- Mineral Extraction is one of the Remote Sensing Applications through satellite images. Using the reflection and emit of a feature (Mineral in this case) you can easily detect & Monitor that feature. in this video, we've used the characteristic of reflection to extract minerals. We've utilized Aster image because of its high ability in detecting Minerals. At first, we've shown how to pre-process Aster images such as Radiometric & Geometric corrections, etc. Then we've extracted each mineral using its formula in the ENVI software using its band math. You can extract any mineral using the same method.

You can output any of the minerals as a single band
and take it into ArcMap
And merge these three bands inside the arc map
and display as a three-band combination.

For the band composition in this video, the existing bands have been used arbitrarily and no specific band composition has been used.
The band composition used is only for visual viewing of the image and has no effect on our processing
