I really appreciate you showing your mistakes as well as your successes. Some sellers make you think everything is all roses and chocolates.
It's definitely not that. More like a rollercoster. So many ups and downs, but I love it (half of the time).
I swear your titles are the weirdest titles iv ever seen i mean im surprised Ebay hasn't slapped your listings for over exaggerating the keywords in the title. They do that you know! They will just delist anything that looks OVERSPAMMY. Your titles dont follow any cohesive flow just keywords. Strange. The items specifics is where your suppose to put those keywords in my opinion.
In my opinion titles aren't supposed to sound elegant and flow well. They are supposed to describe the item well to help buyers find it. I think eBay hasn't delisted my items because although I may not have titles that flow cohesively I use accurate keywords.
Omg the birkenstock's size reminded me of my trouble of finding shoes. I used to be a 5.5 and occasionally a 5 and was hard to find something I liked. Now I am a 6-6.5, which is easier.
Hi what kind of shipping you used USPS ground advantage? Do you do flat rate or calculate?
Currently I am giving buyers the discounted rate. They pay what I pay for shipping. I use brown boxes I buy from eBay when buyers choose the USPS ground advante option.

The shipping option is not new. Ebay is just now opting everyone in unless you select to opt out.

I just a refund request on a Collectable that was SMASHED by the PO. I only sell on E Bay & think I’m going to give up on hard goods. I double boxed, used a large box, bubble wrapped, stuffed with paper etc and still looked like it was dropped kicked. Glad to know your sales are great.

AS FOR AS THE NEW SHIPPING OPTION...was told that when you do add that setting they would also put the shipping amount I was charged on the shipping the item which a lot do not like that...would not show up if you opt out. DId you not get any sales on your mercari store?

I have a question about Poshmark shipping. I have an item that sells for $140 but weights 5 lb 12 ounces. I read on Poshmark that I have to pay for an upgrade on shipping? Please explain this. Thank you

Your videos are very helpful. I have a question. If you choose to change over to flat rate shipping, is that shipping discounted like when it is calculated?
Flat rate would be a set price determined by me. Calculated is when ebay determines price and charges the same prices as postal services do at their stores. Discounted rate is determined by ebay too, but the shipping price is at the discounted rate instead of full price like calculated. I hope that answers your question.
Every time I post on Poshmark my closet gets shut down. This happens after I get a message from what I believe is a scammer, the next thing I know I'm locked out of my closet and can't post anything. It's frustrating because there's no customer service phone number to call and Poshmark never responds to my messages.

This is not a new shipping option. It has always been an option, ebay just decided to try to get sellers to edit their listings now, and are automatically doing it to many sellers if they don't opt out.

Thanks for all the info! …..how long do you wait till you relist your item on Ebay and/or Poshmark ? It’s my understanding that after either 60 or 90 days on Posh, even if you are sharing items consistently they will no longer show up high in the search if they are older ? 🤔
I sort my items from oldest to newest. I relist the 5-7 oldest ones. Sometimes they've been listed 3 months sometimes a bit less. I delete the item completely from ebay and Poshmark and list it again using List Perfectly. This bypasses Poshmarks 60 day rule for relisting using their copy feature.

Hi! I have a quick question. Are you saying that your sales did better when you used calculated shipping versus flat rate shipping or the other way around?
This whole time I was using calculated shipping, which charged buyers a high shipping price. My sales did better when I switched to charging "ebay discounted rates" instead. That option charges buyers the discounted rate in shipping, which made my shipping prices more reasonable and competive.

I dont have good recommendations for affordale steamers. I purchased two cheap handheld ones that broke a few months in. But i'm sure they are out ther. Search amazon and look at reviews thoroughly.

Hey Sandra great video, I have a question. I have a great goodwill bins location tons of inventory shoes and clothes. I want to expand my reselling more for whole sale and sale to resellers. Using merci since it’s no fees and shipping is way better. Do you have any tips for me? I get overwhelmed with so much inventory. The items I find are ridiculously so many. I can’t list them all myself. Any tips would be appreciated.
I think Mercari is a great option. You can also search for wholeseller Facebook groups. I'm sure there are some for resellers to connect with wholesellers.

In general I'd say yes. But ultimately it depends on brands. Some clothing brands and styles will sell better.
