You talk about confusion when there isnt anything more confusing and frustrating than not knowing the skill damage multiplier. Something so huge and that takes such a big impact on game decisions, is hidden, its sad not knowing if that champion you just got is good enough to level it up
I agree, so many champions have similar attack but way diff damage output. Also WTF is with damage increases as Hp increase skills? My Vrask got nearly 50k HP and crits for 7k lol I have other champions with a rather average 2200 attack AoE critting everybody for 25-30k
@@Altavilla22Mike yes, i also have a vraks and about 4.5k basic crits with 30k HP aprox, the developers doesnt give a fuck about anything related on getting less money (If you waste resources to upgrade a champ to see if its viable, they are basically getting what they want) so maybe with those two values you can get the multiplier
if the dmg multipliers were visable, then we would all just use the highest multiplier heros and never use any other ones, it would be kinda boring, dont u think?
It would be great to see the skill multipliers in game. But I feel like they may be withholding them with the thought process that people will spend more time grinding with every hero to see which is truly the strongest

What kills me is not seeing any numbers, constantly feels like I'm gearing blindly and hoping what I changed is better. Something I am still confused about is, e.g. Vrasks spells says damage based on HP, which is what I stacked, but turns out in game that his attack damage is not affected by HP. What does it mean? Is the code wrong by not multiplying by HP or is the Description wrong by saying 'damage based on HP' when it's not

not meaningless.. definitely very diffuclt - but if you keep all variables constant, it can be solved. For the average player, they have no interest and/or intellectual capability of understanding criticals, damage reduction, etc, so I understand why all of it is so obscure. The average player doesn't even probably understand everything that's literally shown in the game (town hall bonuses, set bonus affect base stats only, etc.)

there's not too much to farming, but im sure they will eventually make a video on it, theres already loads about it on the forum youtbe and discord, but ill sum it up for you and lemmi know if u have questions so the idea of farming is that you have one hero that can solo finish the highest stage possible (preferably chapter 12 stage 6) when leveling up champions and brutal level when farming for 5* gear the reason for farming is to farm sliver, gear and level up champions which you will sacrefice to rank up other champions there are two types of farmers speed farmers life steal farmers speed farmers are the fastest farmers out there, top 2 are ''rae'' and ''bellower'' they can potantially clear around 9 seconds HOWEVER gearing them is the hardest thing, you need 115% c rate (100% for bellower) and as much atk and crit dmg as you can possibly find/get vampirism/vamp/life steal farmers are much more forgiving and way easier early on your starter champions will do a notable vamp farmer which is ''farmable'' is executioner i hope this helped, (moderator opheliaa1)

I measured it on my big TV, data being (290 DEF 7.3 cm, 655 DEF 16.5 CM LAST POINT BEING 37.8 CM). Using the average proportion, i measured 45% DR to be at 1501 DEF. It's probably 1500, these guys seem to use round numbers.
@@RaidShadowLegends easier said than done when the RNG for leveling gear to 16 is very poor it costs 100's of millions in silver for the "Trial and error" if you made it less costly to swap gear and removed and/or sped up the leveling of gear like raise the cost of silver needed to increase the gear to level 16 but with a guaranteed level up say like 3 million silver to level 5* artifact from 15 to 16 and 6* artifact cost maybe 4 million that might be to high im just giving examples. then i would say the trial and error would be more effective but i dont like trying to guess what gear and stats are needed for 1 champion when it costs 100k to swap 1 artifact and there is 6 total so 600k plus the cost of leveling each individual artifact to 16 hoping to get the right rolls on substats only to find out that you need to rinse and repeat
Can we get the crash bug fixed! Tired of losing clan boss keys and energy because the game crashed. Also if you take a call or text message you will also lose clan boss keys if you were in the middle of the fight.
How do you know what the multiplier is for a given skill? I'd guess that a champion like the legendary Turvold has a higher multiplier on his each of his damage skills than a champion like the two star Outlaw Monk for example. Right? Where do we see that multiplier so we know what they are? Thanks :)

The problem is DEF champs has much more value than ATK champs. For DEF champs we need to increase only 1 stat: it`s DEF itself that give them survivability and DMG (cuz most of their skills based on DEF) they dont need ATK for DMG at all. For ATK champs we need boost 2 stats: ATK for increase DMG & DEF for more survivability. So that is disbalance.
Not entirely accurate. While the basic idea is correct in reality any champion that does not scale with ATK whatsoever will have a smaller effective stat pool that will increase their effectiveness. Think how weapon artifacts will always have ATK as their main stat, and subsequently any random ATK substat on your gear. All of that ATK is 100% useless for that champ. Now whether or not this decrease in actual total relevant stats is enough to counterbalance their need of focusing on stacking fewer stats is unclear.

@@yuufelis4429 Funnily enough that's kind of it right there, in theory the champs with no ATK scaling should suffer the most from the smaller relevant stat pool, while the ones scaling with ATK for their damage portion wouldn't as much since they can get use out of both ATK and DEF, but what we end up seeing is that the pure DEF monsters can still dish out massive damage relative to their very high mitigation while partial ATK scalers like Valkyrie for instance, appear to sacrifice quite a bit more of their offensive throughput. I did say "whether or not this decrease in actual total relevant stats is enough to counterbalance their need of focusing on stacking fewer stats is unclear" but I will concede that it's not really all that unclear, but that it quite evidently is not enough of a downside as it is currently. It should technically be rather easy to tone down that issue by simply lowering the damage multiplier for DEF on the damage skills of pure DEF scalers, the fact that we can't see what the multipliers are to begin with notwithstanding.

@@yuufelis4429 Sadly judging by the rate at which they make gameplay relevant updates or tweaks I wouldn't hold my breath. The one thing I would want them to do more than absolutely anything else is to simply make tooltips useful. Tell us what the multipliers for skills are, tell us how much mitigation the DEF that our champions have is and so on; give us the information that we need in order to make a proper decision when it comes to what we do with our champs. Most of us don't have the time or money to sink into this game in order to get past the cryptic nature of how its systems work. Take all of the resources that go into making these largely uninformative videos and put them into more useful data within the game. Every time one of these videos pop up I groan because I know all they are is a basic breakdown of basic information for people who have no understanding of how RPG mechanics work. Tutorials for the noobies are fine, but all of this information is already in the game. No need to make a video where you read them out again and get to a point where you might actually tell/show us something genuinely useful only to turn around and say "oh but graphs are boring". Not to mention that they come out weeks apart. That got a bit ranty, but the idea is that this approach that they take when it comes to what/how they convey to their playerbase kind of shows what/who it is that they are putting their focus on and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be refining the systems or the way in which those systems are presented to the players.
King Fisher Maan Depends on the champ and what your intention for them is. Also the sets. 4 piece sets of course mean you should use the other two slots for a two-piece set, and almost none of the recommendations are those.
I think all the recommended sets are with basic armor you can get from the first 3-4 levels. You might get better effects with higher level sets but look at what the recommended sets emphasize like atk, def, etc and use that as a guide for your specialty sets.
This is certainly better than FFBE official channel offering even less information and condemning outside sources. This channel even praises them. But I did like this video I still think it could have been more enlightening but they said they’ll bring out future vids to help with that. I think so far this company seems more supportive to their players than Gumi with their game. I’m switching between Raid and FFBE and thankfully it’s helping me loosen the hold the later has on me.

I have zavia and on a regular basis her block revive doesnt work. Could you explain if I misunderstand how the those killed with this attack cannot be revived is suppose to work?

What is most frustrating is the “TIE” in Arena battles. It’s happening more and more and the Champions cannot kill each other because of the healing abilities each has and it goes on and on and on. The only option is to quit which means you end up losing the match. It’s happened 10 times this week for me and I’m very angry and frustrated. After 10 minutes if no winner is obvious, then the match should be resolved as a draw, with nobody losing, Dave

Can you, pleas Raid give us formula of graph for those thing, you said they are boring, but they give us lots of data to work with to come with strategy and optimitazion, and we'll be able to share them it will be in my opinion be a huge ad, indeed it will increase the discussion of community and it may give to some people the desire to play Raid. i got bellower and tallia from free monthly sacred and void its very f2p friendly, and the resource limit forces you to plan and focus your grind , so that in 6 months/ 1 year you can be top tier

Hi I noticed my Champion Ignaticious 3rd skill “Turn to ash” burn does not burn the Clan boss. Instead the each time I use the 2nd skill “battle shout” when the wave hits the boss there is a brief burn hp animation but quickly disappears.
I noticed that the words with the pictures do not really agree. Somewhere unfinished, somewhere unsaid. Is there a wikipedia on the game or, as usual, you need to think of everything yourself?
Someone needs to reposition some of the weapon positions in hand, they look off and break immersion, and certain models that are just recolors could be altered slightly to make them less clonelike. Love the game though, I'm hooked on it!

285 655 Is the dmg only reduced in 15% levels or is it incremental? For example, 655 is 30% as stated and 285 is 15%. Does it scale along of the range or is it set? Will 400 def be 15% or something more but less than 30%.
Is the damage multiplier in the skill? For example: Executioner Tumult based on (ATK DEF) so atk times def or am I wrong. Or is it where it says atk 1 enemy 3 times.
I cant understand the skill is damage base on def and hp i am so confuse. How solution the Atk hero status and skill damage base on def, this combination atk 100 status and add skill damage on base deff 100 equals 200?

You guys need to fix the wording of everything.ignore defense means ignores defense plain and simple. Or the same thing with healing it doesn’t go up by what it says it’s like other stats do.you need to put a brief drescription for these false advertisements instead of making vids most people don’t watch. I have a current account, level 39 and suddenly when I open the game it takes me back to the 'start' intro. Oh NO, I have real $$$ in the game and hours upon hours of play. Where can I go to LOGIN? MAX HP scaling champs do come across as very underwhelming, pure DEF scalers however are not, if you've ever come across an at least somewhat decently geared Martyr or Tayrel you'd likely reconsider.
Also arena is broken. Players can wipe out arena with 80-100k aoe damage. Makes no sense and least fun arena... Make blue summon shards way more common for ppl... Green shards are garbage mostly. Stop with pack ads. Everyday they annoying.
What's with the gang hand signals? EDIT: I'm sure you have some great info, but I just can't watch the palsy hand gestures. My suggestion? Most TH-camrs and even high profile media personalities present from a seated position where the hands can't be seen.

I feel like there might be a hint. In order for a champions HP (from ?) to be reduced by 15%. They need 290 def. So.... 15% of X = 290..... 15/100(X/1) = 290/. 15/100 divided by 290/1 = 100/15 multiplied by 290/ 1. 4350/100 becomes 43.5. Or at least I want that to be correct because the last time time I did arithmetic was high-school pre-calculus. I don't believe that is correct because .15 x 43.5 =6.525.... huh? whoops. I mean 15x/100 =290, 29,000 /15 = 1,933 and 1/3. So a champion's HP needs to be 1933.3333~ with a def of 290 for the 15% reduction to take place. Ergo the damage that had to have been received is what? 1643.3333~?

Well, giving those numbers away would make min-maxing too easy. That type of gameplay requires a lot of testing, trial and error on the player's part.
@@RaidShadowLegends easier said than done when the RNG for leveling gear to 16 is very poor it costs 100's of millions in silver for the "Trial and error" if you made it less costly to swap gear and removed and/or sped up the leveling of gear like raise the cost of silver needed to increase the gear to level 16 but with a guaranteed level up say like 3 million silver to level 5* artifact from 15 to 16 and 6* artifact cost maybe 4 million that might be to high im just giving examples. then i would say the trial and error would be more effective but i dont like trying to guess what gear and stats are needed for 1 champion when it costs 100k to swap 1 artifact and there is 6 total so 600k plus the cost of leveling each individual artifact to 16 hoping to get the right rolls on substats only to find out that you need to rinse and repeat
Can we get the crash bug fixed! Tired of losing clan boss keys and energy because the game crashed. Also if you take a call or text message you will also lose clan boss keys if you were in the middle of the fight.

How do you know what the multiplier is for a given skill? I'd guess that a champion like the legendary Turvold has a higher multiplier on his each of his damage skills than a champion like the two star Outlaw Monk for example. Right?

9:15 Graphs aren’t boring. TESTING without good lead is BORING especially if eats up a lot of resources such as energy and silver.
I understand that the def is on a curve for dmg reduction but what about champs who's dmg OUTPUT is based off def as well? Is there a curve there?

The problem is DEF champs has much more value than ATK champs. For DEF champs we need to increase only 1 stat: it`s DEF itself that give them survivability and DMG (cuz most of their skills based on DEF) they dont need ATK for DMG at all. For ATK champs we need boost 2 stats: ATK for increase DMG & DEF for more survivability. So that is disbalance.
Not entirely accurate. While the basic idea is correct in reality any champion that does not scale with ATK whatsoever will have a smaller effective stat pool that will increase their effectiveness. Think how weapon artifacts will always have ATK as their main stat, and subsequently any random ATK substat on your gear. All of that ATK is 100% useless for that champ. Now whether or not this decrease in actual total relevant stats is enough to counterbalance their need of focusing on stacking fewer stats is unclear.

Y, i can agree that a few DEF champs are rly like tanks or so, their skills & stat pool not intended for make DMG. @@yuufelis4429 Funnily enough that's kind of it right there, in theory the champs with no ATK scaling should suffer the most from the smaller relevant stat pool, while the ones scaling with ATK for their damage portion wouldn't as much since they can get use out of both ATK and DEF, but what we end up seeing is that the pure DEF monsters can still dish out massive damage relative to their very high mitigation while partial ATK scalers like Valkyrie for instance, appear to sacrifice quite a bit more of their offensive throughput. I did say "whether or not this decrease in actual total relevant stats is enough to counterbalance their need of focusing on stacking fewer stats is unclear" but I will concede that it's not really all that unclear, but that it quite evidently is not enough of a downside as it is currently. It should technically be rather easy to tone down that issue by simply lowering the damage multiplier for DEF on the damage skills of pure DEF scalers, the fact that we can't see what the multipliers are to begin with notwithstanding.

@@yuufelis4429 Sadly judging by the rate at which they make gameplay relevant updates or tweaks I wouldn't hold my breath.
The one thing I would want them to do more than absolutely anything else is to simply make tooltips useful. Tell us what the multipliers for skills are, tell us how much mitigation the DEF that our champions have is and so on; give us the information that we need in order to make a proper decision when it comes to what we do with our champs. Most of us don't have the time or money to sink into this game in order to get past the cryptic nature of how its systems work.
Take all of the resources that go into making these largely uninformative videos and put them into more useful data within the game. Every time one of these videos pop up I groan because I know all they are is a basic breakdown of basic information for people who have no understanding of how RPG mechanics work. Tutorials for the noobies are fine, but all of this information is already in the game. No need to make a video where you read them out again and get to a point where you might actually tell/show us something genuinely useful only to turn around and say "oh but graphs are boring". Not to mention that they come out weeks apart.
That got a bit ranty, but the idea is that this approach that they take when it comes to what/how they convey to their playerbase kind of shows what/who it is that they are putting their focus on and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be refining the systems or the way in which those systems are presented to the players.
Is it best to have all the same equipment from a set for a champion or is it best to go by the sugested option for a champion
King Fisher Maan Depends on the champ and what your intention for them is. Also the sets. 4 piece sets of course mean you should use the other two slots for a two-piece set, and almost none of the recommendations are those.
I think all the recommended sets are with basic armor you can get from the first 3-4 levels. You might get better effects with higher level sets but look at what the recommended sets emphasize like atk, def, etc and use that as a guide for your specialty sets.

This is certainly better than FFBE official channel offering even less information and condemning outside sources. This channel even praises them. But I did like this video I still think it could have been more enlightening but they said they’ll bring out future vids to help with that. I think so far this company seems more supportive to their players than Gumi with their game. I’m switching between Raid and FFBE and thankfully it’s helping me loosen the hold the later has on me.

Excellent video. Btw you guys have to fix revive block in arena .. it just doesnt work. And it is a huge champion breaker if revive block isnt going to work. Makes some champions useless. I have zavia and on a regular basis her block revive doesnt work. Could you explain if I misunderstand how the those killed with this attack cannot be revived is suppose to work?

i keep having problems with server connection and losing energy and rewards because of it. and at least 6 of my gems just vanish for no reason.
@HenryVIII nahh don't worry about it is just 6 gems. i just wanted to let you guys know its probably a bug or something on the arena despite showing i could refresh for free the game must have take the 5 gems away the other one was right after i collect the gems from the mines and the game disconnected. but tks for the response

What is most frustrating is the “TIE” in Arena battles. It’s happening more and more and the Champions cannot kill each other because of the healing abilities each has and it goes on and on and on.
The only option is to quit which means you end up losing the match. It’s happened 10 times this week for me and I’m very angry and frustrated.
After 10 minutes if no winner is obvious, then the match should be resolved as a draw, with nobody losing,

Safe to say starting at about more than 1500 def, it is not worth it to invest on def as the benefit becomes too small and too costly.
The arena TIER bonuses affect ALL game modes?!? That’s mind blowing. What about the great hall bonuses, are they on;y for the arena or also for all game modes?

I love this game, and i think this game have a great future if u guys make more f2p friendly, free players get only 1 ancient shard/weak this rly rly bad, and the event is imposible to finish as a f2p player and need more pve content for casual and f2p palyer for get some good stuff.

its very f2p friendly, and the resource limit forces you to plan and focus your grind , so that in 6 months/ 1 year you can be top tier

Hi I noticed my Champion Ignaticious 3rd skill “Turn to ash” burn does not burn the Clan boss. Instead the each time I use the 2nd skill “battle shout” when the wave hits the boss there is a brief burn hp animation but quickly disappears.

Someone needs to reposition some of the weapon positions in hand, they look off and break immersion, and certain models that are just recolors could be altered slightly to make them less clonelike. Love the game though, I'm hooked on it!

Is the dmg only reduced in 15% levels or is it incremental? For example, 655 is 30% as stated and 285 is 15%. Does it scale along of the range or is it set? Will 400 def be 15% or something more but less than 30%.
Oh no, the damage mitigation will increase with the DEF value. So 400 will be higher than 15%

Is the damage multiplier in the skill? For example: Executioner Tumult based on (ATK DEF) so atk times def or am I wrong. Or is it where it says atk 1 enemy 3 times.
The multiplier for those Skills will be different. This is not an actual example, but think something like 2*ATK + 0,5* DEF, or 1,5*(ATK+DEF).

You guys need to fix the wording of everything.ignore defense means ignores defense plain and simple. Or the same thing with healing it doesn’t go up by what it says it’s like other stats do.you need to put a brief drescription for these false advertisements instead of making vids most people don’t watch. If it says the next of adds 5% healing then that’s what it means. Not 5% of the base healing as an example. You guys don’t do this with other stats either do them to all or don’t do it it’s false advertisement

I think that DEF and CHAMPION'S HP scaling champions are very underpowered
MAX HP scaling champs do come across as very underwhelming, pure DEF scalers however are not, if you've ever come across an at least somewhat decently geared Martyr or Tayrel you'd likely reconsider.

Make blue summon shards way more common for ppl... Green shards are garbage mostly. Stop with pack ads. Everyday they annoying.

Some videos are made faster than others, so it might be a bit hectic at first. Though once we have everything out, we will organize the existing videos and make sure they are easy to navigate.
I feel like there might be a hint. In order for a champions HP (from ?) to be reduced by 15%. They need 290 def. So.... 15% of X = 290..... 15/100(X/1) = 290/. 15/100 divided by 290/1 = 100/15 multiplied by 290/ 1. 4350/100 becomes 43.5. Or at least I want that to be correct because the last time time I did arithmetic was high-school pre-calculus. I don't believe that is correct because .15 x 43.5 =6.525.... huh?
whoops. I mean 15x/100 =290, 29,000 /15 = 1,933 and 1/3.
So a champion's HP needs to be 1933.3333~ with a def of 290 for the 15% reduction to take place. Ergo the damage that had to have been received is what? 1643.3333~?
