Thanks Chuck. No need for tri-band down here but I just wanted to have a look at it.✌️
I already have two Baofengs to keep in the car and won't care if they get stolen. lol. I keep the Anytone with me. 🍻👍🤓

Thanks for the review, I had the UV-82III also a Triband and I liked it alot. I saw somewhere that this HT was built on the 82 frame. If it is, thats a good thing, anyway I had lost the 82 can't find it anywhere so I replaced it with the A58S so we will see if the test of time holds. 73

Nice Video ,sir. Question, does it use the Kenwwod connector to program with Chirp? Is it a cross band radio? Thank you. Ernest Bazzinotti KC1LKB

    Great review man.
Just picked up a TYT TH-350 triband. Seems like a very similar radio.

Приветствую автора видео. Благодарю за ролик, очень познавательно. Скажите, она реально в SATCOM диапазоне работает, как заявлено производителем? Вчера купил такую рацию, теперь думаю, есть ли смысл покупать антенну SATCOM.

Can you tell me if the Baofeng BL-9 2800 mAh extended Li-ion 7.4V Replacement Battery is compatible with this radio? Thank you . Ernest Bazzinotti KC1LKB

Ham radios do not need FCC approval do they, after all we can make our own radios. $34.00 free shipping on Ebay, with shipment from America, not China.

Yes Libert Cave Ebay was the only [place I could find it, Todd has a supplier he buys from on Ebay. I suspect you meant 34.00?

I forgot to add this about the Baofeng radios. If you add the output watts of each band, they total up to about 8watts give or take. Just sayin'. Thanks agn.

Hundreds of TH-cam videos in and I'm still not convinced I want to pry the lid off of even bothering getting a tech license! I do listen often on local repeaters and more recently on web based SDRs. Wow, really the the wild west on those longer wave lengths, replete with some real arrogant azz clowns and obvious FCC violations. Doesn't paint a nice picture for a potential to get involved... Anyhow, why do hams often depart from the phonetic alphabet? As a life long aviator, nothing screams "amateur" more than hearing someone use non-phonetics for alphabetic annunciation. It's just as grating to my ears, as if you were to hear a local Ham on 2M calling saying "breaker breaker breaker..."anyhow. I'll keep watching your videos, but they often cause more questions, than offer solutions. As an example in your previous vid I watched this morning, I had to pause and google at least 3 of the things you referenced, but offered zero explanation for... Dstar as an example...I had zero clue there even was such a thing and seeing how slow it is I certainly don't need it, but the point is your channel seems to have a lot of surface scratching, but it's not yet convinced me of the need to get more immersed. Suggestions?
