Fun Fact! For the big reunion scene, the crew purposefully kept the animal stars apart from each other for a brief period. The part where they ran towards each other was 100% genuine
Even watching other people watch this film makes me cry. My Mum bought me this for xmas 1993 and i was only 5 it is one of my first xmas memories. I cherish this movie so much it's really special to me and I love watching other people watch it and I love it gets the appreciation it deserves.
This movie is one one of my absolute favorites. Any story that both adults and kids can enjoy together is wonderful. I always get teary eyed with films like this, in a great way of course ❤
I remember watching this movie with a friend and her Mom when we were both kids. We were all weeping our eyes out at that ending scene. I have loved this movie my whole life. The mark of a great movie is one that can make you laugh and cry throughout. I've always loved talking animal movies. This one is so beautiful.
Doesn't happen so much there, it's more the things Shadow says, his instinctive loyalty, and how reverently he speaks of it, which just conjures the best memories of every dog you've ever known. That stuff never hit me as a kid, but as an adult, it absolutely ruins me.
I love this movie (and "Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco") so much! I laugh and cry whenever I watch it. I was 9 years old when I saw it for the first time and then I watched it again and again on repeat (rewind and play again on VHS). Watching Shadow be the wise dog he was in the movie made me want to own a Golden Retriever, but I couldn't get a dog until I was 17. Then I got my first dog. I never wanted another breed of dog so me and my family got Lucas (who was a Golden Retriever) and he was an amazing dog. Now I've got an other Golden Retriever named Nemo and he's my best friend. I'm thankful for this movie that showed me how wonderful dogs (and cats) can be.🐾❤ This movie still holds up to this day. I watched the dubbed Swedish version when I was a kid and when I was older I watched it without the dub and it was fun both ways but now those Swedish voices make me cringe. 😂
I'm glad you guys finally got to react to this. I hope you guys would consider the sequel somewhere down the road. Also Linda Woolverton was the writer I think for this film. She was also the writer for the animated Beauty and the Beast and the both the live-action Maleficent (which I hope you will watch one day.).
I once saw this on Disney plus. It truly is a great lil family film. This is a family film essentially done right. The humour not obnoxious, the sad moments are earned and though it is formulaic, still, like the first AIR BUD movie, its heart is certainly in the right place to keep things refreshing. It's overall a nicely done film for the whole family to enjoy. This film would've worked on me perfectly had I seen this back then on like VHS or so. I was a 90s kid afterall and definitely seen films like AIR BUD, MONKEY TROUBLE and FREE WILLY back in the day.
Fun Fact: this was a true story! The author of the book actually had 2 dogs and a cat that did the same thing: they ran after her when she left on a long trip and made it back to her ❤❤
Great reaction! I cry every time watching the end scene always have since I first watched it as a kid! Would you ever consider reacting the the sequel to this called homeward bound II: Lost In San Francisco please I'd love it if you did! Would also love a reaction to A dogs purpose and its sequel A Dogs Journey please!
@JosiahPacheco-tj1or no. There's the original before Sassy, Chance, and Shadow, there is the original and then there was the Remake and then they made one more so there is three.
Another great animal adventure story is Two Brothers (tiger movie) it has an 80% rating on rotten tomatoes. It’s a masterpiece. Id love for you to watch it.
Hi! Thanks for your request! We actually did watch Spirited Away and that's available on our Patreon as a FULL UNCUT Reaction! Unfortunately, our TH-cam version was taken down by Studio Ghibli and they gave us a strike 😓 We enjoyed the movie though!
Hi Bob! Nope! Our Walking Dead Reaction videos premiere every Monday and Wednesday! We provide a weekly video schedule on our Community Page too if that helps! Thanks for being a fan!
No matter how many times I see this movie, that ending always makes me cry happy tears

I'm so happy you saw this! Thank you so much!
This is one of my favorite remakes. I have both this and the original Homeward Bound movies on VHS. Nice reactions!
That's great! We love this movie so much! Thanks for watching and for being a fan! 💙
"Whoa! Gopher hole." I hear that was a happy accident. It was unintended, yet fit clumsy Chance.

If you don’t cry during the end scene, there’s something wrong with you.
Man I cry just THINKING about it

God bless you Grandma🥲
I haven't seen that in years

I knew you’d love this.
This will always be a favorite of mine. If you haven't seen "Milo and Otis", you would probably love that one as well.

Ladies and gentlemen... Don Ameche and Frances Langford in Philip Rapp's creation --- The Bickersons
I made my grandma watch this with me so many times as a child
Robert Hays (was in Airplane! among other roles) playing Bob Seaver in this surprised me.

Live action animal movies, are always special.
Now that you've seen the remake, would love to see your reaction to the original.
Take care.😊

I love all 3 movies. The Original Incredible journey before this one was created. But all 3 movies are worth watching.
They Only made 2

I loved this movie so much that I almost ran away as a kid, with the idea that animals would find me
Several scenes wrecked me as a kid seeing it the first time because I thought sassy died 😭
Them using real animal that were dubbed over led to some great improv's.
Pretty please react to spirited away it's such a good animated film

Awesome reaction/ can you please watch a movie called THE BIG YEAR.
Did you give up on The Walking Dead?

This movie came out when I was two and 31 years later it still makes me tear up at the end.🥲
