She looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing this process and the building layers of colors to achieve the desired looks! Is quite a lengthy doable process that you make look easy btw and fun! One thing I wish you'd voiced to viewers is indications on placing the eyebrows as some may not know. I've been indecisive on which type of Blythe doll to purchase. Your video has helped me a lot. I really appreciate the time you put into making them! 😊❤
I experimented with things I found at the craft store when I got started but honestly they really didn't work (because the pigment and quality is low). I do sell a kit in my shop with smaller portions of the pastels I use, which makes it cheaper and since you only need a little the kit lasts a long time. I would say yes as long as it is new and/or been cleaned very well. Makeup for humans is too oily to use in faceups so if your brush is used it may have oil on it that will damage the faceup.
Love your videos! I am looking for a doll customizer artist for my doll (PpinkyDolls). Is that something you offer? Would you recommend a link/artist by any chance? :)
I don't do any custom work on others dolls and I don't know anyone specifically, but you might check the Blythe Customization group on Facebook. Someone there might be interested. :D
Less is more , so lovely seeing a Blythe not overly covered in paint 🎨. So realistic and endearing well done 👏🏽
My first doll is arriving any day now so thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial, I can’t wait to make it for my mums birthday 🙈✨💛

Hi, I am interested about learning how to customize Blythes , their faces and make up and everything, how would you recommend me to start?
I would purchase a doll, research and gather your tools and jump right in!
Have you used any other pastels or do you have recommendations for cheaper alternatives?

How do you smooth it out
Is it ok to used make up brush for customising?

Hey do you apply with water or the chalk straight on ?
No water! Just chalk straight on ;)
This is great! Can I ask what type of pencils you use?
I use Derwent Inktense pencils mostly. ;)
is it chalk pastel or oil pastel?
Chalk...never use oil ;)
Do you sell you dolls?
