The biggest tip I can give, that tutorial doesn't explain at all is aoe egos redirection, so for example, you fighting a boss and he has 4 ads with him, you use aoe ego that should hit 5 targets, but it only focuses boss. So to change that you need to clash with each skill slot of this boss with other sinners and then try using ego again(target ads, bosses most of the time will have more weight in their slots, wich would mean simply put less targets for aoe attack).
9:15 Library of Ruina's opening sure is equally vague! And just about as violent / dark in tone, String Theocracy aside. Roland literally warps into the Library, under means we only get a vague hint to at that time, is immediately confronted by feather-dress Angela, disarmed AND dislegged after answering like 5 questions with bluster and bullshit, upon which he wakes back up magically reconstructed and gets infodumped by an entire freight train of data from Normal Librarian Angela. :V
so the title screen is actually just the EGO at the end of the paid battlepass with the season's name slapped on there. it has absolutely nothing to do with the story. (the season's name usually ties in with the newest canto from the season but that's about it) furthermore, the canto's all revolve around a specific sinner, and it's currently going in order of the sinner introductions
Each of the sinners are based off of classical literature Greg from The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka Rodion from Crime and Punishment by Fyordor Dostoevsky Sinclair from Damien by Hermann Hesse Yu Sang a IRL Korean poet but mainly based on his work The Wings Ishmail from MobyDick by Herman Melville Heifcliff from Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë Don Qixhote from Don Qixhote by Miguel De Cervantes Hong Lu from Dream of the Red Chamber by Cao Xueqin Ryoshu from Hellscreen by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa Mersult from The Stranger by Albert Camus Outis is Greek for Nobody aka Odysseus from The Oddasy Faust from Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Danteh, Charon and Vergilius from The Devine Comedy by Dante Alighieri
47:16 There's a reason that Faust refer to herself as "Faust" most of the time while still using "I" in normal scenario for reason which I won't collaborate. Anyway Very excited on your playthrough of playing Limbus finally, I wonder how you will do your next part, I imagine it will be per Canto/Chapter which would make sense. My only advice is that while it is a gacha game meaning that grinding is unavoidable (though of course you still can support PM with purchasing stuff to avoid grind), don't be discouraged as this game is probably the most kind gacha game there is, as soon as you build your first squad with anything (yes even with base Characters/Identity) as long as it meets the level requirement of each stage, you are ready to enjoy the game. Have fun, personally I'm excited how you will handle Canto 5 which I think is when the game got really interesting (Kind of like when you get into Love Town in Ruina)
Be careful, if you exit the game in the moddle of the tutorial it skips the tutorial for some reason. Or at least it did when I was playing, they may have fixed it now
i would say for you to use a tutorial from a great youtube channel but then i realised i am not in a gaming channel 😅😅 Edit: Good luck with the gambling!!
This game has really bad ingame tutorial (the one you just played through), it barely explains things that are actually important to the game, and focuses on resonance which is a pretty minor mechanic overall. Its ever worse then LoR one since that one actually explained what "clashes" are and how do they work at least on the basic level. This one doesnt even explain what rolling coins does and such. I suggest watching 2 "A better tutorial for Limbus" videos by ESGOO, because thats really the only way to actually understand the mechanics of the game. Also there is some optional supplementary material for both Limbus and Library which has important story information in it that you can read if you want. Distortion Detective is an (unfinished) novel, and characters from it show up in story, and Leviathan is a direct prequel to Limbus which is about Vergilius's backstory. There is also Wonderlab which is a comic for Lobotomy Corp, which is not canon, or at least not fully canon anymore, but pretty good.
Who's your favourite sinner? Right now it's Don Quixote for me
Dante, with Meursault right behind.
Mines Don Quixote too ! I also really like Ishmael :D
BASE CHOICE
I'm a big Ryoshu fan, personally!
Yi Sang
That title screen theme is an instrumental version of 'In Hell We Live, Lament" by Milli.
Ah interesting! I was going to react to that song
He actually played it..
He actually did!
He lor player so it's not that surprising
He finally play Limbus...
Prophecy is real!

19:09 if you turn off auto coin toss it slows down the fight by freeze framing it before they clash
Ah so helpful! Thank you
@EverythingFantasy You won't have it on all the time cos you will get tired of clicking but it's a good way to see how things are interacting

Watching a musician breaking down the soundtracks while playing the game is quite the unique approach I haven't seen done before. An interesting watch
Thank you! I'm glad it was interesting!
HOLY SMOKES
Good time to start! Make sure to do some pulls in walpurgis banner while it's here, and have a fun ride in the bus, executive manager

Hell yes!!!
You should probably watch Esgoo's Tutorial videos. Limbus, to put it lightly, can't do tutorials.
Be careful, if you exit the game in the moddle of the tutorial it skips the tutorial for some reason. Or at least it did when I was playing, they may have fixed it now
As great as this was, my only real gripe with this was how quickly you would skip diologue.
CHA MAGANERA!!!
Did you finish lobotomy corp ?
I didn't! Honestly I may have to watch a playthrough just to give myself more time to play Limbus. Feel like Lobo Corp will take ages
You should read leviathan. There're gonna be some spoilers
i would say for you to use a tutorial from a great youtube channel but then i realised i am not in a gaming channel 😅😅
Edit: Good luck with the gambling!!
This… is peak

By the way you need watch ESGOO tutorial after canto 1 because PM tutorials a the worst.

FYI Dante uses they/them
