Honestly, had never heard of this man. Figured, "Hey must not be too bad if its recommended of Haken..." So I decide, let's give it a whirl... I'm 3 songs in, and my jaw is still at the last stop light as i happened to look out the window just as the piano trickles in around 15:40, its just so beauitful. needless to say this is, as each song plays, becoming one of my favorite albums, and this is still the first listen through. absolute brilliance. well done.

This is awesome! I love those psychotic riffs on Pupa/Cocoon and Twisted Shadows.
Someone mentioned Guthrie Govan. I think you have something in common - not only can you shred like crazy, but like in 4:47 you can make highly technical guitar lines sound so, for want of a better word, "tasty".
And calling a guitar "tasty" reminds of Macron trying his best to thank in English the Prime Minister of Australia and his _delightful wife_ and instead saying "your delicious wife".
I was randomly brought here by a playlist and my god am I happy I did. This album is amazing. I really live the creativity, the masterful composing and the very percussive sound. Just a bit sad, that music like this has to sit around unnoticed with 37k views.

I am so happy to be alive in a age when such awesome artist and bands i have never heard up just show up in my recommended feed all the time.
If I had Wolfie Amadeus M. risen from dead fresh in my apartment oblivious to any music from this or previous century, this is the album I would have him listen first. To see him lose his mind out of joy utterly overwhelmed by the richest music ever created, this will never happen, how sad.

I like the whole album but Silken Chains and Afterglow hit me the hardest. I am willing to bet that Silken was a labor of love given how beautifully it flows, seamless and yet sporadic in its conception. A true work of art. I loved it Richard. Thank you.

This is bloody amazing. I listened to this album in one go yesterday, and I have to say that you somehow manage to sound like what my music sounds like - in my dreams. I want to get to that point of experimentation one day (while still making enjoyable music, like yours definitely is).
And you know... I listen to this fantastic album and I realize: this was written by this down to earth man who saw me in my Haken shirt before your concert in Graz and said "Hi!" to me in a way that made me feel like you really appreciate every single one of your listeners. Well, I've certainly been a Haken fan for a long time, but now that I know your solo project, I'm also a Richard Henshall fan. Please never stop amazing us mortals!

Why should i want a new Tool Album, if i have this piece of Art? I finally got my CD and im speechless. This is an album, that you have to listen from start to finish, otherwise it doesn't evolves his full potential. You're aiming for my number 1 in my Top 10 Albums of 2019, and its about time that someone else is getting that place ;)

Loving this release. Even stuff like the rap beginning of Lunar Room which I didn't like so much initially I kinda love now as part of an epic musical journey from that weird disjointed vibe into something pure nova collective/lush/heavy. Such fresh prog

Found Haken thru Nova Collective a few years back, have had pretty much just Haken and BTBAM in my rotation, until I found this recently. I don't know how I didn't hear this sooner, it is a fantastic piece! Its got a really ethereal feel to it, can't stop listening
