Thank god for Bruce Springsteen. This song and slbum got mixed reviews, the video with Winona Ryder & with Tim Burton directing brought it back ro life. But the fact that Brandon thought thry shouldnt play it is unreal. To hell with critics. They know nothing in the end. Its word of mouth by us fand n the end that can help these songs grow :)
I know which lyric he’s referring to. At first I perhaps thought the same, such a ubiquitous item it’s become in our daily lives. But 10 years later and first hearing this song yesterday… the lyric is relatable as any common object in our lives. Thank you Brandon
I’m guessing it’s the restaurant part (or the cellphone), words which aren’t poetic enough. 😂 He smiled when he sang that part. I cringe every time. But the music video and the story it tells are sooo good
Apparently the critics said the cellphone line was too sentimental, but I like it. I think it anchors the song in a time and emphasises the singer’s need for the real thing over the ephemeral. Fab song
Awesome song from an amazing album
Thank you Bruce Springsteen
And Brandon Springsteen.
Contexto?

@@francoruiz_ QUÉ? DE VERDAD? GRACIAS BRUCEEEEEEEEEE, gracias Brandonnnn😭😍 y gracias franco por darme el contexto te la tragas sin pretexto 😍
Battleborn is the greatest album, and this song is so special !!
I feel the same
Battleborn album is so special and every song have a beautiful meaning⚡️
Battle Born is my favorite Killers album. It feels very much like a sibling record to Sam’s Town, but far more nostalgic.
A song of my heart.
Thank you Bruce Springsteen.
Time seems to move so slow when your taking it as it comes!
I was there, was not expecting this song to be played. Best night of my life. I hope i get to see them again.
Você é uma pessoa de sorte. Meu sonho é ir no show de The Killers🇧🇷
Funny that Battleborn was the first album without a radio hit. It was the first of theirs I listened to from beginning to end.
It's beautiful
It's my favourite of their albums. Runaways is incredible.
What camera was used to film this? This is really great footage!
Brandon Elvis 🌸🌸🌸Amazing🤩🎵💎
Beautiful, touchy, strong and powerful
Brandon is so powerful an amazing person ❤ brilliant Brandon Flowers 💯🎤🌟🔥🎤
Ouvindo essa bela canção, longe de casa, quase em 2024.
LOVE this song!!! And only Tim Burton could bring the music video Here With Me to life like this-haunting, surreal, and beautifully eerie.
My favorite song, forever ❤
Thanks for sharing 😊
Beautiful 😢

Their BEST song
Love this song!
Wicked song
A pesar que le bajo un tono a la canción, tremendo Brandon!!!
Mi álbum favorito es battle born ❤
Which lyric do you all think he was embarrassed of?

@missomurphy Why 'anchor?' Cell phones have been around years, and will continue to be around for years more.
I wonder what the specific lyric was that he didn't like. Amazing song.
It was 'cell phone' only because some idiots slag the song off for that lyric. But they are wrong, and Bruce Springsteen is right.
What was the line he was embarrassed by ?? That made him stop singing it.
Dont want you picture on my celphone
@marcela673 He never had a problem with it until armchair critics started making fun of it. IMO he should have ignored the idiots.
