Hi, We have used Alexapure for quite a few years. We use a HD plant stand and find it very useful. Easier to lift and check water levels. Also, we run 2 filters and find filtering rates are much improved.
An easy way to fill without looking is to fill your container (bottle, glass, pitcher) from your tap, dump it in the top, and then fill the container with the previously filtered water. That way you are always using and replacing water 1 for 1.
Alexapure and Berkey do not have NSF certification. Another recent video says there is a class action lawsuit against Berkey and their independent laboratory they used lied about their level of filtration. From now on, I will only look for those systems/filters that are NSF certified.
The Alexa Pure handles Fluoride, you have to buy extra filters for the Berkey. Also, the Berkey only does 3000 gallons per filter vs, 5000 for Alexa Pure. My understanding and I could be wrong.
I have had my Alexapure water system just shy of 1 (ONE) year and my filter has stopped working. According to the description, the filter should last approximately 5,000 gallons. I estimate that we use 2.5-3 gallons per day. 3 gal * 338 days = 1,014 gallons! Nowhere close to 5,000 gal. If the estimate for the longevity is so off base, I have to wonder how accurate the claims for the purity of the filtered water are. When I called customer service about my problem, I was told that the filter should last 6-8 months. WHAT?!? Extremely disappointed!!! And a new filter is NOT CHEAP!
Agreed. You need to put ALL FOUR filters in, and you will see a huge increase in volume. I dropped 500 bucks on the Alexapure with EVERYTHING including the extras, the spare parts, blah blah blah. I believe the filter from Alexapure is slightly BETTER than Berkey as well according to many folks who are willing to actually test the filters. Berkey won't send their filters to a true testing facility because they know they will not do as well as tested, but their claims are that they are the BEST! I would personally go with Alexapure, but I will say berkey is better looking with their chrome finish and nice parts.

You didn't show anyone why Alexapure should be your next purchase. Pretty much a pointless video without test results.
Sweet! Can’t wait to see your Free Review video!
@@HeyCMH You didn't answer the question...what was the ppm results?
They sell a stand on Amazon
The Berkey is SLOWER!
So I’ve heard...and the Alexapure isn’t fast 😂💀
@@HeyCMH .. I just purchased the Alexa for about $100 less than the Berkey. Im crossing my fingers. Thanks for your review. I just subscribed to your channel. 😊
@@SmithsnMoz how is your AlexaPure?????
@@layah28 .. I ABSOLUTELY Love it. The Water is not the same as bottled water but it does the job.
@@SmithsnMoz thank you so much for responding. I just ordered me one and can’t wait to use it. Do you know if it’s true that you can put berkey filters in the AlexaPure system???
Berkey is the BEST!
