Tyra came across on RPDR as a person who is Self Centered and Manipulative and really couldn't care less about Her fellow competitors or fair competition and it went beyond just being Young and Naive. I believe Ru actually warned Her about that sort of Behavior a couple of times. Tyra showed Her true colors several times over the course of the Show, that being, She didn't care about anybody else, I think to the point Her behavior becoming anti-social. And I think Ru was much too lenient with Her. And the threats of violence? Not much to unpack about that.✌❤🤗
His arrest was unlawful though he never attacked a cop he even won a settlement after the unlawful arrest and the traffic “jam” he caused was him protesting his unlawful arrest on the sidewalk in front of the police station, he eventually got the whole station shut down for corruption too which is pretty cool
Thank you for telling the WHOLE story! People are so focused on hating her that they keep missing the POINT, which is, that their hate is actually the origin story. Tyra was wrongfully abused and then scapegoated. She deserved better. Tyra's way of responding isn't great, however, we cant keep ignoring the fact the she is RESPONDING to something. period.
Well when you back someone into a corner what do you expect to happen? I don't understand why people attack others and when they get what they deserve all of a sudden it's a problem. Why wasn't it a problem when Tyra was being attacked? Why didn't anyone defend him? OH WELL, HE DEFENDED HIMSELF. DEAL WITH IT.
James was/is a terrible person with an oversized ego with the attitude that the world revolved around him, and an unrealistic view that the world would just be handed to him on a silver platter after winning RPDR (when it’s actually just something to pop on your resume. It also comes across as a way to form some connections and be seen so you can find more work). Went into the show acting completely obnoxious to the point that no other contestants liked him (including the other baby drag queens) or wanted to help him when he needed it, had his butt saved purely by immunity on quite a few occasions (definitely would’ve gone home on the rock chick challenge without immunity, and was mediocre at best on the snatch game). He didn’t seem to understand that part of being on the show meant putting your best foot forward so that people would actually *want* to work with you (plenty of contestants from Season 2 have used their appearances to vastly improve their careers. Raven still gets plenty of work and 100% owns their bitchiness. Jessica Wild has a HUGE fan base just for being a total sweetheart who’s happy to poke fun at herself. Shangela became quite popular over the seasons because it was fun to watch her go from a total baby queen to quite experienced. Tatianna is the same age as Tyra but had none of the dramas - and seems to always be hard at work. Jujubee is probably one of the most popular of the RPDR queens ever. Pandora Boxx cemented her place in RPDR history with her unforgettable Carol Channing impersonation, and was voted Miss Congeniality for Season 2)
No matter how ppl treat you, you don't need to react, you need to reason and behave. James had a bad attitude even before winning and has never changed his behaviour.
I loved Tyra, right winner, wrong game. To sit Raven in the middle is crazy, no matter how many ppl liked Raven better, fair is fair. The winner is the winner. Hate all this happened to her at such a young age. But let them shade her all they want on drag races to this day, ridiculous
If Michelle was so nasty that should have turned people against HER not tyra...raven wasnt robbed...the right contestant won...but ofc the racists always have something to say
No. I'm sorry. James actions and behavior on the show and off should not be excused for any reason. You can tell from his behavior before getting the crown that he pushed people away and treated people around him as if they were jealous of him, so this is likely why no one helped him. He most likely didn't ask the production for help or let anyone help him when he went through the things stated here. If he had been a kind and caring person who could accept criticism and change the things he needed to change, he wouldn't need to ask because people would have been there supporting him. Rupaul did crown the wrong queen, not just based on Tyra's' edit, but based on James' behavior on and off the show. The facts are that he was not ready emotionally or psychologically for this responsibility due to his age and his maturity. You can tell drag race learned from this season just as they did from the season before it.
Have you seen his interview with Joseph Shepherd?? He did state there he asked wow for help and did ask wow to include him in shows so they can show his other side instead of his competitive side. You sound dumb.
It’s completely ridiculous to try to place some blame on Michelle for any of this. The fans didn’t even know who she was at that time- yet somehow she was able to turn all of them against Tyra?? I have been a fan of the show since the first season aired on Logo and I didn’t know Michelle said that until Tyra brought it up in this interview! In 10 years of watching this show- I have never once heard a fan say they don’t like a queen because Michelle doesn’t like them. If anything, the fans ROOT for queens that get singled out or mistreated by any of the judges. Tyra/ James needs to take some accountability for their own actions.
When Michelle said those things it was when she was already on the show so everyone knew who she was. Do you even know what you're talking about?? Her saying that being a judge on the show did help in create raven was robbed narrative.
I support him. It must have been difficult for him to go through all that shit. The company that crowns you does not want you at all and you're just 21 years old with big dreams . That's Wild. Watch the full interview they show receipts. Go KING TYRA
He hasn’t slowed down with his hateful comments on social media. Just recently he made an inappropriate comment about the Vivienne’s death.
i can’t believe i didn’t know about any of this, i’ve said for so long that tyra sanchez was the reason i got into drag race

imagine defending someone even Ru don't f w no more.........
@@kassadymaree7827 So Tyra made an actual impact in her community, but you care more about the opinions of a fracker?
Who cares. Tyra should have been a statistic according to you all yet she’s still alive. Doesn’t quite fit the narrative, huh? 🤡

May the Vivienne rest peacfully.
She is disgusting. Now making jokes about our Vivienne after her passing. She doesn’t deserve a platform.
Drag Race does have one of the most toxic fan bases but that doesn't excuse his behavior. He's lucky he wasn't charged for terrorism.

I always been with Tyra . Like the Vivenne bullied him too .

Bad energy attracts bad energy.
Tyra is definitely prettier than Raven. I like Raven I like them both but Tyra is more of a diva to me. Sad that James is not performing anymore.
Loved Tyra
worst winner ever
Worst comment ever
Not
& this account is trying to drag Michelle visage......Girl bye.
He deserved the win but his personality came across as awful and that’s a big part of the Drag Race image and success.
To this day, I still feel bad for James/Tyra
Tyra Sanchez was the DEI winner before we had even heard of DEI. Ru’s own racial hangups and concerns of a response from the fanbase is why Tyra won.
So you didn’t actually watch Season 2.
Nah. Tyra was the villian of the show but her performances were always top notch. Raven was just more likable.
