Epic video guys 👍 epic walk, scenery, dogs, gory history 😊. Congratulations on facing your fear Daryl, I don't like edges either 😱. What is most epic though, is you! The journey you've come on to get to the point that you can do that walk 👊. You are a shadow of your former self and should be very proud!
Aww thankyou Sue. As we said in the video, I never thought I would do anything like that again. So chuffed to be able to do so, and buy normal sized clothes. Almost the same weight as Keith now. Just half a?stone to go😀 Thanks for your kind words. Have a lovely weekend xx
Thankyou. Yep it was a good walk and one you should do if you get a chance. We have done it twice in the last month as we took Pippa to walk it too from the Worms Eye View channel. If you get down this way be sure to let us know. Hope your weekend is good.
Great video, after watching yours and Pip's adventures here, I cannot believe we didn't give this one a go when we were in the Peak District back in June...definitely next time!👍
Thankyou Irene. It is a beautiful walk, with some stunning views. The dogs enjoyed it too. Thanks for your support of our channel. We always know that we will get a lovely comment from you. ❤
Great video chaps, I was up there the other week with Brienne Whippet, had an amazing time, the scenery is just stunning. That last hill was a hard and unexpected finish to the walk. The pub reminds me of the three stags heads at Hurdlow, it’s got that “Slaughtered Lamb” look about it.
Oh the Three Stags. We were in there one night and around 10.00pm the locals started getting leather strops put and sharpening knives on them. Needless to say, we made a quick exit........😟 You are right, thatclastchill is unexpected and certainly harder than the others. We ended up walking it again two weeks later with Pippa from Worms Eye View. We fancy doing it in the winter now
Thanks William. Yes it is stunning g and for some reason lesser known than some Peak District places. Let us know when you are up and we can meet up for a coffee😀👍
Easy making a video they said lol - appreciate the effort and impressed I wish I could walk them hills. Having just skirted through Peak District and Yorkshire Dales appreciate so much you don’t see - well done on the effort let alone the video - oh love seeing your dogs out in the landscape - it feels like their domain
Thanks both. It was a smashing walk, but cameras in hand make it difficult sometimes lol. We can recommendxitcnwxt time you are up. We have walked it twice in the last month and would happily do it again if you want to join us.
Campervan Tales Jane unfortunately due to health issues wouldn’t make it round by the looks - she can do about 5 miles normally with flat elevation - looked like a 5-10 miles by the looks
@@getawaygeese yep it was 6.5 miles and a bit strenuous. I couldn't have managed it, or anywhere near it a couple of years ago before my weight loss. Enjoy the rest of your trip. I'm sure we will catch up for a coffee at some point😀
I am totally bookmarking this. Amazing production quality too! Post them in 4k if you can, the views being so majestic... Cant wait to get my puppy BC in december. I'll watch your videos with him/her.
Aww. You will have a wonderful time when you get your collie pup. We apparently have a lot of collies who watch our walks, and it certainly isn't for our ugly mugs😀 We would love to film in 4K but it eats up so many batteries and memory. Admittedly this was an extra long video because there was so much to show. Thanks for watching and your kind comments. Enjoy your puppy, bet time will drag until he or she arrives. 👍🐕🐕🐕🐕😀
@@CampervanTales Batteries and memory, of course. Yet I would rather watch your videos than anything on Netflix. I wish I could swap your budgets! I will probably go with the GoPro 8 Black for my dog videos as it is nicely saturated and easy to use. Better enjoy the moment than swap lenses and worry about battery life if I carry my Pocket 6K. I'll keep watching with the collie! And many thanks for taking the time to reply.
Thankyou so much. It is very kind of you to say. We use DJI Osmo Actions and find them really good to use. Looking forward to hearing what your Collie is like. Have a good week👍🐕
Thank you both for this wonderful video, made in your own personal style. You probably know the following already, but some of your viewers will not. These two hills - Chrome and Parkhouse - were formed around 300 million years ago in the Carboniferous Period of geology. They were reef knolls (atolls) set in a warm coral sea, near the Equator, before the continental plates drifted northward to what is now the Peak District in Derbyshire. Hard to believe, right? Best wishes, Ant.
Thanks. Yep we knew bit didn't mention it in the video. We can't wait to get up to the Peaks again soon. The caravan site should open on March 1st, but I guess that will depend on what happens next week.
Great views, nice hike for sure. Patt splat ewww hahaha to funny. Being that high up is not for me even when you're doing it makes me dizzy lol, but still love the views , Braver than me. have a great weekend guys xx
Aww thanks. Yep, I wanted to play splat then but Keith said no😟 Ita a lovely walk. We have said we want to do it in the winter again. You have a lovely weekend too xx😀👍🐕🐕🐕🐕
A great looking walk, one I've set out to do a couple of times but have always had to turn back before I started. Once the car developed a misfire on the way and another time I had an emergency work callout. One day I will make it 😂
Definitely one to do Alex. One that I couldn't even have considered before the weight loss. The views were amazing and it wasn't too busy when we did it.
Gosh, that can't have been easy walking it with flu. Well done. I used to go to Eyam a lot as I lived nearby, butcher do have a walk planned for there and have made some notes for a video. Have a good week and thanks as always for watching.

Gorgeous walk.
It is Michael. We really enjoyed it.
Great video, love that walk
It is a great place to walk. So much so that we ended up doing it again two weeks later with a friend to show her.
Great video, after watching yours and Pip's adventures here, I cannot believe we didn't give this one a go when we were in the Peak District back in June...definitely next time!👍
For some reason, it isn't as well known as some Peak District walks, but well worth doing next time you are up. Have a good weekend👍😀
Respect you two! An awesome epic walk! We actually drive past the dragon’s back today. Love, love, love your dogs 💕💕💕💕

It is definitely worth doing. We are sure that you would enjoy it
To use a Tread the Globe word - amazing.. one day I shall get up that way in my campervan and attempt some of that walk 😊

Campervan Tales good for you as can see you enjoy it ... Jane would do more at times she can do it’s just gauging it ....
As long as she enjoys what she can manage, that's the main thing. Take care

And you didn’t take a Campervan Tales flag to the top. 😁 . Great Vlog Guys. 👍
Missed a trick there didn't we? Planning on doing it again though at some point so will try and remember a flag😀
I'm recognising lots of this 🤣
I wonder why? Do you think you might have been there sometime?😁

Looks a nice walk shame I can't get the other half to do it lol
It was a good walk. Maybe they will join you one day. It is something I wouldn't have considered or managed a few months back👍
It's a smashing walk I did it with flu so don't remember too much
Have you ever ventured to Eyam the plague village it's so interesting
Gosh, that can't have been easy walking it with flu. Well done.
I used to go to Eyam a lot as I lived nearby, butcher do have a walk planned for there and have made some notes for a video.
Have a good week and thanks as always for watching.
