    I believe you’re right to keep it as a “survivor.” You do amazing restoration work, Kyle, despite your sarcastic self-depredation. Seems to me that your subscriber base has benefited significantly from the “shout-out” on CWM. Your content deserves a much wider audience.

    • @CarterAutoRestyling

      Thank you, that's very kind of you to say! I definitely owe Scott big time for the shout out, although it's still to be determined whether having a larger audience will be beneficial or ruin my life completely haha.

    Nice truck I have the same year model 36 chevy truck as you going a different route than you . V8 four speed auto, jag front suspension and rear suspension. Air ride bagged nothing to fast just solid with some Getty up.
    Good luck on yours . Nice work on the fenders and the top .

    • @CarterAutoRestyling
      @CarterAutoRestyling  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it was a 35. I bought it for parts for the 36. Kept the box, running boards and a few other things and sold the rest to a guy who is building it into a hot rod

      @@CarterAutoRestyling I really love the heavy dually chassis under those, there's a utube on on that was restored and it's awesome, he put a 5th wheel on it and restored the trailer for it, last I saw of it was just a single axle and the rails but it looks great

    Curious to know/understand how you reconstructed A-pillars and dash rail using steel. I'm rebuilding 36 also. Thanks a bunch

    • @CarterAutoRestyling
      @CarterAutoRestyling  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used 2x2 square tube for the pillars and sliced and diced them until they fit, and I used steel plate for the dash rail. It was a lot of messing around and I wouldn't do it that way again. The best option is to find a 37 or 38 cab and graft in the steel pillars and dash rail to the 36 cab.
      Check out Snowking55 on TH-cam, he is building a 36 and has videos on using angle iron for his pillars

    Hello I’m working on one as well. Any idea where I can find the window regulators? I’ve been looking everywhere thanks

    • @CarterAutoRestyling
      @CarterAutoRestyling  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are the same from 36 to 38. 35 is almost identical, but you have to modify the mounting points slightly. Trying to find individual parts is extremely difficult, I ended up buying another truck, taking all the parts I needed and reselling what was left.

    • @zakp7532
      @zakp7532 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CarterAutoRestyling Thank you for the info! Buying another truck for parts was smart. I think I’m going to put power windows. You have a nice 36. Thanks for the fast response.

    Well I have to admit your doing some nice work on that truck is one of my all time favorites of all time. Well, we have one thing in common we both agree the world has gone completely insane. That I see plain as day, unfortunately, I've got many many relatives and friends who clearly don't see it, nor do they care, and some of them if you try to mention it loss their minds completely. That's how deep their sticking their heads in the sand. They don't see, it, nor do they want too that the abnormal has become normal. One thing I do know its been fore told and it will get worst, way way worst by the time any of this wraps up, much worst believe you me. There is hope in the midst of all this despair. And that is Yeshua Hamashiach and for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, we know and thank God we do that in the end we will win. That's the only way through this without snapping or losing your mind all together.
