    Finally replaced my battery bank with a REAL power supply! My tests should be a lot more consistent now that i will have no voltage drop during the dyno runs. I plan on certifying amps and creating a list of every single one of them that passes. I can't wait to get started! This is just video one of about 2. I am still waiting on my laser machine to show up so i can make some nice covers and LED mounts for this. Make sure you subscribe to see how it comes out! Of course, lots more tests to come!

    For the amount of power that supply is putting out that 4/6 wire is pretty modest to run it that is great considering how much wire it takes to run 1,000 amps at 12 volts

    • @meade916
      @meade916  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      your optima is a 12v battery. These won't work for you. thanks though

    • @OfficerSpanky7
      @OfficerSpanky7 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've got a built alternator and it kept that Optima at 13.9 I think that's why It died. I've got a supercap bank and as long as I unhook the optima since its died I can start my car if I'm quick lol.
      Thanks for replying man. big inspiration

    • @meade916
      @meade916  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      13.9 is good...for a 12v battery. It isn't good for a 14.5v battery like a D1400. Those charge at almost 16v.
