Cries in bad speed management
cries in keyboard
Cries in trying to do *inner wheel lift*
cries because I can't even run the game
cries in bad braking
cries in spinning
That double turn/corner how-to really helps man, thanks Noise!
its also called inertia drift
@@paavokar Aaaah that's it, always struggles with that oc XD
Yes, this is the future Vegetable Studio of Initial Unity.
my blood started using racing line after this thanks
this game is what tought me that being an arcade racer doesn't mean it's easier than a sim
Yeah, it depends on which game you're playing. Even the easiest arcade racing game is gonna require you to have some skill to show up on a leaderboard.
very well said.
that's the fun thing about simcades. they're so easy yet people find such mind-boggling ways to push times to their limits.
easy to learn, hard to master.
This actually helped me a lot but there is still some mistakes I get but it gets improved
Good explanations
Thanks, learned a lot since the last racing game I played was NFS most wanted 2012 and it was years ago. I wouldn't exactly group asphalt 9 in this one since it has different mechanics than nfs and gran turismo. Was playing using a steering wheel and I found the controls a bit weird. The steering wheel was something I used back on the ps2 days, and I find steering now a bit harder since ps2 racing games have a sensitive steering where even if you only steer a little, it turns hard. Also, I found the automatic counter steer a bit hard. This definitely helps though since I don't know the timing of when to start the drift.
nice. A lot of techniques can be transferred over from sim racing games to here (though to a lesser degree since this is an arcade-based game), which Is what I found after playing this game.
yep, most stuff to get advantages on sim racers are way more simple than this, not too stylish.
@@f1ku.productions i want to change the handbrake to R joy down, and upgear to xbox A button, but no setting or any config can change
@@MeariBamu tried using a third party app to make your computer recognise r joy down as a key input instead of gyro so that you can input it onto the key bind ?
this video helped a ton man :)
thanks, im happy to hear that
thanks i learned how to turn an fwd car into a rwd car by drifting in reverse
Thanks, even tho I don't got initial unity, I can apply this to my games.
Using Casiopeia as the intro was perfect
i knew it had to be something special, casiopea is so stupidly underrated it hurts
I honestly don't feel like I can ever go to gold. So I just practice on making my drift look as positive as possible
am i the only one that shifts down/up when taking slight corners? its just something that I learned from nfs underground😆
damn, buddy, i do that too))
Thanks
4:34 what is the music called?
Thanks Ryosuke, I will learn how to drive better!
1:39 Song name?
touge run
Ty
i thought that this only saves a few seconds at most , and then i go on the leaderboards to see some guy 15-20 seconds faster than me.
Damn Nice.
how i convert the replay to put in youtube?
cries i still can't drive
How about gearing part? I heard from specialist that its better to start on 2nd gear in AE86 and take corners on 3rd. Mabe i did not understand him?
I closed all available maps on gold with R32. Using keyboard and auto transmission. I'm done with the game until official release.
i find the r32 the easyest to handle with keyboard too. you use manual? man you really got proficient, i can't imagine how your hands works at irohazaka with a r32
@@AaaBbb-ff1pn Auto. Irohazaka is the hardest on R32 for me.
P.S. Past me was wrong. 4/8 Specialist, 4/8 Platinum.
one thing i hope thay fix is slide and tire grip noticed inside of apex has a more traction then center and out side of the road acts odd its almost on point but got rubber band feeling at apex and the min u get slightly out side inner line its like grip drops off hard even tho line is good its like its trying to recreate arcade style feel but wants it to be like a simulator it whould be nice if it relplicated the arcade driving style also noticed gard rail clipping car goes in to a dead stop its realy anoying even if u tap rail soft
Having only played Arcade Stage 6-Zero, plus a lot of Jintei's VRChat maps, this game is so astoundingly difficult and fun. I only wish we could mondulate the throttle/brake sensitvity. Question though, do you have a specific wheel sensitivty or do you change it based on the course and the car?
i don't use a wheel, the best input device in my opinion (and all the pros) is the controller. with that you can use delicate control over the throttle and brakes.
@@f1ku.productions would a ps4 controller work
Y can hear a voice shouting Hell Yeah Baby! On that he'll yeah baby part is it just me
Could someone tell what music he used in this video ?
Sure, it's Odyssey ft. Jessa - Seraphim
would pendulum turn on a hairpin be faster than braking into it? i usually do it and it requires no countersteering
you mean a scandinavian flick?
@@f1ku.productions nah he meant a Germanian 360 lol
Do you use keyboard or controller/game pad? Thanks
gamepad, helps with throttle control and delicate steering inputs.
yo whats the song name during the professional drift segment, that was fire
myrone - touge run
@@f1ku.productions thanks man great vid btw
Odyssey ft. Jessa - Seraphim
man do you use controller/gamepad or keyboard? because i played this on keyboard and its extremly hard or i didn't get the mechanics of the game right. i played like dirt rally gran turismo, forza horizon and motosport for a lot of years, all the games which have "pretty hard to understand" mechanics but when i played this game i said insantly that this is the hardest racing game ive ever played.
DEFINITLY use a controller, racing games can be optimized to be used on keyboard, but using a controller will always be better. Simply because you actually have an axis and can make slight movements and corrections, where as a keyboard you can only make a single keypress. For example you can turn your wheels 10 percent to the right with a controller, but with a keyboard you would always either have to steer 100 percent to the right or left, or have 100 percent on the gas and brakes
@@zinczs8049 i know bro all that i play racing games my whole life on a keyboard, but tbh i got specialist role playin on keyboard. i was never so in to it to buy a controller for a racing game but imagining me playin on it, it would not be natural for me just because of countless hours playin on keyboard. tnx for advices i appreciate'em, and i'm still sayin that this is the NUMBER ONE hardest racing game i've ever played seriously
@@driver5oyou are right, playing with the keyboard put it in a whole different world. i struggle to much to understand the physics and how to handle it (it's the opposite of a sim racing). multitapping the keyboard is a mess, just adding the manual shifting and handbrake (irohazaka) make it almost a circus act.
@@AaaBbb-ff1pn the game fell off big time. i still go back to it sometimes to play 86 on akina but now i am playing asseto corsa with keyboard and mouse. and i still say that this is the hardest racing game i played. i am waiting for a new wrc to try but i think that just bcs of mechanics of inital unity it will be easier. mechanics are fucked up but fun when you get a hang of it. my point where i drasticly improved is when i learnt to control angle of the drift with tapping brakes. when you learn that, the sky is the limit really.
@@driver5o you are right... i was running on akina like a normal simulator... go slow massive understeer. drift and press brake to slow down to regain grip, straight into the barrier.... once time in a series of long bends in myogi i open the throttle and.... holy cow it grip so much! keep tap the brake... and the car rotate like a charme, once reach the right angle, full wide open throttle. if you let the throttle it will go straight out, it take a lot to overcome the istinct to tap the throttle
ah yes my pc cant run this gaem
what steering sens do you use?
maximum, it helps once you get used to making quick corrections.
@@f1ku.productions Thanks for the quick response. Btw hate to be that guy but what is in your opinion the best universal car to drive in every map and get better at the game?
