I love y’all, and I appreciate all y’all do! When it comes to Dave Ramsey, I think y’all may have a misrepresentation of what he does. I am not sure if y’all have taken any of his classes, but from what I have gathered he is aiming at the average working American, and how to get them out of consumer debt. If you have debt because of real estate and the real estate is helping you pay off the debt you have, and bring income and wealth to your family then that is good. But if your debt (like most Americans) is loans for cars, college debt, credit card debt from buying things that don’t generate debt, it is bad! I know there are nuances to debt, and it can be a tool to help propel you forward, but most Americans aren’t in that type of debt.
