For those worried about the durability of the 18K, completely unfounded, I bought a 18K 3.5 mm 24" Franco from Jacoje... I wear it most of my day; to the gym, to the sauna, to work, to run. Now I don't wear it in the shower nor do I wear to bed. That diamond cut hits the sun too good to take it off Outdoors. I get compliments. It doesn't have any sign of wear. I've never had to twist the clasp back to the back of my neck, meaning it never rotates. Feels substantial on the neck but not "heavy." The color is perfect. It was worth the price for me, and if it's in your budget, it'll be worth it to you.
Ajacks80 man if you have to save up to buy the chain then move on. Reward yourself with one when you have 5-10x the value in the bank/investments at least.
just bought my first real chain from you man, a 18kt 3mm diamond cut franco 24 inch. cant wait to see what the worlds best personal jeweler delivers! Thank you in advanced bro

Out of curiosity, do you use a more silver rich alloy? Usually 14k is more coppery and pinkish looking than 18k, but as you stated in the video the 14k is Paler. :)
Quick question Braden, with a 18k Franco can i throw a pendant on without scratching/damaging the chain? I’m getting a Franco as my daily wear but looking to eventually pair it with one of your Jacoje pendants. Thanks !
I have an 18k of a lighter mm that i wear with a light pendant & it didnt scratch. I never took this necklace off mind you. Franco is such a beautiful cut that sparkles in the light, if it ever did scratch I doubt I'd notice. I get compliments on this necklace in the daytime as well as night. Just be careful where you wear it, it's an attention grabber. Especially the 18k.
18k is where it’s at!!. Beautiful deep yellow color and very strong. I own a lot of 18k, 21k and 22k jewelry and for chains on a guy, 18k is the sweet spot. Still yellow(before it changes to orange) and looks glorious!
@@BlackPanther1SS when you reach 21k gold which is 87.5 percent pure gold, it contains a lot less alloys mixed in than 18k gold and therefore almost resembles pure gold which is more orange in color.
I got a big question for you jacoje I hope you make a video about it why when I’m on the light my 14k looks very light yellow and when I’m in a shadow it looks like 18k-22k
On your website I was lookin at the 1.5 mm Franco and noticed in the description that it doesn’t says “solid chain” like in the description of every other chain. So if buy a 1.5 mm 22 inch Franco chain off your website is it going to be a solid chain? I really don’t want to buy a hollow chain lol
What if you find the dopest chain and charm pendant. . But their fake.. What would be the process of having a real gold and diamond custom piece made ? Where would I go to have the cad design replicated? How much would the labor be ? And where or what type of loose diamonds would be used to pave the pendant piece? If you wanted a real gold replica of fake jewelry what you do ? Or would it be worth the trouble ?
hey jacoje when can we expect to see the new jesus pieces on the site? i've been considering ordering one for a while now but i'm hesitant since you said there would be more sizes/variations in the future
I have a question.. So i just got my first jewelry Solid 18k Cuban iced out13mm from Ifandco can i wear it everyday? like is it ok to sleep with my cuban on?
I have a 3mm Franco from jacoje with the standard lion pendant from him (see my channel) and it looks feels and is perfect. I think you could still use the 3.5 for standard but I’d go with large at that point from 3.5-4mm. Then at 5mm you need XL I think which at that point it’s kinda silly to pendant but I’ve seen it done. I prefer the 3mm though for pendant then 5mm solitaire
Hey bro I have a chain I'm am currently buying it is a 14k franco italian gold diamond cut and would really appreciate ur feed back/ help. Is there any way I can send u a picture to get ur honest judgement?
The lower the karat in white gold the more white it actually looks. So that can be actually a plus. But the actual difference in color tone is so subtle barely even there.
Yeah I just tried sticking a strong ass magnet to my jacoje pendant and Franco because I was curious. 14kt and doesn’t stick at all. I think you got burned my dude 😢
@@TrevorATX I did. Apparently it's ''gold plated''. Real gold but only on the surface. 🙄 It has an 18k stamp on it. Looks real. It should be illegal to stamp it if it's not solid gold.
can someone explain the difference between buying a 9ct chain in solid gold or gold filled. since a gold filled chain has an outer layer of gold mixed with other alloys over the top of say, silver? how would you truly find out how much gold ur paying for? would u realistically say %37.5 of the weight it takes to cover the metal underneath is the amount of gold ur getting. or do u just find the grams of gold in the necklace through diving the total weight of the chain.
LAB 88 you will have to pay whatever import taxes your government have. In the UK it's 20% of the total value. Gets expensive if you spend thousands but it's worth it.
you can only tell the difference if you put 14k and 18k side by side, if you wear 14k or 18k alone, no one can tell the purity, unless you wear 24K chain
Very true good point. However I think at around 22kt you can start to tell but yeah 14 and 18 pretty close. And 10 and 14 very very close. However you should always get 18kt if you can afford it
10k will always be the best due to it being more affordable, scratch resistant, and less soft. None of this is an investment. Only bullions and coins are, which are pure and meant to protect you from inflation.
Not really true lol you’re stating the first part as if it’s a fact and thats not the case. Your opinion is that you like 10kt but the 14kt and 18kt are still very durable. Also when you buy 10kt you’re buying silver and copper and zinc with some gold. It’s literally majority alloys. 14kt is where it becomes majority gold at 58%. 10kt is borderline costume jewelry. 14kt and on is the only real option. You’re right about the investment thing though. However even with that being said if you were to buy 18kt instead of 14kt your paying ONLY for gold value increase. So not comparing not buying a chain to 18kt but comparing 14kt to 18kt etc. same with 10kt 14kt. That increase in price is literally only gold value. At 10k and probably hallow no offense you might as well just buy plated stainless steel 😂

My 18k cuban link chain is SLIGHTLY magnetic. It's 100% real gold. The reason it's magnetic is because it has other metals in it.
