had a question that had me absolutely lost for a little bit but eventually I got it. A plane is at an altitude of 400m, the pilot looks down at a landmark at an angle of depression of 1.5 degrees, two minutes later, the angle of depression was 5 degrees. The question asked to find the speed of the plane in km/h. To me that sounded like a "there were 4 boys and 6 apples, how many seals were at the zoo" type of impossible question. For a solid 5 minutes I stared at the question thinking "what the actual f*ck am I meant to do" and then it clicked lol. It's 321.1km/h I believe
Hi Mario. I was wondering if you could help with some math homework. Q: A lifeguard spots a swimmer in the lake at an angle of depression of 45°. He spots a sailboat, further out, at an angle of depression of 26°. If the lifeguard is 36.5 dm away from the swimmer and 84.7 dm away from the sailboat, how far is the swimmer from the sailboat? The difference between your question and mine is I don't know the height of where the lifeguard is sitting. Would I instead use cosine to find x?
Hello Mario! Could you please give some techniques to add or subtract numbers mentally faster? What is intereresting is that I tend to multiply and divide faster mentally 😄. Thank you!
“Solve for d” happens at about 2:50 d is the difference between the sea level distance between the plane and the first ship, and the plane and the second ship. That’s the distance between the ships, in this simplified 2-dimensional problem.
Great.
But for the sake of beginners, stop being, stop rushing fast. 👍
I was just doing my home work and i found you, and you have no idea of how I like it. Thanks very much!!!
You sir, is a life saver.
sir u really out here saving lives
thank you! what about if the boats are in two opposite sides?
Hi sir, could you please explain how you extracted the value of D from the calculator?
tan(10)
Great video. Where did this problem you solved come from?
Just assuming
2:58 : where did u get the value of “D”???
it’s the value of tan10°(d) so d doesn’t really have value yet
mario u got me full marks on my hw ty pookie
Thanks for the teaching sir
Brilliant video, I needed this for my 9th grade trig exam.

I'm putting 37320.5tan(10) and I get 24197.2 in 2:49. what am I doing wrong?
How did find d stop going fast and explain
why are you adding D? Wouldnt distance mean you would subtract d from x?
This was great, Thank You!
Thank you so much sir!!😊
Most welcome 😊
Sir how to fin the tan 10 x d???

Sorry no
Thank you for the video Mario
thank you so much sir!
Thanks

Hi Gabriella, good question! I don’t have a video on that topic yet but I’m glad you are looking at upleveling your skills!
@@MariosMathTutoring Thank you!!! Yes, I am looking for that! You may call me Gabby!
great video, really helped
Thank you so much omg !!!
Welcome!!
Hello sir can you please make a video on rational numbers 💖
And their operations💖💖
Thankyou
this
was the best
Glad you liked the video Yaser!
how did you get D? you got 1.76 but didn’t really explain where you got it from?
Same question here
It's tan(10°) bruh. Try it to your calculator and you'll get the answer
D represents another variable to make it clear that they don't use same variables.

Check inside your pants you'll find d
I like ya cut g
when i inputted 10000tan(15) i got 2679.491924 ??? i dont know what im doing wrong :(
Divide 10,000 by tan 15 (0.267949) = 37,320.5
tan(10) x (37320,5)=6580,6
Why is it so dam hard to find a video with just 2 angles of depression and no sides? Fuck I hate math
Hi can u help me with my homework :3
Transform the following to matrices to RREF
A=[ 3 2 2 ]
-2 0 1
1 -1 0
B= [ 1 2 3 4 ]
-2 4 -3 5
3 0 5 -3
I did a video on the topic here: Row Reduced Echelon Form th-cam.com/video/yWO2vYn-TX4/w-d-xo.html
Jeff Bezos??
I'm in Clac 3, why am I here?
clac
Spice Lord obviously still in elementary English

Using calculator is a sin. It's illegal
Horizaul🤣
I don't understand
