If there's anyone that will find a Thylacine it's this guy
Fr
They've been. Seen recently.
@@ChandlerBinG2.7 where?

My brother Forrest needs a legit tv series
he has 2
How did you not know he has a show? Is Western TV banned in your country?
He's got one on animal planet
Has has a couple. . .
He's had no idea you are alive. 😂😂😂
"Thylacine" sounds like the name of the next big mental health medication 😂
😂
Bro it’s the Tasmanian Tiger or Tasmanian Wolf I’m not sure why he called it that maybe it’s the scientific name or something….
Was going to say, sounds like a medicine with aweful side effects
@@TheKingOfPizza349it’s the animals actual name, but “Tasmanian tiger” is a nickname commonly given to it
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
It’s so sad what happened to them. I had to do research on them for my zoology class. In the parts of Australia where they were most common, farmers started to notice sheep going missing. Without examining it further, they just hunted down and killed the Tasmanian tigers (as they were called). Only after killing them all did they find out that it wasn’t the Tasmanian tigers that were killing the sheep, but Dingos. The Tasmanian tigers mainly ate other marsupials, like kangaroos.
Bruh people are so weird
@@jayyy4491dumb, panicky animals
.... and now kangaroos are over populating Australia. People are always paying for the sins of their fathers.
Same thing happen to Japan wolves
But there are no Dingoes in Tasmania..only on the mainland... 🤷
I lived in Tasmania for 12 years and spoke to old school loggers who said they saw them in the more remote areas.

This one is the animal I want him to rediscovered the most.
Its almost as much of a mismatched bunch of animal traits as the platypus.
I hope there are a few still out there. They're such a unique species that it really would be such a shame if they were all gone.
True prehistoric animals survive all that time just to be killed by some idiots
I live in Tasmania Australia and there's lots of places in the bush you cannot go where they may still live
Heard something about them actually being spotted in the north east of America

That’s impossible
@@Yahoooo.1is it supposed to be in a certain climate? I’ve heard of foreign animals/insects coming to America before. Just curious why it’s impossible it can’t be there.

@@victormacs7897no he's not lying, maybe not this one but he found some extinct animal and it's going viral
The last living thylacine died in captivity because the handlers forgot to bring it in for the night and it died due to exposure to the elements. Basically the coolest animal on earth was under appreciated, misunderstood, and mishandled, all by humans. I really hope they’re still out there and I hope Forrest finds one
I love how passionate this guy is about animals. We would have so many less extinct animals if more people were like him.
Anywhere a certain group settle it's always a carnage
I sure hope that it's still around...
the first animal that i discovered that got extinct is this dawg, i hope you rediscover them😢
I'm pretty sure he just said marsupial and not canine 😂.
At one time England sent criminals to Australia. And I thought they were the ones that settled in Australia at that time. I didn't know there were settlers in Australia at that time. Learned something new besides the Thylacine. Thank you for the information. Happy trails to you and God bless.
You didn't learn anything. Clearly.
They still are around. They gotta be. They are way to smart. Animals have proven time and time again that they will evolve and evade just to survive.
Yup
the one in the zoo died because the zoo keepers forgot to put it away one night, it froze to death, i remember reading it in a book years ago but no one ever says about that
Animals are property what do you expect??? Make a change or no one will care
😳😳😵😥 I hope he got fired... 😥😥
@@shitposter696 i think we all expect the zoo keeper do have done there job properly
There has been talk of cloning Mammoths and introducing them into Siberia or the Canadian Wilderness. However, I believe if there was a concerted cloning effort than the Thylacine should be near the top of the list. Animals that have been directly impacted due to human intervention. Get DNA samples from any bones and pelts. Try to create a genetically diverse population.
Even if you could clone them, how the he'll would you raise them? Make a fake pouch of an animal that no longer exists? Try to stick it in a wombat pouch or a devil or kangaroo pouch and hope they don't notice or care? Seems like a pretty big problem to solve.
@@bryanzvolanek8129 Most worthwhile things require trial and error to figure out. Thylacine was driven to extinction relatively recently. Recently enough to simulate means of care from research done on the animal. Raise a few in captivity until you have enough. In a way it is how they brought the California Condor back from the brink. Captive breeding programs.
@@porpus99 California condor chick's were in Claifornia Condor eggs laid by California condors, with many raised by California condor. No cloning, no need to try an make an egg, or inject a fertilized egg cell into the egg of another species to develop ( neither of which is currently possible).
The thylacine's closest relatives are the Tasmanian devil and the quolls, which are not very closely related. You would have to somehow take genetic material from the dead somatic cells of thylacine tissue, hope that all of it is still viable, somehow get that into the egg of one of the species above, then either implant that egg into a devil, quoll, or kangaroo until the embryo develops without getting it rejected, and then transfer the embryo after birth into some kind of synthetic pouch-like environment that you have to make from scratch. All of this is incredibly difficult. They have cloned genetic material from somatic cells and transferred it to a blank egg, and even developed an artificial placenta in which they tried to get sheep to develop, which did actually work...for 2.5 days before the embryo died. Nothing like this has ever been tried with A. an extinct animal, B. With genetic material from dead tissue that is, at its youngest over 100 years old, C. with a species with no closely related substitute taxon, D. With any marsupial. And this isn't like the fake Frankenstein's monster "mammoths" they're talking about trying to make by inserting genes from wooly mammoths into some poor Asian elephant embryo so it maybe grows red hair and curvy tusks while staying alive. It would be incredibly incredibly difficult to clone and raise a thylacine at all, let alone to healthy adulthood.
Human beings are the most wild animals.
Ive seen wilder.
No Europeans are lol
I love that they have mapped the DNA now and they're talking about bringing the thylacine back.❤
If it's still alive, I'm sure Forest will find out!
Has always been my favorite animal and it’s the extinct animal that I hope is still out there somewhere hiding from us most. Hopefully one day I’ll see one. If anyone can find them it’s Forrest.
Never even heard of it 😅
Forrest, I love what you do and thank you for all your videos
The chupacabra story is from 2 of these guys getting loose and never being officially seen again
Would love it if you found a thylacine,or fresh sign,or filmed one!
Bro! I’m so excited for when you find these in the wild🥰
I truly hope that there's some small pocket of them surviving somewhere away from mankind.😔
I've only just come across your channel in the last few days, and I can't tell you how much I loved it!!🥰✨👍💯 Keep up all your awesome work, and educating people.✨💖
Extinct means extinct lol. They’re trying to resurrect them by using dna and putting it into an already living similar animal.
@@asia8001 true....extinct means extinct. But there have been animals claimed to be extinct that have later been found to still be in existence. Don't necessarily agree that resurrection via DNA manipulation should be done,...but it does break my heart to see the animals go extinct or become endangered.😔

I find it amazing how many of the animals in Australia are marsupials . It makes it easier for transportation but harder to have many offspring at one time .
I live in Busselton WA in the late 90’s I saw a picture that a local farming family have been doing research and managed to take a picture of the back of a tiger in person the pic is so clear. It was the Slee family they live on slee rd. I recommend you contact the fam

Go to Papua new guinea and find it

The Thylacine went extinct 2000 years ago in Papua New Guinea.
@richardhincemon maybe or maybe not because most part of Papua new Guinea is still undiscovered. There's stories of animals like in Papua New Guinea, so I wouldn't rule it out until someone decided to go look for it.
I love how excited about wildlife Forrest gets. You can see the love he has for it in his eyes.
Please do another expedition!
This is way better to find than Loch Ness and Big Foot. I hope they are just out there with a healthy population far from humans.
Thank u for reviving my love for animals
Same for me, he’s like a modern day Steve Irwin.
Forrest sir, incase u need be reminded today. Your an absolute legend in my book. What's it like to be so humble? What's it like to walk around "normal" folk.... The animals on this planet thank you sir.
My grandfather seen one in PNG in 1994. Use to have pics I’ve checked all his old stuff and can’t find them
If you ever find that pic. Please please let me know.!
A purposeful extinction is disgusting! 😡
They're out there, my bud from Dallas Texas saw one while there and described it with a pointed nose with stripes on its back and rear legs and saw it lick it's own nose.
My grandmother is from Australia and she would always tell stories of a striped wolf that lived in the eucalyptus forest
More commonly called the Tasmanian Tiger. Where they were eventually hunted to extinction sadly.
Seems incredibly adaptable. Sad it had to go
It didn't just go away, man decimated it....
Always interesting!
Forrest is THE man...
I'm an Australian and this is the greatest tragedy to all Aussies growing up learning about them but never being able to see one is a shame so sad
If anyone can find one, it's you, my man.
If he actually finds one it would be crazy💀
I hope there are still scientists that are trynna breed different animals I wanna see something beast like fr
European settlers seem to have been pretty savage everywhere they went
This animal scared the hell out of me she I first saw it in the blaire witch project back around ‘99 😂
I hope he finds these beautiful creatures
It's mind blowing to think, this animal was still around shortly before WW2!😮
I think its still out there❤
It was probably around for thousands of years if not tens of thousands and was completely destroyed in a little over 100 year's. What ashame.
I'm from Tassie mate. My grandmother and her brother used to get harassed by one while walking to town near Penguin in Northern Tassie as a child. It used to shadow them while walking along their long driveway. Tigers were "attracted" to man or more accurately their livestock and poultry. They were not timid or shy at all and we're quite bold if it meant an easy meal. Their range was quite large if required to find food. So if there are any left it truly would be fantastic and also a modern day miracle. I hope that there are some left somewhere but I just don't see how given that the remotest parts of Tasmania are no longer all that remote.
I love this, I remember Jeff Corwin (I believe) or some other Animal Planet show teaching me about these animals in the 90’s. And I remember thinking they were so cool! So glad there’s people out there still interested in finding them!
This is one YES that I wanna hear Forrest scream out. I was in Tasmania and I've heard many legends of it still being around.
They actually got video of one in the wild. Dude literally cried when he saw it
I remember a movie about somebody hunting for them to prove that they still existed. I think it was an Australian movie, but it was amazing.
Was William Dafoe the hunter? If so good movie but horrible cgi for the tassie tiger
@@ziggyhogan7560 I know I agree it looks nothing like the real Tiger

Ah ,the infamous chupacabra!
Forrest is the man.
There are still marsupial carnivorous in Australia. And There still sick AF.
I’ll be surprised if he ever finds one still alive.
so cruel and sad the last one died in captivity man.
There's a really good movie about the Thylacine with William Dafoe in it. I forgot the name but it was a really sad but excellent film.
I don't care what you think you know about these. I'm a Western Australian who has seen a thylacine in the Southwest of our state. Far from the only one, a local politician's wife saw one and a friend of mine, who like me had come across one deep in the bush while out growing dope. The one I saw had no stripes, so I didn't think of thylacine, more inclined to believe a big cat, as in panther size. Later I learned they moulted annually and lose their stripes at a certain time of year. That convinced me as it leapt like a cat, but didn't really look like one.
Hope its still alive❤
They look so cute as pups
Bro, it is called a Tasmanian Tiger confused right now and there are still some left. There’s been sightings around Australia by farmers. No Photos though, sadly
Idk why but every time I get reminded of the Thylacine going extinct I get in my feels 😂
I would be soooooo happy of this cool animal was ever found alive again.
Ua Aussies have been saying they are still alive for a while now. There is also a big black cat that honesty looks like a panther. Ive seen pictures taken on my neighbors trail cam. Its seen all over, but since the fires here in Australia it hasn't been seen since.
It's sad to even believe how much damage we as human done to nature😢
Now to see him discover another "extinct" animal.
My all time favorite animal!!!!!
I’m from Australia and I’d love to come
With him
On this mission to find it !
Wow amazing old footage there
Please continue this, i did a school project on the tasmanian tiger, im always facsinated by them.
“Life will find a way “ says the Chaotitian !
Farmers in Tasmania have claimed that they are still around in the high country
Anyone seen Forests latest Thylacine content? It is INSANE! Blatant pics of something you could never mistake for anything but a Thylacine! Like from 4/5 feet away. There’s even eye shine from the lights flashing on its face. If real- and they do look very real for the most part with the exception of maybe one or two not being totally convincing. If real these pics are the biggest species rediscovery of all time.
Marsupials are some of my favorite animals
Never in my life heard them be called that 😮 Tasmanian tiger
Australia is a big continent and people mostly live on the coast, more than 90% of their population. So it’s highly probable it still exists where humans aren’t.
I’d love for him to find this one out of any of the others.
That was heart Breaking
Forrest in confident u will find living proof . U are amazing.
The clip or the "last" thylacine is sad man imagine all your homies getting murked and then they throw your ass in a cage
