I remember watching this. She was spot on. How many doctors are out there like him passing judgment on fellow doctors when they killed someone themselves because of superior attitude?
Derek's death is not one of the most but the most exasperating deaths in the show. He knew what the doctors had to do but he couldn't speak and they killed him due to negligence.
Yeah the writer or producer idk her name but she and him didn’t get a long and she killed him in not like a brutal gruesome way but a terrifying realistic way.
It was so sad to see Derek locked in that state diagnosing and making recommendations as the best neurosurgeon who had saved countless people, but he couldn't advocate for himself. He literally watched them kill him out of negligence and he couldn't do anything about it! It was very sad!

Ironically this man dies of a brain hemorrhage caused by an aneurysm it's the same way Derek Shepherd died... Derek's death was completely preventable had they only done Burr holes and a head CT.
@@lizmullaney305 Well yes, but his official cause of death was a brain aneurysm and hemorrhaging directly correlated to getting hit by the truck. When the doctor who neglected him as a patient. Died of an aneurysm it was in the same area and officially was the same cause of death as Derek Shepherd.
I remember this tragic scene! I wasn’t expecting them to write Patrick Dempsey out of the series. I was absolutely shocked & devastated when he “died”.💔✝️
They way she talked to him, which he rightfully deserved. No dr. Is born perfect alot make mistakes while growing and maturing. But, she scolded him and it reminded me of of my grandma. I was waiting on the woodspoon or whatever was in reach to come out and start flying.
She's right. So derek her husband got into a car accident and ended up at a hospital. I believed he had a head laceration and the resident that night pushed the surgeon to get him a head CT, but he refused. Died of a brain bleed i think and the neurosurgeon got called late to save derek.
She is such a courageous woman in this video! Yes, there are some bad and uncaring Physicians out there. My mother never smoke nor drink, but died of lung cancer. A young doctor, Dr. Grossman, at the hospital could not drain much of the fluids out of my mother’s lung because the plastic tubes were leaking and displaced. Dr. Grossman tried to patch the broken drainage tubes several times with Scotch Tape and failed badly because of the wetness of water adhered on the tubes. So, he hopelessly stopped the entire procedure and did not even bother to continue to complete his task. I was in the treatment room with Dr. Grossman and my mother, and I saw his indifferent and careless work! Since I had so much respect for all doctors and their knowledge, I still regret for not speaking up to Dr. Grossman with what I saw with my own eyes that day. I understood no matter how good or bad a job Dr. Grossman did, my mother was dying anyway! However, if Dr. Grossman had done his duty with compassion, this could have helped and eased my mother’s suffering and prolonged her life a little bit longer.
Yes so true, my own son was in a coma for 10 days with a really bad prognosis after an accident at work. You guys don't have an idea about the workload of a medical staff and still want to state a vaild opinion about it is just as important as a stray dog peeing in street.

They’re a medical technique where small holes are drilled into the skull to alleviate severe intracranial pressure (ICP) in head trauma cases - it can be the difference between permanent damage and normal brain function, or even life and death … Meredith’s ire is drawn from the fact she was taught this technique in her earliest days of her career and as the attending of a major intrusive vehicle trauma case, Chump Face should have known better

Not that the guy should've never been anywhere near a place where he gets to judge another physician- but seriously- Meredith does this random shit over and over. When she was being investigated about her role in the LVAD fiasco, she confronted Richard with his affair with Ellis. She's under investigation for Insurance Fraud, and conveniently, the guy responsible for Derek's death because of his negligence is on the jury.
