it's not the best version, its just different. The original by Freddie King is lean and mean but Joe's is the second best version and Joe is probably the best guitarist on the planet

Reese Wynan made the band the “band of the century”! The last video that I saw of Joe’s didn’t have any of the members that complimented who Joe was and what he wnated to express in his playing. That's Reese Wynens...back in the 80's he was part of Double Trouble who played with Stevie Ray Vaughan. Reese on keyboards, Tommy Shannon on bass and Chris Layton on drums. Chris is currently the drummer for Kenny Wayne Sheppard.

Joe Bonsnmasa is truly an amazing guitarist just incredible. and he always surrounds himself with some of the greatest musicians. he switched from the Les Paul to the ES 335 and he seems to like it. and it's always a pleasure to watch and listen to him play the guitar. I'm definitely a fan for sure.

I’m starting to wonder if people are focusing so much on his technique being so different his phrasing doesn’t get the respect it deserves. He really is more than just a fast player. This guy has such an amazing pallet chords and tone arrangements. It’s so refreshing.
Musically, Mr Clean needs nothing ! And that was an incredible performance all round. It’s just that when you’re that genius, for me, you need to have a hat or bandanna and some facial hair. A skin tight suit is not doing it for me Joe; you are not in the Pet Shop Boys. But that music delivered in that way by those on stage - just WOW !!

The guitarwork in this song is exceptional, and the coolest thing is that he's using standard blues licks, but he makes it all unmistakably "his"...that riff at 2:12 is freaking smoking!!! I love me some Kenny Wayne, and I loves me some Johnny Lang, but I'm gonna have to say that Joe is the baddest bluesman on planet Earth currently. Musically, Mr Clean needs nothing ! And that was an incredible performance all round. It’s just that when you’re that genius, for me, you need to have a hat or bandanna and some facial hair. A skin tight suit is not doing it for me Joe; you are not in the Pet Shop Boys. But that music delivered in that way by those on stage - just WOW !!

First time I ever heard Freddie King play the song with the day Joe Bonamassa came to Columbus Ohio and played it that night in concert. It was wild having heard it for the first time just a few hours before and thinking. Damn what a song.

The fact that Joe has three backup singers that dance like that is just another testament to how incredibly badass he truly is. The guitarwork in this song is exceptional, and the coolest thing is that he's using standard blues licks, but he makes it all unmistakably "his"...that riff at 2:12 is freaking smoking!!! I love me some Kenny Wayne, and I loves me some Johnny Lang, but I'm gonna have to say that Joe is the baddest bluesman on planet Earth currently. The old Blues legends would be proud of this performance, I'm sure of it. Keep up the good work, Joe!!
