Thanks for your videos. I hope Honda sees these videos, realizes that their reputation for quality products is not carrying through on these machines and improves.
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏 The door latch has a double catch. If you lightly push the door shut, you'll feel a click. Push a firmly, again, and you'll feel it lock securely. Nothing to do with the bushings. I love the bushings kit. 👍 Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the videos! I have a pioneer also, and a lot of the things you have done, I plan to do in the near future. I appreciate the videos you are posting as they are very helpful!
Thank you john. Its comments like this that makes the effort for the video worth it. Let me know how your future upgrades go. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support of the channel.
Good product, added them as well, another very simple low cost fix is add a piece of electrical tape to the latch, it won’t last forever, but just clean up and add another loop of tape, totally silences the latch rattle.
Thank you my friend. love your videos so far I’ve purchased all of the lights, two New batteries. In the process of ordering fender flares switches for the dash to control the lights and now I have to order the door bushings. now I have to find someone to help me install all of this.
Great post here, Brotha and Kudos to you, friends, and family on the Youth Deer season. If more families participated in outdoor fellowship, our country would not be in the mess we are today.
Thank you. We try to bring the kids up in the woods and teach them the heritage we grew up with. Not only for the experience but for the memories they will share over there lifetime. Get them out in gods creation and make them a little more independent and see the circle of life. Sad how bad of shape our country has gotten. Thanks for watching

My name is Johnny Wilson we live in Charleston South Carolina my wife is Joyce we’ve been married 55 years. I’m retired from alcohol aluminum company. I worked in Alcoa Tennessee for about 4 1/2 years. I have a 2015 pioneer 700-4 I do my own maintenance and it looks brand new we take care of it. Trying to get it ready for August 15 of this year is a deer season it last six months I want to be able to take my wife out and just give her a ride around she used to hunt until she had a stroke I’m her caretaker that’s a tough way to make a living I’m telling you. I only have an hour or two each day to work on my ride. Ithem take a one project at a time cause I’m not sure what I’m doing
Johnny it’s nice to meet you. My heart goes out to you and your wife Joyce. I would say the caretaker part of it is hard. But the love y’all have for each other in the 55 years of marriage is awesome... prayers for y’all. Alcoa is real close to where I live. Maybe 30 minutes tops. If you was closer i was gonna tell you if you had the parts we could shoot a video of the install in my shop.. but if there anything I can help with feel free to ask.
Well I ended up rolling off one of the hinge studs despite your warning! None of the Honda dealerships including Mountain Motor Sports in Kodak, have any in stock. Did you find a substitute or ?
Man they over torque them from factory and the heads are real soft. I had to take a Dremel to one and cut grooves in it to get it out. I picked up my bolt at ace hardware. I believe it is a 10mm by 20mm but I'm not 100% positive. I can pull one of mine and measure it to get you the dimensions if you need me too. home depot or lowes should have them too. when I find out I will add it to the video also
@@pineylife thank you! I’ll measure one of the others that I didn’t damage. I tried to do an exact match, but Honda’s have a 10mm head and most standard 8mm studs have 12….🤮
@@frankashby6235 15 mm. I was close. LOL. Thanks for the heads up on the bolt. I will have to add that to the vid. Your more than welcome. This right here just shows how much everybody can help one another out in the comments
@@pineylife it’s actually 16 mm. The new boots are 13mm head and 8 mm stud. I added one stainless flat washer to emulate the OEM. I had to order an extractor set from Irwin and use a Milwaukee 18v Fuel 1/2” impact driver to remove the OEM bolt.
I'm at work right now but I will look when I get home. I know some are adjustable and some are solid. The solid ones I have heard of people cutting a small piece of tubing or plastic to go inside the rubber snubber and stick out just far enough to touch the frame better. Let me dig into this issue a little further. I will get back with you
@@pineylife Glad to hear you and the family are having a great deer season. Did you ever get any additional info on adjusting those snubbers? Im going to post in the S xS Club so you might see it there as well.
Your welcome and thanks for watching. You are exactley right! There is several issues that Honda should fix. For starters every door bushing and bed hinge rattle! Secondly they need to offer a dual battery pre wired for a option.
@@pineylife Yes ! I have a new 2020 and am dealing with these sorts of things. I purchased and paid someone to wire in my dual battery correctly. The machine comes from the factory with a place for the second battery and Honda knows that the DCT requires a certain minimum voltage and that 90% or more of buyers will add auxiliary lights, radios and a winch. Why wouldn’t they just equip it correctly at factory and charge the price difference that people will ultimately pay anyway ? 🤷🏻♂️
@@ellobo1326 I agree. They know of the issues. People would pay for the option if it was available from factory. I never understood why the don’t have this option on the limited model. That’s the top of the line pioneer with everything on it.
Rounded the head off of 2 off the door hinge bolts despite being careful. I am not clear as to the bolt sizes as commented below from @frankashby6235. Could u clarify ? Thanx
Hate to hear your issue. I just took one of mine out and put it on a thread checker. They are M8x 1.25. And 30 mm long. I apologize on not answer real quick. @frankashby6235

How are these brand of bushings holding up so far?
Extremely well. I don’t think I will ever have to replace them.

I was hoping Honda would have fixed this issue by now. The purchase is well worth the money. Thanks for watching
Could you replace it by just taking the pin out and not removing the hinge
Not on the front doors. There's not enough clearance to get the pins out. There is enough on the back doors to get the pins out.
Just one question; can those “snubbers” literally be adjusted by hand?? We are having trouble with the rear doors!

Link for the snubs ?
