honestly, graphic looks kinda better in IU
a side by side comparaison would be pretty cool,
imo TS has better looking car models in some areas and some look better in iu from the AC copies
everything else just looks better in iu, TS wont look good and neither will iu but iu has a nice style
the thing is, all the ui assetts are ripped of from assetto corsa mods, so its basically assetto corsa with simcade physics, but to me overall ui is better, why? cause its more initial D , but since i said assets are from assetto mods, they cant simply pack that & sell it , touge shakai is fun tho, just to early access, i think with time will be like fine wine
i was really hoping that TS would have more options for people who arent as interested in the full drift racing aspect and wanted more grip racing. maybe i'm the small percent of people who dislike the big drifts, but grip style imo just looks and feels better.
I've found that gripping can often be faster depending on the car, I think both are pretty valid tbf
I feel like the whole point of TS and Initial Unity is to be a drift racing game. It’s to give a simcade and initial d feel to it. Grip is only meant for high power cars in this game
There's a place for big angle drifting but doing it every corner kills the action for me, and it's just ridiculous
@@unlimitedquickworks7387 it’s rare to see it in racing though
And also it allows for more driving styles cos usually everyone is limited to the racing line with grip
TS is a big step up in almost every aspect other than arguably the two most important ones, handling and tracks. First off how can you not have places like Akagi and Irohazaka in a touge game? Yeah I know the assets used in IU are not theirs so they can't use those. They've already published their new version of Tsutshisaka so I guess we'll get the others too but I don't quite get why not start with the most iconic and beloved ones first. Then for the handling, I feel like the drift starts more suddenly and aggressively in TS which can be good in some situations but leads to a bit of a twitchy behavior overall. In IU it's a bit more gradual and controllable and I like that a bit better. I don't even know how to describe it, the IU handling makes me confident, makes me feel like I can push, while in TS I feel like I'm walking on eggshells.
Wheels in Touge Shakai looks MUCH better. And car in overall
Sadly it is made by the same people.
Sadly?
Tbh I see why he said sadly. On controller Initial Unity was way better. Touge Shakai at least in my opinion feels like a massive downgrade in terms of map design and handling
