To prevent wheelie on take off, change your gear ratio. Use a bigger sprocket on the motor or smaller sprocket on the wheel. You can also go faster at terminal speed.
Great build ,first on youtube proposing a wallet friendly option to electric conversion looking at ur content from France and would be really interested into seing what this builds capable of cause you making me wanna build one
In the manual it says you can't mount it on the "long side" with the negative side up. I haven't a clue what that means considering if you lay it on the "long side" both terminals would be parallel. I'm guessing they mean on long side with the face up/terminals on the upper part of the battery. Also, where did you get the wedge? Looks/sounds like styrofoam. What's the angle?
Good to know thank you! They didn't mention that when I asked if it can be placed on its side, typically LIFEPO4 can be any direction except upside down for venting reasons. Here is the Wedge, its light like Styrofoam but much more dense/stronger. amzn.to/4hJVn9y
LIFEPO4 charges to 58.4v and can be discharged to 40v, but I would set your controller to cut off at 44v or so, little safer for the battery as the only thing that really kills them is draining them and leaving them drained for too long. Cells have a self discharge rate over time as well.
@@TackleThat thx, what I dont understand is, in your video, you fully charged it and the V is about 53~54v, therefore I think we can probably set the max charge to 54v, rather than 58.4v
@@chungyuanhu To charge to 100%, the charge voltage needs to be higher than the battery for current to flow into it... so we charge at the highest recommend charge voltage, the battery will eventually top off and stop accepting any more current when the battery voltage matches the charger voltage.. that's how you know its full! (and the lil green light comes on) You want to top them off so all the cells inside the pack have time to balance.
Will this battery fit in the mx650? What charger do you use with it? Like the idea of the safer chemistry and I'm thinking of pairing this with a fardriver kit for my kids.
Yeah it will work! You need to remove the old battery bracket in the MX and you can tilt the battery on its side if needed. I prefer the metal case chargers like this one: amzn.to/4fZGcYb
One of the point to use lifepo4 is long life cycle, a ''budget'' battery probably is grade B cells which defeats the purpose. Make sure you get grade A lifepo4 cells and you are set. 👍👍👍☮️
I did a capacity test, this is my 2nd battery from Grener Power and they all tested higher than their capacity and use Grade A new balanced cells. I am very impressed.
It should, you might have to trim the top and sides but the face should cover and look good. Wish I had a cover to try, no plastics came with my frame 🥲
Correct! Lifepo4 packs run a little higher voltage than lithium ion. But, they are still considered 48v. On sale for $248 now, sometimes better on lightning deals! 😀 amzn.to/4eo35D5
Love the battery! Also use these 48V 25Ah batteries to charge your Solar Generator buy plugging into the solar input. That's 500W input.
Awe yeah!! I use 48v lifepo4 for solar as well, can't beat it for the money.
Smart move with the stacking of the small clamps 👍🏽👍🏽⚡️⚡️
Thanks!! Works great 👍👍

That would work, but you lose torque overall as well... Best is just to get a tunable controller, night and day difference all around.
Nice try putting everything together. It can be intimidating and frustrating. Great content.
Thank you sir!! 👍👍
Did you make the wire from the battery or is there somewhere I can buy it?
Hey! Amazon sells em, or you can get the connector and make one! amzn.to/3AXK64T
Any links for the front fork setup?
Sure! Here ya go! s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mtyDxpO and a.aliexpress.com/_mqhXcli
Would the stock battery covers fit ? Even with modding hoping so thanks for this awesome video!!
I wish I had some to test but I think with a little trimming it would work!
Can you share a link to the headlight and brake light please . Thanks for the video it was very helpful 🙂👍
Awesome to hear, thanks for watching!! Here is the headlight: amzn.to/3YO1QaM and the tail light: amzn.to/3CmYuUx
@ thanks 🙏
where did you get the rims and wheels, could you provide a link for them thanks and more power
These are stock SX wheels and tires actually!
Have links to the front shocks and fork clamps? Using factory hardware to bolt them on?
Those bats are on sale for $195 BTW.
Thats a deal! I also updated the description for ya on those!!💪
Can you link the motor bracket ?
Sure check this out facebook.com/share/p/1XShrNzMca/

Thank you for the kind words!! They are so much fun... Are Razors readily available over there?
@TackleThat not really but 125cc4stroke pit bike are they're more like the size of ur qs 120project bike
What is the top speed in this setup?
I hit 28 consistently, stock gearing.

Whats your max speed on this?
28mph 👍
what max and min volt you would recommend to set when charging and discharging?

Would the stock covers fit with this battery boss I’m steering towards this battery but would like to put the covers back on haha 😅

How much is that battery and it's a 51 volt not the 48 it says on the Amazon page
