Loved this the first track was fast and cherry which I really liked. The 2nd track was grittier which I loved and the chorus coming in together with the drums during a lull oofff heaven. Listening again!! ❤️🔥

So I would say “Epic Music” Or “trailer music” 😭😭😭 And they would still be confused until I put on something for them to listen too. Am I saying the wrong thing? If I am what do I say? 😭😭😂😅
Part 16: A Lone Voice 51 days before the Fall of Stormguard, the Outskirts The situation was grim. Losses had piled up over the last day and the fatigue was hanging in the air, almost like a blanket. Juvil knew they couldn't hold out much longer, and he wasn't the only one. He saw it on the faces of the human soldiers around him, as they huddled around fires and small radiators, trying to warm themselves. Even they were aware that their position would soon be lost, leaving the Outskirts of Stormguard to burn and waste away. City command knew it too. They were recalling important personnel. First the Librarian, Verillion, had left the lines, recalled to the inner wall. The Priest, Kiephros, had followed soon after. Now Juvil was watching as Lord-Captain Arkio and Chaplain Varathiel were readying the last of his brothers to fall back. That would leave just the Guardsmen to hold the line. And Juvil, of course. He would not leave the lines. Leadership of the final stand of the brave humans around him fell on his shoulders, even though he was not much of a leader. The others were hoping that even just the presence of an Astartes would give these men some confidence. As Juvil looked around him, a thought crossed his mind. It wasn't the first time he had thought it, but he finally allowed it to linger, to properly form itself in his mind. His brothers often underestimated these humans. As he looked at the eyes of the soldiers around him, he saw that they knew the end was near, yes, but there was also a stubborn determination to be found. This planet... Adraxia was their home, and Stormguard was their city. They would fight for it, even if that meant they would die for it. They did not need an outsider to inspire them to do so, as they had families hiding in the civilian shelters. It gave them the courage to stand up against the same horrors that Juvil faced, even though they were nowhere near the warrior he was. Juvil smirked, an expression that was hidden by the emotionless face of his skull helmet. These men would hold the line until their dying breath, whether he asked them to or not. Their determination was tested as soon as 4th company had left the lines to fall back. The enemy had obviously been keeping an eye on them, and they smelled weakness now. And whenever the Rotstruck Host smelled weakness, it always brought overwhelming force to bear. These strikes were not meant to test the defences any longer, this was a blow meant to kill, like the one that had pushed the defenders off the walls. Several dozen squads of Plague Marines pushed into the defensive positions, killing their foes with bolters, knives and poisons. IT quickly turned into a slaughter. This was no longer a matter of determination. Every survival instinct screamed at the humans to run, run as far and as fast as they could. And yet they held the line, not through determination, but through pure spite. As more and more of them fell, the eyes of the survivors only grew harder. They fought tooth and nail, even managing to bring a handful of the towering foes down with them. They fought until there were only a handful of them left. That was when their spite made way for acceptance. They had done their very best, and it had cost the enemy. However little it may have been, it had cost them. There was no more they could do anymore, not with the few men they had left. Or so they thought. This moment was when a voice rose from the ranks of the defenders. Juvil's voice was deep and clear, now that his helmet did not distort it. It was not a litany sung through a vox speaker to try and intimidate the opponent, or invoke a state of bloodlust in allies. It was a voice that was human, yet something else, singing a local song of the Adraxian soldiers Juvil had heard it once, a long time ago, but that was enough for an Astartes' perfect memory to reproduce it. The Guardsmen around him knew the words of the song as well. It had been sung to them by their mothers when they were young, by their friends when they had only been recruits and by their comrades on long marches. They knew it by heart, and after a while a few voices were raised to join the Executioner's. Then others began to sing, louder this time, and more kept joining in until everyone, friend or foe, could hear their song. It was like a fire had been ignited in the defenders. Where they had been tired only moments before, they now moved with renewed vigour. The acceptance was gone from them, as they sang defiance at their foes. At the center of it all, Juvil fought. As he sang, his blade moved in fluent patterns, adding to the song around it in its own way, with its own voice. A voice that normally only Juvil could hear, yet now it was on display for all to hear. He fought and sang like that for nearly an hour, when he noticed his voice and that of his sword were the only ones left. Juvil did not stop, but his voice shifted slighty, becoming more sombre. Slowly the words and rhythm of the song changed, as he switched to a song in his own language. The old Agrennoni song was both tragic and hopeful, a representation of how his brotherhood saw the concept of death. It filled the hearts of those who heard it with a sense of wonder. And as his voice was silenced and Juvil was overwhelmed by his enemies, the Plague Marines could not help but feel like a part of them died with the song. None of them would openly admit it, of course, but after the Siege some of them spoke of it amongst themselves in hushed whispers, giving birth to a new myth amongst the Host. A myth that spoke of an Angel, that once you faced it in battle, would take a part of you, even if you managed to defeat it.
