Know this is old but having the same issue with my VJ and reds. But my question is what do you do when you have both vector say text and picture. I boosted the magenta but then the picture looks bad. This would seem to work good if all your printing is squares of color but we mostly have mixed graphics in our printing Thanks
I've Had my mutoh for several years. The easiest way to print reds or any color darker is choose any color red select image copy and paste image select black and use transparency tool to make black 25%. This will change the color. before you print final image it needs to be rastered. and bang darker colors

Thanks for this Adam, We have been test printing blocks of red trying to get a good red four our customer. .Look forward to trying this tomorrow!!!
