Your right there used to be a metal plate on top If that shaft no more than two bolts some years back. Great little mine not far from me. Ground is a little dodgy. Great video
Go out the way we went in. Just remember your turns. Some go to a dead end. Some times you might feel a small air flow. Most of the time it’s just remembering the way you went.
Find these videos so interesting and very addictive to watch amazing how they used to tunnel through the rock
Danke fur das Hochladen sehr intresant

Means a lot 😁 thank you
And a roller-coaster

That was like a wounded pig 😂great video!
😂 haha. Cheers mate
This is the dodgy area through the infamous Mt Wellington fault, and looks much more messy than when I was last in there 2 years ago
@@bikechainmic it’s moving all the time and has been recent rock fall prior to this.
👍🏼
Yeah that are launders mate those internal waterways
I wasn’t sure but made sense that i would be a way of carrying water out of the mine before the use of pumping to surface.
I see your mates got a gas detector I've got the exact same one mate
Decent gas detector as well. 2 year life so good investment
How do you retrace your route?

@@cornishxplorawith MY memory I'd be stuffed!
@@Roy-gi5ul You really cant get lost in that mine...then theres always the keep left technique !
Copper mine ?
Yes copper mainly
Theres really still abandoned mines open like this? I thought they were all sealed off
100s of them
Too expensive and technically difficult to seal off, plus you dont want to trap large pockets of radon gas
Some dodgy timbering in that stope! I know you know what you're doing but take care!
Thank you, alot of time and care is taken for sure. Never cut any corners. One at a time.
Ça l'air propre et sec . . . .
