My heart hurt for her. Jennifer’s responses, together with her body language led me to wonder how many other Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) had she suffered / endured during her young life. The strength Jennifer displayed as she retold her story, as she explained her case was beyond incredible! So courageous! Though the trauma remains ‘frozen’ in her body, in her central nervous system, I pray God grant her peace and rest regarding the court case, that He embrace Jennifer with abundant love on her healing journey through this painful valley.

She's mentioned elsewhere that she had been molested since the age of four. I could instantly understand the behavior and attitude as I know that being molested as a child and not feeling safe enough to tell anyone, make it extremely hard to speak up and not blame self in future situations. Even mutual encounters with men are a huge problem until you get the right help and support to recover from the earliest and all subsequent incidents. When Jennifer said she blamed herself, wondered what she’d done or hadn’t done, hiding in herself, that she’d been this way ALL of her entire life was heart-wrenching, mind and soul shattering. My heart hurt for her.

The strength Jennifer displayed as she retold her story, as she explained her case was beyond incredible! So courageous! Though the trauma remains ‘frozen’ in her body, in her central nervous system, I pray God grant her peace and rest regarding the court case, that He embrace Jennifer with abundant love on her healing journey through this painful valley.

She's mentioned elsewhere that she had been molested since the age of four. I could instantly understand the behavior and attitude as I know that being molested as a child and not feeling safe enough to tell anyone, make it extremely hard to speak up and not blame self in future situations. Even mutual encounters with men are a huge problem until you get the right help and support to recover from the earliest and all subsequent incidents. I'm happy that she's coming forward to tell her side publically!
