Great tier list! I've been a IDM fan for a hot minute but Boards of Canada has always been an 😳 blind spot. I love MHTRTC but that's the only album of there's I've heard. Keep up the good work!
Nice tier list, I look forward to seeing more in the future! Only thing I gotta disagree with is Geogaddi. Everything works for me and I think it's their most addictive album
Hi Scores is to me their absolute most perfect record. Bought it upon release date, even two copies actually. Wrote a review about it in a magazine straight away, speculating on their bright future. MHTRTC isamazing, but just a notch under Hi Scores to me, so an A. ABPOITC is the other one I put in your S category. Geogaddy and Tomorrow's Harvest are really cool, but just Bs. Campfire Headphase is the one they lost the plot for me, and really disappointed, so a D. The EP is to me almost dreadful so an E.
@@IcySnapsYeah It sounds too much like they try to be a little bt of the Beatles, somehow, and the beatles already exist, and it just doesn't really work. It is a departure from what they did before, and artist should/caj't help evolve, but in this case, I find it a dead end, somewhat recitified with the fourth album
Trans Canada Highway is my favourite work from them 😭
Oh no! I'm sorry... it still has some good songs to offer but doesn't quite click with me like the others do!

Thank you very much! I recommend listening to their other albums, each one has something great to offer.
@IcySnapsYeah will do

Thank you! Something about the album feels a bit more mechanical to me. I think that's why I'm drawn to the more natural albums!
you should get into autechre
I will check them out!

Interesting take! Hi Scores is definitely when they started to define their sound! The campfire headphase in D?? What about it don't you like?
