Another Jackie Chan classic.This movie is what made him a house hold name in Asia and got him fans across the globe.I saw this on 42nd street ,here in New York,in 1981 or 1982 and it was funny and a true classic.Though I wish they would have inserted the original english dub,which i have on bootleg version of the movie,Drunken Master will forever be the movie which helped Jackie Chan's career go further in life.The movie was so popular that other movie companies decided to do their own movies using "drunken style"of kung fu(WORLD OF THE DRUNKEN MASTER,DANCE OF THE DRUNKEN MANTIS A.K.A. THE UNOFFICIAL DRUNKEN MASTER 2,STORY OF THE DRUNKEN MASTER,SHAOLIN DRUNKEN MONK,DRUNKEN MASTER STRIKES BACK AND DRUNKEN MONKEY) the actor who plays "King of the sticks"that was fighting Jackie in the clip,was a very well known fight choreographer by the name of HSU HSIA.His name is mentioned in the credits as one of the fight choreographers for Drunken Master.He also has a list of other movies he either starred in or did the fight chreography for(5 SUPERFIGHTERS,LION VS LION,HELLS WIND STAFF,3 EVIL MASTERS A.K.A THE MASTER,SNAKE IN THE EAGLE'S SHADOW AND BROKEN OATH)

This is why Jackie Chan is added to the video game of Shaolin vs. Wutang as a playable character even though I haven't seen part 1 Drunken Master movie but I've seen part 2 though!!!!
