    People talk about how crowded Japan is, but in many of your walks in cities there are wide spaces where there are few people. Needed a good calming walk tonight. Ths was spot-on. Thanks.

    Really enjoyed the walk in the rain under the cloak of darkness. Thank you for getting a drenching so we could enjoy this evening walk amongst the bijoux of city lights.

    Beautiful murals from 26:30 to 30:04. Beautiful idea to put them there.
    So many videos from Japan for the last few weeks have rain! Is this unusual or is this the rainy season there?
    Lucky for us, Rambalac does not fear rain! Thank you for another great evening walk.

    Thanks for all of these videos! As a broke man, it'll be a while before I get to see some of these things in person. These are exactly the types of walks I love to do. Doing good work here!

    here in my small town of North Africa
    I have the feeling of wanting to know all the people who parade in the field of the camera: who are they ... where do they come from and where do they go
    are these videos intimate?
    if the eyes are more than satisfied ...
    the ears on the other hand imagine a lot of noises and sounds as if one sought to fill a void which in reality does not exist
    there is a sense of purity that recalls the cleanliness of the streets
    while the cleanliness of the streets reminds us of the uselessness of the pollution to prove that we are rich ... powerful ... developed ...
    by definition consumer

    The fine dots of moisture lends an artistic and moody flair to this clip. I did not see any evidence of an umbrella, but did you have one? Also, the camera looks slightly elevated; was the Beholder on the end of a monopod? Thanks Rambalac. Walking in Japan can only be surpassed by walks in Japan, in the evening, and in the rain!

    • @Rambalac
      @Rambalac  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +stan , yes, always put it on monopod for flexibility. When needed I can quickly make it 1.8m long for over crowd views, as crowd in Japan is very common everywhere.

      can you film the bus stop at first and then the entrance? I want to see the environment a little bit. It would be also cool when you go through this long forrest in the direction of mount fuji. There are many yureis maybe we catch some on the earphone! But at first I want to see the true yukai, how it is and stays. Film everything dont cut cause I wanna see the details whats maybe on the ground and where the ropes are. Maybe you can go not the main path but other paths where the people dont go. Go deep as you can,please :) ....are you japanese?

    Anybody on here that I could ask questions on film making? Like fram rates quality, white balance all that stuff. I am just getting into film making and there are soooooo many variables to mix around it seems like a monstrous task. And want to get it mostly right the first time. Also downloaded the free Davinci resolve which is another level of complexity

    • @Rambalac
      @Rambalac  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I cannot help with film making as I'm not one of them. I even don't edit my videos except cutting it in camera as it's fastest way. Also I think it's impossible to do everything right first time or even 100th time, there are always things you cannot control.

      Ramblanc There is a very nice Japanese garden near the Yokoamicho temple, but maybe it was too late and already closed. If you walk in the back alleys of the main streets leading to the Sumida river there are lots of restaurants (many serving chanko nabe) and it is possible to spot sumo wrestlers. Moreover if you walked on the otherside of the river (the right, you took the left and went on left) as soon as you cross it you spot the Yanagibashi and there are many yakatabune. Your video was nice but it didn't show, in my opinion, the heart of Ryogoku.I lived there 2 years and I left my heart there.By the way the movie Ju-on starts with a scene filmed on Yanagibashi.At the JR station Noren is also a nice place to film.I made a similar video in Ryogoku but divided it in several parts. I coudn't film the Japanese garden cause it was closed due to some works. These remarks are not to ment to diminuish your beautiful video (moreover I love rain), please take no offense.
