This was very helpful for many reasons. We are relieved to find that the cruise was not just for older people. We were happy to see you out running. I plan do to the same! I backed the video up because my eye caught that Marine Corps Marathon jacket! (We have the same one!). I'm so happy to hear the wine was good. Just yesterday I googled the wine I saw on a menu in another video and found that the price per bottle was only around $5.00. I was very disappointed that a luxury cruise was serving such low budget wine. But, as my husband said, if it's good, that's all that matters. We are looking forward to our Rhine cruise a year from now.
Thanks for your kind comments. Be sure to ask the crew where to run. We especially liked running in Passau (the best), wertheim and cologne. We have run MCM many times. The short news clip in our intro is when we pushed an IWO Jima marine for MCM during the pandemic. The included wine is good for the region, not Viking wide. Just our opinion.
What amazed us from our trip ending on July 4th, was that the main crew members knew and called us by name or remembered our cabin number by the 2nd day!!! Meals were first class, and with my special dietary requirements stated ahead of time, the chef prepared my choices separately. We were very impressed by the service, the fabulous tasting food, and the energy and smiles of the crew members. We were on the Viking Vail! 5 Stars!!!!!
I'd say their service is first class. It's like the crew is also making sure they are entertaining guests while having their dinner. And you have everything you need, even wine and coffee ❤

Wonderful review. My wife and I have been on 2 Viking cruises and we have enjoyed them. They do live up too meeting your food needs. My wife has food allergies. They proved that they will take care of food allergy. We have been on a Christmas Rhine cruise and on the southern Mississippi. We have booked a cruise for 2035.
Wow; what a big ship with 95 cabin. The dining area looks vast, my favorite area, lol 😅so much to eat. I'll definitely love to book this ship Thanks for sharing ❤
We had a meal in Budapest, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Cologne. Then we stayed in Amsterdam where we ate too. We did a lot of beer sampling along the way too. Always fun. Plenty of time to do so.

Just got back from the Amsterdam to Budapest on July 2. We thought the food was not great. Everything was very bland. We had a few good meals but overall was disappointed. The waitstaff was fantastic and brought our drinks as we sat down and sat at around the same table every night. Everything else about the cruise was fantastic.
Thank you for showing us the full menus. All the dishes you showed look fresh and colorful. We eat with our eyes first! (Although I’ll pass on the Wild Mushroom Soup 🤭)

We're going on our 12th Viving cruise (9 River and 2 Ocean so far). We loved the variety of always tasty food, and the always-open coffee station.

Mushroom soup is one soup am eager to taste. All the dishes are so beautiful and colorful.

We are taking our 14th Viking, both river & ocean.
We have found that most of the time Viking is a 4 star restaurant.
