It really is! When it was released, at first i did not like it (same with Vector). I wanted them to sound like they did on The Mountain, so i was disappointed with the sound, which was too heavy and too modern for me. But now, after i got back into them via Fauna, i re-listened to Vector and Virus, and surprise, surprise: I now understand these albums. Man, there are absolutely brilliant. How could i ever not get it back then? But whatever, now i do, and that is all that matters. So i hope that all those who did not like Hakens new direction back in 2018, hoperfully now will give these albums a well deserved second chance.

high quality metal. crisp production and hard unforgettable riffs. a pleasure to listen to. that 'strain' song is something else!
😳 ok I'm impressed 😁😁
Why instrumental? It's with singing too.
It's like a metal version of Dream Theater....1st song anyway....
But Theater's metal band?
@@Piece-Of-Time Well, it is a Progressive Metal band.
Yes, both prog metal but now I understand that this one is more metal
