I was in a bar about 20 years ago with a buddy of mine. And my friend ran into one of his good friends and his friend bought me my friend and himself a shot of that. Back than it was $100 a shot,I was so wasted I don't even remember What a taste like.

It's real smooth but it's not all that my brother friend who is pretty wealthy brought this out I had a nice glass of it 🥃 no ice I enjoyed it with a cigar I dip it in the liquor to damp the cigar before lighting it I was feeling nice as hell but I wouldn't buy it though but the red box it comes in is pretty nice though💯

Why so expensive ?
From what I find out online is this…
The process of making a cognac takes wine that is been distilled into an eau de vie and age for a number of years then blended with other aged eau de vies of various ages and then bottled to make a consistent flavored cognac.
To make a Louis XIII cognac you must start 130 years ago. You must plant grapes to make wine and there’s at least three years before the grape plant will even produce wine grapes and probably another 10 years or so before the plants are mature enough to make a premium wine that is worthy of becoming the eau de vie for Louis XIII. Once the wine is made its age probably for two years or so before being distilled for the first time. So potentially it’s been 30 years already before Remy Martin even buys the eau de vie that may someday become Louis XIII.

@Yehhbb Ots been the same. I talk to the clerks all the time about whiskey and tequila. We got some white Hennesey too. Prices are actually coming down just a bit because of inflation. This bottle is just aged and branded so it’s gonna be a grip.
