I’m not sure if it is hard for Eadlyn to see the good qualities in herself that the boys pointed out. But I think the public’s opinion of her was changing the lens she saw herself through at the time. You can tell (especially at this point) that she actually cares about the opinions of the public a lot, and definitely a little too much at times.
