Six weeks as the Dark One and Emma's heart remained pure. Now at this moment was a show of TRUE LOVE; she gave into the darkness of the nobelist of ideals.
This is definitely the most powerful scene of the series so far, in my opinion. Emma REFUSES to let her true love die on her, so she does the worst thing imaginable to keep him alive-I know how bad that sounds, but it was all in the name of love, and I love how she is finally open to a future and a happy ending and that she refuses to settle for anything less than a future with him. The Middlemist field is the perfect place for such an event to happen, and I don't think anyone saw this coming. I keep coming back to this scene because there's just something so powerful about it.
It was nice. However, after that, Emma had to save Killian. Then, she had to kill Killian. And then she went to save him again. And again, and again, in Season 6. Actually, their relationship was about Emma saving Killian. It was boring.
@@Olivia-ng8vh I enjoyed Hook in season 2. But he went from a nasty and interesting anti-hero-almost-villain to a spoiled adolescent complaning about everything. And, in that season? Emma sacrificed everything for him, and he took 5 minutes to turn dark again, team up with Zelena and Nimue, and try to kill every other person she loved. In the end of the part A of the season, he was killed again and I said: "ah, ok. Now it's done? Did we get rid of him?". Noooooo... They found a way to go to Hell, and Robin was the human sacrifice at the end. Then I gave up the show. 😒🤣
Watching this for the millionth time. I honestly understand Emma's choice. Like imagine being and orphan and then losing everyone you've every loved time and time again. Like she was even reluctant to get into a relationship with hook in the first place because she didn't want to lose him. But eventually this happens. She honestly couldn't cope if she had just let him die. I probably would have done the same. This is by far one of the best seasons of ouat. Well the first part anyway.

I cried when Emma said "That's not enough for me!" After Hook died... But it was really creepy when Hook came out of the Well of Dark Ones *as* a Dark One! 😥
This kills me every single time. The acting, the score, the writing. All of season 5 was my favorite because it broke EVERYONE'S heart. It's tragic. Everything in this season was hard to watch because none of it was optimistic or of a fairy tale story. That's why I love it so much. It was unique.
This is one of my fave scenes on OUAT... very emotional, gorgeous and sad at the same time. The music, the acting; Colin and Jen are so good together... I just think it's amazing.

When Emma almost lost Killian I both loved and it was so sad too in both ways too when she said this: THAT’S NOT ENOUGH FOR ME I cried so terribly much in that scene to many times and I still do that every single time!!!!!!! I have never seen Emma so heartbroken when she thought she had lost Killian she has never cried that so much to anyone else,😭😭😭😭
Sometimes I feel so bad for Emma she lost Neil once and shut herself off from love then found him again, and this time he died, and she lost him again and now Killian, she loses him, to the darkness. It all sucks for her because, yes her parents struggled to be together, but I just feel Emma has yet to have her true love, and it breaks my heart because she finally opened up to someone, and despite all her efforts she lost him :( this has made me cry, and broke my heart.
This scene though ... I love Killian so much and this cliffhanger was the best. It was torture having to wait 2 weeks to see what happened next. People blame Emma for what she did but honestly I would do the same for my boyfriend if it meant that he could live, and worry about whether he'd turn evil later. The music as well!!
Brilliant story twist. Excellent performances. So that's why True Loves Kiss didn't work when he tried it. They were both Dark Ones! Am excited to see how hot head boy toy Hook behaves now that he has to struggle against the darkness again. And seeing him wield magic? So excited for all the possibilities!
1:28 - 1:35 look at the way that emma's eyes changes. i honestly believe that it's because of the darkness that made her do what she did. the voices in her head are probably taunting her and mocking her that she keeps losing everyone
YES! That was so irritating. Like take your stupid Merida episode and shove it up your butt, MY BABY JUST BECAME THE DARK ONE. They should have had that episode BEFORE this one, and had the two hours be this and the one that deals with the aftermath together. waiting another week really killed the intensity
Regina’s a bit of a hypocrite, cause when she tells Emma she can’t turn Hook into a Dark One, Emma calls her out on it, but look at how far she went to punish Snow White for telling a secret, considering she didn’t even have the faintest idea of what Cora would do, she just wanted Regina to not lose her mother, and in return, she cursed an entire realm just to punish Snow
I feel sorry for Emma. But I understand why she did what she did. She already lost one love... Wouldn't you do whatever you can to ensure you don't lose it again? 😥💔

Had I been Emma In that moment I Think I would have become the dark one regardless of if Killian would have survived or not. Apperently turning someone to a dark one to save them is evil and makes you the dark one so if I did that I would become the dark one. If I Killian had died I would have killed Arthur and everyone that helped him and I Think that murder is a way to become the dark one.
The reason that she had to lie to her family and pretend to be the dark one was because when she became the dark one she had all previous dark ones in her and she had to fool them she never fully was dark she had to act dark to fool them
I truly hated Zelina for doing that but I also hated Regina for a lot of things. Now both of them, together with emma and hook are my favorite characters, she was very annoying but now she's so sweet.
You have to remember she was still the Dark One here and I'm sure that influenced her decision as well. I am sure that she believed he could resist the same way she did. I'm sure the darkness also told her that.
You know, I always loved this show because it subverts the damsel in distress narrative you see in every fairy tale. Every little girl deserves to see Emma save Hook's life over and over again and believe that she can be a hero too.
