Bradley and Joseph headed north at the end of their guide season to do one of their favorite fishing activities, swinging for steelhead. We had a few days to fish ourselves before the annual Clearwater Spey Gathering at the US-12 Lenore Rest Area was held on September 30th, hosted by the Red Shed, Fly Project, and House of Fly. For the first time in years, the event was back to highlight everything spey casting and angling. With six different presentations from the world’s greatest casters and anglers tying anadromous flies like pros, it was an event not to miss. We had a fantastic time there meeting everyone and learning from the true OG's from this industry. They have all the praise as we would not be on the water without their masterminds behind creating such innovative spey products, casting methods, and other swinging techniques.
We hope to see you all at the 2024 Spey Clave! And of course, we hope you enjoyed this video.

Nothing like the swinging for steelhead. The patience, perseverance, and excitement when it all come together. I appreciate the passion you guys have for the pursuit. Keep it up! The stoke lives on.
Yeah boys!
Man, it's unreal the 42incher or whatever the new catch and release record from the clearwater this past fall was. Legendary it was on a spey rod too!!! Such a beast
Nice tribute to "The Greatest Fish That Swims," fellas. Great job of generating, and maintaining, interest in swinging flys. See you there next year!

Guys at the Fly Project need to start using American made blanks if they want to start charging $700 for a rod. $700 for a Chinese or Korean blank?
what band was playing in the first clip of fishing...krhruangbin?
Nothing like Idaho Steel, they are big and pist
Out of curiosity, why are you guys cackhanding all your casts?
You guys get your Clearwater 40” yet?
38" is my best on the fly... still swinging for that 20lbr 40incher 🤘
Hey dude, what sunglasses do you wear?
Joe uses costa yellow low lights and Bradley wears smith low light yellow lens with the redding frame
I used to drop in and see Poppy all the time. Just doesn’t fish like it used too.
You have the fly size wrong, you want the smaller shit in low light and larger during the day
you really wear earbuds and listen to rock while out there in nature?
I love music, but that's kind of weak for sure... 😅 I get like radio in a boat, but completely tuning out. That's different lol
Guess it was too big lol!
