Something unique about SpellStrom is that it is affected by all the limit breaks that its components got before uniting. I wish they would implement this for every other evo in the game, tbh
Neat, I wasn't aware of that. I know a few weapons change their LB stats on evolving but at least the shared stats should carry.

I had a "single" weapon run with Eleanor last night. After the fusion starts to limit break, it gets so busted that the guardians just kinda melted in less than 2 seconds. She might be my favorite new character.
Suggestion: Get a full inventory BEFORE picking up the academy badge. Since it acts as a stage item, you can break the 6 passive cap with it. It doesn't hurt your growth TOO much, and gives you extra amount and revivals.
Also, it's the third character that destroys the crystal, not this one. I won't spoil anything, but there's a bit of a story involved in this DLC.
The DLC has been amazing. I love the new map and most of the weapons. My favorite is the sword, it does retaliation damage so you can get those absurd HP and might numbers very easily.

The crystal can only be broken by the third character you'll unlock with their evolution. The weapon in the crystal is the one needed to break it. Also the video description is wrong, it's talking about a cappella magna never move challenge.
Edit: limit break with this character is actually doable on the library, although I started with silent old sanctuary so I'm not sure whether a wicked season start would be possible. I did beat it without even getting the union though - the game bugged and I never got lv6 spellstrike.

There’s an extra relic on the beta, but not the new engine beta. It’s pretty nice so I’d recommend doing that version so you can get it

to break the crystal, you need to play the next character and evolve his weapon, and then you get another character, and you evolve her weapon with clover and bracer, and take it to the green crystal. you wouldn't know, but the weapon displayed inside the crystal is her evolved weapon, so once you get it its super easy
Also, when levelling up the next guy, go to the crystal, go down, right into the nook in the forest, then try walking through the trees. If you pick the right spot you'll walk into a square enclosed area with special spawns you'll want to hunt a few thousand of for... reasons
@@snegglepuss6669 That spot is weird, I mean atleast with the three clovers area spawning the Sammy's it kinda makes sense, the map draws you near that location with the three free luck upgrades, and when you are collecting them they are spawning.
It's an easy and quick place to get to, and its basically marked on your map where the Sammy's can spawn,.. but then there's that one random area which also spawns lots of Sammy's just south of the crystal somewhat hidden in the trees above the stream where that red arrow thing is.
@@Timmothy_plays Yeah, I think it's just there so that if you get to the crystal and realise, oh, I don't have the thing, you have a chance to look around and find something useful to wait the end of the run out farming rather than go all the way back. Annoyingly, those crystals need the guy and the thing(like the achievement says) so when I first went to spoilertown, saw the red gem, and got the thing out of a candybox, it didn't work because I'd continued with the character that unlocks the green gem
I believe the minute-28 wave should be few enemies with a lot of health, but your charm is adding +100 enemies to the wave which is much more significant than other weves because of the %difference (Normal wave would be 100->200 enemies = 2x difference, while the m28 would be something like 25->125 = 5x difference)

Once you get to the lake, you will need to defeat 6000 of Sammy's enemies. These are rare enemies, but fortunately there is a place where they appear in abundance. Head to the location north of Metaglio to the right of the scene and you'll find a hidden woodland where the Sammys spawn endlessly.

Surprised you didn't take Silver Wind at the start; it pairs extremely well with garlic in terms of a shared evolution passive and healing from what few enemies make it through. Also, I recommend leaving the weapons dropped at level 10 and 20 until you have a full arsenal so they don't occupy two spots prior to evolution.

You get 3 arcanas on this map. If you get the one on the map, the third enemy won't drop its arcana chest. If you get the third arcana from the enemy chest, then the one on the map will despawn.
Also, I couldn't clearly see it, but if it really is an arrow shown in the crystal... there is a new character that starts with a Bow&Arrow Weapon...

The single weapon limit break of the spell is actually pretty easy to do I did it on inlaid library, without wicked season and 1 weapon slot since rest of the spells are pickups. It did pretty good considering, so look forward to it. I even took Toronas box and was fairly simple. You have to take in to consideration that they gave Eleanor more Growth that the other characters in the game because of the Academy Badge and while yes it is a little slow to limit break it's still faster than usual since he starts with more growth.😜😃😃 I also had the Charm up to the second to last level and I survived the start.

to breake the green crustal you need the archer and his evolved weapon. After that you open a new level and use the giant sword character to break the red crustal after that you youse this character evolve his weapon and brake the blue crustal and deal with the insanely hard boss. There are two other hidden characters to unlock and you are basically done with the DLC.
I've done some wild stuff in this update already. 10/10 hoping for more like this.

I have done a single weapon run with the Spellstring and all them things. The key is to find Duplicator and Empty Tome quickly. My Upgrade things are fully maxed out with max curse and all that so it’s not like I hamstrung the game to make it possible. Just lots of bobbing and weaving and hoping for Empty Tome to show up early
you need to use the archer guy on the crystal

it resets your run when you do it, you keep all weapons. you need the sword guy afterwards while in the new zone
The solo of that weapon is extremely strong, but you need to survive until the union, silent old sanctuary it's the best with it, and the special union increase the damage every time the shake happen, also under the crystal near the tree on the right side there's a box like space with special monsters, and the crystal you will be able to break it as you progress the new characters

i was playing around with the new characters. and holy **** the wurm character is op as hell.
how to break this character ?, get wicked season + goldrush arcana's . and your done.
This is gorgeous moon levels of broken. one tip if you want to try this. pick up 6 weapons which dont lag the game too much and dont pick any items which would buff speed, duration or area (gold bar is still fine)
if you only bring 1 weapon you will probably lagg out

suggest starting with silent old sanctuary for the 1 weapon run. You start off firing like a machinegun which really helps until you get some other items/weapons and then it also kicks back into full power once you union them.
you can get the weapon dropped by the character later like with the map drop to have more than the max
Eleanor is awesome, my favorite character of this DLC
The character with the sword is a fun single weapon build to do with divine bloodline. The damage output of the evolved form gets kinda nuts.
The cooridor is funneling them in and the no future in hallway is bouncing more often so theyre more clustered together and dying faster.
Limit break on that character is possible on the library. I did a casual run with bloodline, sanctuary, and wicked season. Because I got them in that order it only went a little insane though

The ones that are actually special location spawns are the blue ones from the ¿void? thing bridges go over, the wormies that give cakes (there's a room at east a bit north where they massively spawn and a few spawn at sowthwest), the mantis (east labyrinth and near start passage) and mushrooms (where bracer). I think I'm missing none.
There are some of the flower creatures on the clover patch but that barely matters

I had some wild games with the new sword once evolved you can have some insane retaliation damage builds.
with the next character you unlock which is maruto you can clip thru the trees and river once you get his slam he does makes moving fun and easy ( I think at lvl 4 or 5 on his main weapon

I don’t know if it’s just me, but with this map and with the new characters if I walk into the wall for a couple of seconds and have some of the animations play, I can walk through the walls, and even on the blue ground thingy and I think it only happens when there’s a lot of weapon animations going on, so not early on, but after a bunch of effects are on the screen
to broke the cristal, you need new character, the keitha muorto, with evolved arrow

the most funny build i had with eleanor is a mono weapon run with silent old sanctuary, just picking up the other spell weapons when she drops then by level up to evolve them later. After you evolve it, the weapon is simply amazing with +40CD reduction and +100 might. Getting empty tome and limit breaking the weapon is really satisfying.

Uh, just discovered something interesting: Spellstrom retains the Limit Break bonuses of the standard weapons. Still a waste, but a lesser one.
Also you need the right weapon and the right character to break the crystal. The Character has the pre-evolved weapon, so it is easy to find. Simply keep playing, and you'll find what you seek.
No, the crystal doesn't give you the weapon. It does give you a big surpise.

Pretty sure the reason you were getting so few kills/xp at the end was because garlic was making them take so much knockback that they always get blown off the screen immediately
The crystal has to be broken by the arrow character, with the evolution of his weapon, that's why it has the icon on it. (For ir to evolve you must have bracers and clover)
First time I played the new map I used a 100k gold egg character... couldn't see anything but I could travel across it pretty fast. :D
I did a one weapon only with the new magic want s thing, even on the new map. I took Silent Old Sanctuary and it was actually not too bad. But probably not doable with wicked season

Some enemies scale with your own level, thay's why they become very tanky in the runs that you go OP with high level.

You don't get the arrows by breaking the crystal. You need to use the arrows to break it and then you get something special. It's really cool so I won't spoil any more.
It has to be the arrow lady with two items But I don't remember the Passives all maxed

Damage total for Spellstorm seems to be bugged. 34k dps for 21 minutes should be 43M but it says 2M.
There is a symbol on the crystal that looks like an arrow. Should be enough of a hint.
Also, I did inverse limit break with all three of the weapons. Had to go with bloodline for the final one thou, since it is impossible to survive with only that weapon.

Guys that have Sammy unlocked, i don't know if I'm doing right but in my runs I get 1million every 3min and reset, I don't know if there's a better way to farm without resetting it

You actually cant get the arcana at 21 min when you already have 3. If you only have 2 it drops like normal
