Hi Kellie! You make me laugh out loud! I love to watch your videos. I wish I could see your store and meet you in person! I know we would be laughing up a storm!! (Un)Fortunately, I live in Florida. 😂😂 So, I won't be coming your way anytime soon. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet you at a bead show! For now I have your videos to make me laugh! Please keep them coming! Plus, I love to see what type of jewelry you're going to make! Last week I went crazy with the Patina finish on several pieces of metal! They are awesome....completely change the look of anything! GOD Bless you and your staff! See you soon!

Thanks so much Melonee! I’m glad you enjoy my videos. That’s awesome that you have worked with the Patina paint. It is an amazing product and I hope more people play around with it. I hope we get to meet up one day too. You just never know! ❤️❤️❤️

The only thing I’ve ever done with metal has been to wear it. That beautiful heart has enticed me to see if I can add a little something to my metal components. Do we have to do anything prior to painting it? Clean it? Sand it a bit? Thanks for the video!

Nothing if you are using those patina paints. As for regular paint I’m not sure.

Would you suggest adding the paint to the silver beads &/or ring too or would that be too much?

    • @KelliesBeadBoutique

You could. It might be overkill but it’s worth trying.

I'm loving all of your videos so much! ♥ Is it necessary to put some kind of protective coating over the patina paint to preserve the beauty and prevent it from rubbing off during wear?

Thanks Nancy! The patina paint is pretty permanent. I’ve never used a sealant but you could if you were worried about it.

Hi Kellie, I haven't used patina paints on a smooth metal like that. Does it adhere as well as it does to matte or "roughed up" surfaces? Love your bloopers BTW.

Hi Wendy. Yes. That’s the magic of patina paint. It’s pretty well bonded on whatever you put it on.
