    Union Bindings are top notch! The Burton Cartels are a sweet option as well.

    I’d like a binding that’s stiff enough for all mountain but still invites playfulness to play around. Would you do the strata or cartel x?

    I have the union force and the ultra. I just started riding and I rode the union force first and for my first season. The force is Def a great starter binding. The ultra not gonna lie I only rode those bindings 1 session I can definitely say they are better then the force just off the first ride very light and very stiff but not but perfect. Union bindings the Nike Jordan's of snowboarding hands down but the ultra bindings are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

      Similar story, got the union force and didn't mind them, but I had a pressure point I couldn't get rid of for the season, thought it was my boots, transitioned over to A9's and the Union Ultra, and wow, big difference for me, just the ability to go from edge to edge on the Ultra (And A9's) was night and day. I will say the Union Ultra's are my favorite, they say it's a freestyle, but it has all mountain traits from what I can feel and the reviews I read.

    Union has 3 out of 5?! When I rode in the 90s I rode a bit of everything, and Burton was always head and shoulders above anything else. It was simply a No brainer back then when buying, and it’s hard for me to unthink that now.

    The forward lean adjustment mechanism of Falcor is what I had on the Union Atlas model 2018/2019. This is not ideal. Riders must be careful because this thing loosens and you end up without it. NO matter that Union is a great binding brand and now I have Strata with a small disc which is a preferable combination for me.

    What would you reccomend for a "Yes Dicey 2020-2021" New Force, Ultra or Strata or maybe other company reccomendation. I am mainly riding on groomed slopes. My level is beginner-intermediate, and I have 110 kg.

    im using the force classics on my forum 002 love those bindings but tried the falcors on the t.rippah idk if i like them they're more stiff than I thought they'd be might switch em out btw nice brushie ya gotta throw on some coconut oil or whatever else works good on binding rash : )

    Is there a big difference between the cartel X Re:Flex and the est’s (I’d need the est cause I have a burton board).

    • @richietseng5864
      @richietseng5864 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ests have more board feel but in my opinion its better to just go with the reflex. Ive rode burtons as my last 2 boards and having ests just forces you to stick with burton. was gonna switch to nitro before this season started but its been pushed back since im forced to get different bindings (probably still burton but now reflex)

    • @kevinnimick3232

      I definitely dig NOW bindings too. It's tech we see in all the Jones bindings, and his endorsement alone, speaks to the amazingness & legitimacy of the bindings. NOW pivot / "skate" tech is pretty wild engineering, and delivers a cool, and, in my opinion, unique but only subtly differentiated ride compared to every other solid plate baseplate in the market. With the complexity of its design, they assuredly bump up in price. Outlier technology can make some customers less assured, but people who are intrigued by what makes NOW different, are often pretty stoked on the experience they deliver.

    Ultra or new force for a mind expander?thanks

    • @kevinnimick3232
      @kevinnimick3232 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Given the surfy ride of the mind expander, the Ultra would provide an equally surfier feel out of the 2. But if you'd like a minorly more responsive ride, or if you are a heavier person, the force will deliver. In this particular utility, either will put a big grin on your face.

    • @kevinnimick3232

      Made a note about NOW tech above. Definitely a rad tech, but the market still seems to see it, and shy away from it. Overall, I find it almost too subtle a differentiator, given the associated cost bump, and then comparisons to other bindings in the market. Concerning RIDE bindings, we definitely dig them! Aluminum & composite offerings are amazing for specific kinds of riders. Not much else in the industry deliver the kind of response you get from their aluminum bindings. The lack of forgiveness can be a little harsh on people who flex their boards a lot though, since there's zero give. That's why they brought the composite line into existence. They ride pretty awesomely. I feel like some of the models are surprisingly heavy & imbalanced (heavier baseplates) than other bindings in the market, but on a scale, compare similarly to other brands. Their revamped / more niche selection is just one that's starting to mature in the market, compared to our top picks.

    No Nidecker??? Failed

    • @kevinnimick3232
      @kevinnimick3232 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We don't carry Nidecker products. They are solid and creating some wild new convenience systems for consideration. But only the market will tell how some of their new tech & engineering will be received / perform. They are siblings to FLOW binding systems, which are longstanding rulers of the convenience binding system market. They definitely have their place & utility in the market, but have a different consideration approach to the balance of convenience & performance. The market has spoken, and most other systems deliver more performance for less cost.
