i m thinking of buying an alfa romeo giulietta with tct .I know that they re a bit problematic but with good maintenance and checks from time to time it is that bad ?
@@urthetraveler370 I have no experience of TCT but most of the reviews I’ve read seem to prefer the simpler 6 speed manual box. I have had no problems since I bought my manual Giulietta new in 2018 . Alfa stopped making the car in 2018 so most TCT cars will be relatively high mileage.
A greatn many things are easier, when you have a ramp. Well worth the price of a days hire, if you have a service like that available to you. Id go as far as to say, if youre a serious 'tinkerer', spend the £1000 and get a hydrolic lifter, if you have the room
Long term would it not be better to spend the money saved by doing the job yourself by buying Porsche parts rather than alternatives thereby saving yourself the need of having to replace them again sooner rather than later, or is this a false concept?
@@ItaliaAutos Oh ! I didn’t realise it was such a low mileage. How long do you think the suspension components will last on my 2018 Guilietta which I have owned since new for 70,000 Km ( in France) ?
@@ItaliaAutos Thanks, they’re not many Alfa specialists in Brittany and the main agents want to sell you a Fiat, Abarth, Alfa and Jeep which will be alright when you want to buy a Stellantis electric vehicle!
Life experience tells me that, in many, if not m9st cases, despite advertised ramblings, parts are made to the lowest bidder. There'll be many occasions that's arts are made in the same factory and stamped appropriately, depending on customer requirements!
