My daughter is now having HER first child, and it’s been fun to help her decorate over the past years and now for her little one. Cherish it all, when it’s not around you’ll miss even the little arguments and the hair ties laying around.❤

For the cards she wants to keep… You can get a cute binder and put the clear inserts, and put the cards in those. Then they’re protected, easy to look at/read, and can be put out rather than in a drawer. ❤
My sister and I shared a room all our life and we really didn't mind.I graduated high school two years before her so our schedules before way different with her going to school and I had a job.I know a lot of people do it but my parents didn't want me to move out at 18 but I had started talking about it.I went away with one of my friends for the weekend and when I got home they had moved me to the basement and fixed it up for me.Of course they didn't go through my stuff but they boxed it up.This was a reminder of that and I just wanted to share.My sister spent most of the weekends in the basement with me lol.

For the mini fridge, u can try wrapping the front in some cute contact paper that would go with her decor. As long as the contact paper is sturdy and wipeable its totally doable! 😊

My daughter is 10. I got a lot of her graphic tops from the junior section of Kohl's. I think they're normally $20 for 2. Normal length 👐🏽. We got Stranger things, ac dc, etc..... All cute and appropriate for a 5th grader.
I love this idea! My daughter just turned 11 and I also struggle as well with finding something age appropriate but still “cool”. I am going to get out kohl’s!
@@S_M1. I live a few blocks from one. They're not hanging at the store. Like 20-30 options folded on those tiered rack/display shelves in the junior section at my Kohl's. 2 for $20 or something like that.

You guys did a great job on her bedroom! I love it! It’s so cute without being little kid cute. I hope that makes sense! 😂😂😂 I think the homework room is a great a great idea. It would make a great place to store all of their school stuff like you said. Then you won’t have backpacks and folders and papers all over the kitchen like I do! We need to figure out something new this year because my kids were throwing their backpacks on the floor in the dining room but that drove me nuts last year. Four kids in school equals a lot of backpacks and lunch boxes and gym bags.

For over her bed, you could do one of those LED word lights. They can make one custom of her name or have it be whatever you want.
Haha! I see you got an LED sign over her vanity 😂 you don’t need two of them. Hobby Lobby has turquoise rose wall hangings. I would maybe do something with that and try to find them in different colors…orange, teal, etc.

I got my kids a 3 tier rolling cart, so this way I can keep all the school supplies like pen, pencils and also keep the daily paperwork they come home with. It's in my kitchen in the corner so doesn't look like clutter and nice and neat 😊
