would want to go with us because my mom is terrified of "weird" kids and my friends dad definitely won't ever go with us. I want to take advantage of adults getting in free. Tips? I'm 13 btw and pretty mature
+Ehts Lizzianne Hey there! The first time I went to warped tour I was 14 and I felt pretty intimidated as well. I'm a pretty tall person so that helped, however my friend was really short at the time. My dad did come with us but after an hour or so we were having the time of our lives so we just totally ended up straying away from him haha. My friend and I studied the crowds and were able to pick out the best places to stand without potentially getting hurt. Just be observant of your surroundings and stick with your friend and everything should be a-okay :) Also you have just as much of a chance of meeting them as anyone else there so don't worry about that, just make sure you find their tent right after you get in so you can find out what time they're having meet n greets.
Eric Teman I assume you got your tickets from Ticketmaster? There should be an option where they can send you physical tickets but you'll have to pay a few extra bucks. If for some reason you can't find that option and it only lets you print them then you'll have to call Ticketmaster and make sure you reference your receipt number (which you got in your order confirmation email and online on Ticketmaster). holly KATT I totally feel you. I was so nervous my first time but the moment I got down all the set times and meet and greet times a lot of the nervousness went away. Just know that a majority of the people at warped are very understanding, accepting and kind to everyone. It's kinda just like this whole big family getting together to watch all their favorite bands. Same goes with anyone bands/youtubers you want to meet! They're all very kind and are very willing to get to know you and such. Just be yourself and have fun :) Since the atmosphere will be new to you it might be tough to feel totally comfortable at first but once you get familiar with the venue by walking around and watching a few sets and going to a few meet n greets you'll get the hang of it and you'll have a blast :) I hope this helped! ❤

Megan Rathbun You can do that too! It's all about preference really. The drawstring helps to give more airflow on your back vs. the small backpack but either is totally fine :) and I typically bring around $100-$150 which can buy me around seven shirts for example
hey! i'm going for the first time on july 9th and i have a few questions, so if anyone could answer that would be great!
1. where do i find a schedule of where and when the bands are playing? are they like free and handed out to everyone? or do you have to buy them somewhere?
2. if i want to meet a band exactly how do i go about doing that? i know that some bands have meet and greets at their merch tables, and that you have to get like some wristband to attend one?? i'm not really sure how that works and if i have to pay to get one of those wristbands to attend.
3. what would you say is the perfect time to arrive? would getting there early make anything easier?
4. lastly, how long is the average set? i feel like this would be helpful to know if i want to see 2 different bands whose shows start close together.

1. Theres a huge inflatable setlist time for every band that plays that day. It changes at every stop so you will find out the times on the day.

2. It depends on the band. Some announce meet and greets on Instagram or twitter or FB. Some you have to ask at their merch table. Some do it through a different table eg Alternative Press
3. Really early. I got to my venue at 8:30 and it was filled with people.

I have a question I'm hoping you might be able to give me an answer too! I'm attending Warped for the first time ever this year, and one of the bands playing was kind enough to get me on the guest list! I've heard multiple things that if you are under 18 you have to walk in with a parent or whatever, so do you think there will be any hassle when I go to the guest list tent to get into Warped? My dad and step-mom are coming, but they are buying tickets, so they will not be in the same line as me and my friend. Overall, I guess my question is: do you think I'll get much hassle for not having walking in with my parent even though they will be there with me, or is there any advice you have for this scenario?

When is the earliest time I should get there to get a good idea of where everything is before the sests start? The show starts at 6:00 in Mesa, AZ. Yes. It will be very hot. But what time do you think I should get there by?
In my opinion, get there as early as possible. In Cali, my brother got there at 7:00 am and the show starts at 11:00 and it was packed when he got there. So get there as early as possible,

Megan Rathbun I'm pretty certain that you can bring beach chairs but as far as getting back in, it all depends on your venue so you would have to ask them if they allow that or not

Priya Parmanand No worries! What I would suggest is that you should find a less packed area of the crowd you're in. From this safe zone you can survey the area and see where the pits are generally starting in the crowd. Once you know where they are typically forming, you can move to another spot in the crowd where you see is safe. Pits usually form in the very center of the crowd so if you get barricade (front row)/very close to the front you'll be safe there too, although you will feel a bit squished.

3| I normally wear ripped jeans so is that normal at warped tour?

5| OH AND do you have to be with somebody 18+ to get in?

I want to go this year but the only superb bands i want to see are black veil brides and pierce the veil, my mom's not a mosh friendly person so I'm kind of scared to take her 😂, do you still recommend going?
***** Yeah definitely! Even though you're only going for two bands, it's still so much fun to be at the festival. The atmosphere is great. Your mom will be very safe as long as she's not in the very middle of the crowd. She can view the bands off to the side while you're having fun somewhere else in the crowd too if she's okay with that. You can easily meet up with her once the set is over if you establish a meeting spot. Also you can leave the tour at any point during the day. I've seen so many parents at warped tour and they all seemed like they were having a great time :)

Is there a limit to how much merch you should get? And what should you do if you end up buying cd's so they don't get broke?
jc24station you can buy as much merch as you can comfortably carry haha. And what I usually do is that I first buy a few shirts and then wrap the CD's in the shirts to that there is some protection throughout the day. I would recommend buying the CD's towards the end of the day though so it's not too much of a hassle.

Andreaaa210 oh yeah for sure, lots of people wear tie dye! I would say get there 2-3 hours before and if you really want first in line maybe more like 4-5 hours before.

Get there about two to three hours before the show if you want to get in early... Depends how far you kive from the venue
I only got to the venue 30 minutes early last year and I scored a ticket to meet falling in reverse. As soon as the gates open, run to their tent. Run as fast as you can because people will be running there too.

Yep they do! They usually don't but sometimes you have to buy some merch from a certain band to be able to get a wristband to enter their meet n greet.

No, you do that at the tour. You just need to find the tents of the bands you want to see and they'll have info posted on like a white board or something. You can also just ask the person working the band's merch tent about when you can meet the band and if you need to buy anything to get in :)

I'm a fairly small person and I look like I'm a seven year old (whoops) and I really want to go this year but I don't know if it'll be safe for me. I'm probably going with a friend if I go. I also want to meet bands like PTV and BVB but I'm sure that a lot of other people can beat me... We also are not sure if any adult would want to go with us because my mom is terrified of "weird" kids and my friends dad definitely won't ever go with us. +Ehts Lizzianne Hey there! The first time I went to warped tour I was 14 and I felt pretty intimidated as well. I'm a pretty tall person so that helped, however my friend was really short at the time. My dad did come with us but after an hour or so we were having the time of our lives so we just totally ended up straying away from him haha. My friend and I studied the crowds and were able to pick out the best places to stand without potentially getting hurt. Just be observant of your surroundings and stick with your friend and everything should be a-okay :) Also you have just as much of a chance of meeting them as anyone else there so don't worry about that, just make sure you find their tent right after you get in so you can find out what time they're having meet n greets.

Eric Teman I assume you got your tickets from Ticketmaster? There should be an option where they can send you physical tickets but you'll have to pay a few extra bucks. If for some reason you can't find that option and it only lets you print them then you'll have to call Ticketmaster and make sure you reference your receipt number (which you got in your order confirmation email and online on Ticketmaster). hi, this is my first time going to warped and I'm super nervous. ( also have social anxiety. But I take meds for that) do you have any tips on letting lose and meet and greets I know this is late but I would really love the advice.
holly KATT I totally feel you. I was so nervous my first time but the moment I got down all the set times and meet and greet times a lot of the nervousness went away. Just know that a majority of the people at warped are very understanding, accepting and kind to everyone. It's kinda just like this whole big family getting together to watch all their favorite bands. Same goes with anyone bands/youtubers you want to meet! They're all very kind and are very willing to get to know you and such. Just be yourself and have fun :) Since the atmosphere will be new to you it might be tough to feel totally comfortable at first but once you get familiar with the venue by walking around and watching a few sets and going to a few meet n greets you'll get the hang of it and you'll have a blast :) I hope this helped! ❤
