I know you’re joking, but I’m actually extremely, extremely happy about that, XD reason being, the animals/fairies in Precure have been getting to do nothing in many of the new shows (apart from Tsubasa.) so I welcome a return to the mascots/animals being given some spotlight. Fitting that this show is written by the same person who gave us Syrup, the absolute best Precure animal/mascot I ever saw.
I really hope that Satoru and his rabbit become the mid season cures. It would be nice to have more boy cures which I think will be more likely since Cure Wing was pretty popular.

One strange quirk I think it's worth noting is that in Japanise there isn't a work for teal or mint green. For them it's still "Midori", even if you look at their stop lights many are teal but they still call them green. It may be the reason why they opted so easly for the teal for the post-March green cures, to them there isn't that much of a difference.
I strongly believe Lillian is green. If they wanted her to be blue then we would definitely know. She’s more of a mint color instead of the usual bright green like March/Mint. I do agree that we should get more “traditional” green cures tho, but I still really appreciate that they did something different.
Yeah Lillian's color is more like a mint or sea green. I'm not sure if that will have any significance for her personality, powers &/or destiny but we'll see. If this show had elemental cures I might think she represents the ocean/sea but I don't think that's the case here.
Daifuku is male according to his description, so if he and Satoru become a duo of Cures they definetly going to be the the first male cure duo and the as midcures to be male.
In my opinion, any cure that's green-coded is green. Yet again, it seems like a sneaky way for Toei to avoid actual green representation. Wonderful and Friendy have the best designs and I'm itching for more boy cures and I'm hoping Satoru and Daifuku become mid-season cures later on.
I’m really excited for this series to get release!! I adore the design and the info we have! I’m a bit sad that Lillian is more blue then green but if I ignore the color problem I still love her design! Hope February comes soon!!!

It's crazy that Toei is twisting the usual Precure formula into something fresh and new, and I'm here for it. Still sad about the Lillian thing. I was expecting another Cure Milky situation (with her being teal but counted as a green cure.) But it seems like the green herring has fooled us again. 💚😔
Although Lillian is teal, commercialy she green, according to the leak merchandice. So seen that this has happened twice, it seems teal is considered a shade of green. In the merchandice, Koumugi/Wonder is pink, Iroha/Friendy is purpule, Yuki/Nyammy is blue and Mayu/Lillian is green.
For me it seems like from their perspective cure color are based more on their color is addition to its relation to their teammates' colors, for example Milky would have blue is cosmo wasn't blue (at the time), or prism would have been pink if butterfly wasn't. Also if Satori and/or daifuku, become cures they kinds of sneakily gave us Pink, Blue, Yellow agains with the Pink Dog Duo, the Blue Cat Duo, and the Yellow Bunny duo
(long comment warning) Honestly I'm loving this season so far, so here are a few of my thoughts: Individually, I think the designs look amazing! And it doesn't really matter what color Lillian and Nyammy are to say that they're SLAYING their outfits ✨ Wonderful and Friendy are really adorable and their designs complement each other perfectly. I don't think we've had such complementing designs with a duo since Macheire and Amour, so it's nice to see after a while! My problem really only comes with the designs all together. There are just too many cool tones, and not enough warm tones to balance everything out. They could have avoided this by making Lillian more of a warm green or just embracing Nyammy's white hues and making her more cream (although I definitely think the periwinkle suits her more) which gets me speculating that the midseason cure (or cures) will probably be orange or yellow to make the team feel more balanced. I also hope for Satoru and Daifuku to become the midseason cures, since it just makes sense considering the whole animal and human duo thing we have going on. Although maybe once the season starts there'll be another contender, but for now I definitely want them to be the mid seasons. The discourse over male cures on precure twt right now after this poor guy and his rabbit were literally just existing is kinda ridiculous considering nothing is confirmed. But at the end of the day I'm always down for more male cures, since it'll put more smiles on the faces of little boys watching precure (which is always a win). The toys this year, I don't know exactly how to describe it, but they look kind of cheap? they opted for stickers for the wonderful pact and friendly tact, and the kiranico trunk is TINY for the price it's being listed at. I probably won't get anything that doesn't pique my interest anyway, but I still would have loved to get them :( They definitely look cute, I just wished they opted for a cleaner look instead of the print. Although they look really adorable in the show, so I think it's not all that bad :D ah yes, the good ol' fandom discourse over theme colors 😭(kinda off topic but I can't tell whether this is a major accomplishment or a major embarrassment for the most heated arguments in this entire fandom to be about which color a character is, but hey) I usually play it safe and just consider the cures whatever Toei says they are, minus Cure Finale which I consider to be purple along with gold because she has barely any gold in her design. So naturally, I'd say Nyammy and Lillian are blue and green respectively. As someone who's favorite color is also green, I adore every green cure to death (yes even including the controversial ones) and I think I'm honestly just desperate for ANY sort of green cure. Turquoise is a shade of green, so hopefully Toei is taking a step in the right direction to have another fully green cure. I mean if we count unofficial cures, we have quite the lineup with cures like Empress, Oasis, Kagura, The green cure in Wonderful Net, and much more. I see Nyammy as being a Periwinkle/Light blue cure, and she definitely does give me Aqua and Ange vibes for now. Although I can see the argument for blue and white and not green and blue, I think we'll just have to wait and see how they're portrayed in the show before we make any assumptions. those are my thoughts overall, and despite a few minor criticisms I'm really going into this with an open mind, since I'm sure the creators have put a lot of effort into making this a season with a lot to love! As much as I don't want Hirogaru to end, I also can't wait for all the fun we're gonna be having this year with WanPre ^^
I agree, the individual designs look really good. More warm tones would've been nice to balance out the cool tones. Yep, boy Cures please! And yeah, poor guy. Some ppl really have problems with male cures existing. There's only a few after all. Cure Wing didn't even hog the spotlight in Hirogaru. Yeah the weapons don't look the best but overall not too bad. Wow I didnt't think the Kiraniko trunk would be that pricey That's fair, a lot of people will consider Nyammy and Lillian blue and green respectively and that is fine since I also do consider Finale purple lol. and yeah, exactly, color discourse does get too crazy since it is just a cartoon after all. but of course i do love to take part in it, not gonna lie. and yes, i absolutely love those green cures you mentioned (Empress, Oasis, ESPECIALLY Kagura, and the wonderful net girl). im hoping they at least give Lillian a lot of green backgrounds. I'm overall quite excited for this season too!

Male cures done right honestly shouldn't take the spotlight away from their female teammates, but rather highlight how well they can all work together and just give the boys someone they can relate to. Tsubasa was an incredible character imo. I also didn't expect the toys to be that expensive, but the kiranico trunk is essentially just the heart cure watch but for wonderful precure. At least the Mirror pad has a lot of features but I'm really curious to see how Bandai is going to justify this one... Tbh I do kind of enjoy partaking in some color discourse as well, after all it's no big deal at the end of the day. I adore the unofficial green cures too and I definitely think they deserve more love! Kagura and Oasis are probably my favorites out of them ^^ I'm also hoping that Lillian gets at least associated with green through stuff like backgrounds. The mint shade they used for her on the website is really pretty, and I'd love to see more of it in the show!

Sorry to disappoint but he will probably be orange and the rabbit red or vice versa. Edit: omg, I made the same exact guess than you! 😂 I think Cure Lillian is a shy...green? 😂 She's almost a light-mint, but yeah, still not that bold bright green. She's very cute though and her redish eyes looks very mischiveous and misterious, wich doesn't really seem like her civillian personality, but maybe her character grows into a more corageous and confident person as a Cure.
If Satoru and his rabbit became cures, it would be the first time we'll get 6 Cures. Usually it's 5 like for Kira kira, Smile, Hugtto or 2 like the Splash star team. I won't say no to another boy cure. Wing was adorable, brave and great in Hirogaru sky. I would be so happy if we get more boy cures 🙂
Kira Kira was a team of 6 cures, even Yes 5 Gogo is a team of 6 if you count milky rose. But idd, it's been a while since we've had a team of 6. Really hope we get Satoru and his rabbit as the male cures of this season.

I’m a *sucker* for stripes and compacts, so I’m already invested in this season. The opening that just dropped is adorable! The friendly tact does look uninspired. And as an avid crocheter, I love that a character is into knitting!!! I’m VERY much hoping for a mid season boy cure duo!!!

Lilian/Mayu is my absolute favorite, love her transformation and ive had a history of really liking the blue precures (well some people say she green but i think she blue) so i wasn't to surprised to instantly like her
Mayu carries the show with her sweetness Yuki being done with Iroha and Komugi for the first few episodes she shows up was everything I needed Satoru deserves better ~ his back hurts from carrying both the Wannderful team and the anime
I think Cure Lilian goes the Milky Way, pun definitely intended. Both Wonderful and Star Twinkle had, curiously enough, a teal Cure, which at first seemed more on the cyan side, and a Cat themed Cure with blue-ish accents, that is designated another color( rainbow for Cosmo and white for Nyammi). Now that I think about it, most cat themed Cures actually have a blue Theme.( Cure Macaron was purple, while Gelato, who is lion themed, was blue) So at this point in time, it is likely, that Lilian will actually be considered to be a teal colored Cure, once Mayu actually becomes able to transform in the show.( which also may cause Milky to be reclassified as a teal cure). One thing that is curious in this season, is the fact, that both Komugi and Yuki actually have a heart print on the back of their heads, while Daifuku seemingly doesn't.( it is difficult to find images of him - I'm going by the pronouns used in the german subtitles, that show the back of his head. However even more curious is the fact, that all three do share the same overall head shape.( which is also very similar to the fairies from previous seasons, as well as the Kirarin-Animals of this season) As for the Mid-Season Cure/s, I do find it suspicious, that they would involve Satoru this early this deeply within the task of saving the Niko-Animals and Kirarin-Animals to restore the Niko-Garden. He is actively supporting the Inukais on their task and acts as the ancor of the group in a sense by grounding them, as well as acting as an emotional support for them. That would also be the first time, that a Cure of the same season is heavily implied to have romantic feelings towards another Cure( given that the show is teasing him in that way, I mean blushing at the thought of going on a date with Iroha is getting pretty obvious), should he really become the Mid-Season Cure. As for Yuki's humanoid form - other than Komugi's human form, she has a different hair color, blonde, as a civillian, while having her natural white hair color as a cure. I feel like she may know more about the person, that turns the Niko-Animals into Garu-Garu. In addition to that, Yuki gives me a lot of Tsundere-vibes, which is fitting for a cat. -> This also means, she is the most "wild" of the Cures.( as in she actually fights them to protect something - or someone, rather than trying to rescue the Niko-Animal) As for my favorite Cure this season, I'm still undecided. I kind of like Cure Lilian design wise, but they all look great.
it's possible that toei make lilian a not a true green color cure because how green is such a flop color in japan, toei need to sell merchandise etc so if they make lilian fully green yeah sales wise it's probably not good

It took me a couple of merch to see Lillian as a “green cure” but she is mostly blue lol. I love her design tho. Also a HUGE yes to Daifuku and Satoru being the midseason duo!!! All of the designs are very beautiful but some parts of the colors, specially from Lillian I don’t like the choice… like the blue bow in her neck, it suited better as green… Cure Friendy and Coral are really similar too!! Cure Nyammy’s hair and expressions are everything.
i saw a picture on twitter of an official piece from precure and cure lillian had mint greenish hair and her outfit looked mint green(sorta since the teal aspects were still there), after comparing the photos with the one on wikipedia they both looked a little different side by side (i doubt that made any sense..)

I know, she not green at all. People try to tell me my 1,000 iphone is "broken" and the outfit is mint green like heck no. It maybe teal or blue green but no way is it mint green or pastel green at all. I am so sad she not green cuz she was my favorite design.

I have a feeling Iroha will be the “actual” purple leader and not the pink dog. I mean a lot of people mentioned that Prism is more of a leader than Sky now. Lillian color is not green sadly, but her design make up for it. They got her design properly but needs a little more soft green or light green something

Green is bad for merchandise but personally I call that skill issue. Just make the design actually pretty and green could easily be popular. While I love Mint and March their designs were kinda questionable I could easily think of popular green haired female characters, Toei please :((
Exactly! In the Pretty series, there are a lot of green idols. Plus with Milky, you can argue that her green teal color sells better, but they gave her an obviously better set up with more screentime than Mint and March and a more traditionally pretty hairstyle. It really is a skill issue cause they can just give a green girl better development and hair/design instead of setting her up to fail.

The pretty and cute designs are quite popular with little girls. I think they could try to do something like Felice but maybe use blonde hair with softer mint green color for once. But avoid tree-style hair and make them look either cute, pretty, or something presentable
im not a fan of precure, ive never watched a single season, i just wanted to see these new designs and i noticed smth u dont point out and i think it might be important: the stripes of the bows on their chests have their partner's outfit colors, but the heart is their own color. so for example, the dog cure is a pink cure and while she has some purple elements on her design _like the bow,_ the heart in the center is pink; vice-versa for the purple cure. if the heart's color is their official cure color, then yuki is a blue cure and lilian may be a green cure unless they consider turquoise or teal to be her color. im not even a fan and yet im already bothered by how they couldve made her greener!! (i know precure has a very small selection of green cures. and yuki couldve been a white cure too!) another tiny detail i noticed is how the thingy they all have on their left hips has a few different colors, theres pink and purple in opposite sides... a blue and green on opposite sides... the only other colors that appear to be on opposite sides are the white of the top and the light blue of the bottom, meanwhile the yellow heart is the center. so my guess is that the boy's bunny is gonna be a white cure or light blue / cyan (his fur is white, but he has a little bow that appears to be that same light blue... also i think hes male cuz they didnt give him long eyelashes lol) and the boy is gonna be a yellow cure. the girls' civilian forms appear to have a tiny bit of their pet's cure color on them (blue cardigan for civilian lilian, pink bow and shoes for civilian friendi) so maybe the boy's shirt is white enough for it to be the bunny's cure color or smth... anyway those my guesses, as a completely precure-blind person lol~!
nice observations as someone who isn't a precure fan, and yeah im hoping the boy and bunny become cures! yeah, their hearts have individual colors which probably in this case denote their theme color, but lillian's overall design def could've been greener
I really am looking forward to this season. Two main take aways hearing your thoughts though are #1 YESSS I love the idea of having a duo in the form of the new boy ally and his pet, and #2 YESSSS the monster of the week for the first ep reminds me of a TMM monster of the week! Which I am so hopeful is the standard. MOTW in recent seasons being based on objects are fine (especially in DP since it's based on cooking items) but I really got sick of it in Hirogaru Sky. On the note of the mascot for the male ally and this is probably wrong but I can't help but speculate, maybe he or she (IDK about the gender either) is a spy villain type. The eyes and look of the creature are so like annoyed / kinda shifty that I would love it if they are like a spy for the villians. Maybe taking the idea of villians like Eas / Siren and becoming a part of the group and slowly trying to use it to get close and take them down from the inside, or at least to get info. And maybe our male ally will give him / her the love and kindness they need to see their goals as wrong and fight back. I just really want a redemptive cure this year. Last years redemptive characters are fine but also kinda normal adult villains turn reluctant friends. I just want something fresh with the idea. But again I could be wrong and the animal is just more of a low-key and bored typed of animal. VS the fun loving dog, and the lazy cat. As for Lillian, I am still laughing since I have a story with a Cure that's human name is Lillian (Although based on the Lilly flower with Lillian being a more mature name fitting her nature). But I do like this cure the most so far design wise although Friendy is close. I gotta agree with your thoughts on the color and I will say your mint coloring picture does look really nice. Although I am still glad we at least get a new shade and color design if that makes any sense. As for your theory on Males being the green cures saviors of the future I kinda agree. Last three male characters we have had who are villains have green hair. Naristoru, Batamonda, and Daruzen. And on top of that with characters like Kiriya, Namakelder, and Wester's villain form, it's clear they have a thing for guys with green hair. Probably as you said since green is scene as more of a male color and not a girl one. Or maybe based on girls liking the idea of pink, yellow, blue, purple, and red hair much more than green (Cue MLP Green Hair freak out here). Although idk I might be off with that one. Still maybe someday we get a green haired cure although my personal hope for the shade is a Komachi / Cure Mint since Cure March has such a mixed shade for me overall. Like it's not ugly but it isn't as good looking as the others.
Yes hopefully we have a duo with a boy cure included! And yeah the animal monsters seem interesting. Personally I didn't mind the Hirogaru Sky monsters but I found the Delicious Party ones to be very forgettable and generic. That is such a good idea with Daifuku possibly being a villain spy. I love the idea of Satoru helping them to become a kinder and loving being and fully awaken. Similar to Macherie and Amour. Thanks, glad you like my green Lillian edit! Though with the point you brough up about green haired male villains, I'm more inclined to believe that they use it specifically for villains, not so much specifically for males, as no supporting male characters really have had green hair or a green design. There are a lot of green female villains too like Majorina, Bibury, Cook, Ophiuchus Princess, Gelos, and Elda so it's definitely more of a villain thing. Though the fact that both Cure Kagura and Pas De Deux both have green hair in Dancing Star is a very surprising and good choice, and shows that they can get away with green more when there's a different target audience (in Dancing Star's case, older women who probably dgaf about colors and like green too). And lastly I agree, I prefer Cure Mint's shade over Cure March since, while I do love green, Mint has a more tranquil and less strong color scheme while still being super green. A lot of emerald green softer tones.

As for the green hair for female villians as well I feel kinda stupid for forgetting that fact. When I did comment the only female villain I could think of with green hair was Bibury but on rethink yeah kinda forgot a lot of them which sucks but hey memory isn't always the best for me lol.
I thought a more mintier green would look way better and very powerful and pretty on Lillian's design but straight up Neon green on her like cure march I'm sorry I feel would look weird but cure march is still my favorite cure from smile pretty cure
Lillian is a cute design, but she's just not green. Not even close. Milky was a stretch, but I could see it most of the time, but this is just blue. It's a very pretty blue, but it's blue.
I'm going to be honest, I hope they don't do any more male Cure's. I don't hate the idea, but HSP didn't feel like they knew what to do with Tsubasa most of the time, and he kept jumping around too much about what he wanted to do. I'm hoping Satoru gets the Yui treatment and he's just a good supporting character. He helps out but doesn't need to be a Cure to do it. If Satoru becomes a Preure, I'll be fine with it, but I hope he's better than Tsubasa.

Although Lillian is teal, commercialy she green, according to the leak merchandice. So seen that this has happened twice, it seems teal is considered a shade of green.
In the merchandice, Koumugi/Wonder is pink, Iroha/Friendy is purpule, Yuki/Nyammy is blue and Mayu/Lillian is green.

For me it seems like from their perspective cure color are based more on their color is addition to its relation to their teammates' colors, for example Milky would have blue is cosmo wasn't blue (at the time), or prism would have been pink if butterfly wasn't.
Also if Satori and/or daifuku, become cures they kinds of sneakily gave us Pink, Blue, Yellow agains with the Pink Dog Duo, the Blue Cat Duo, and the Yellow Bunny duo
(long comment warning) Honestly I'm loving this season so far, so here are a few of my thoughts:
Individually, I think the designs look amazing! And it doesn't really matter what color Lillian and Nyammy are to say that they're SLAYING their outfits ✨ Wonderful and Friendy are really adorable and their designs complement each other perfectly. I don't think we've had such complementing designs with a duo since Macheire and Amour, so it's nice to see after a while! My problem really only comes with the designs all together. There are just too many cool tones, and not enough warm tones to balance everything out. They could have avoided this by making Lillian more of a warm green or just embracing Nyammy's white hues and making her more cream (although I definitely think the periwinkle suits her more) which gets me speculating that the midseason cure (or cures) will probably be orange or yellow to make the team feel more balanced.
I also hope for Satoru and Daifuku to become the midseason cures, since it just makes sense considering the whole animal and human duo thing we have going on. Although maybe once the season starts there'll be another contender, but for now I definitely want them to be the mid seasons. The discourse over male cures on precure twt right now after this poor guy and his rabbit were literally just existing is kinda ridiculous considering nothing is confirmed. But at the end of the day I'm always down for more male cures, since it'll put more smiles on the faces of little boys watching precure (which is always a win).
The toys this year, I don't know exactly how to describe it, but they look kind of cheap? they opted for stickers for the wonderful pact and friendly tact, and the kiranico trunk is TINY for the price it's being listed at. I probably won't get anything that doesn't pique my interest anyway, but I still would have loved to get them :( They definitely look cute, I just wished they opted for a cleaner look instead of the print. Although they look really adorable in the show, so I think it's not all that bad :D
ah yes, the good ol' fandom discourse over theme colors 😭(kinda off topic but I can't tell whether this is a major accomplishment or a major embarrassment for the most heated arguments in this entire fandom to be about which color a character is, but hey) I usually play it safe and just consider the cures whatever Toei says they are, minus Cure Finale which I consider to be purple along with gold because she has barely any gold in her design. So naturally, I'd say Nyammy and Lillian are blue and green respectively. As someone who's favorite color is also green, I adore every green cure to death (yes even including the controversial ones) and I think I'm honestly just desperate for ANY sort of green cure. Turquoise is a shade of green, so hopefully Toei is taking a step in the right direction to have another fully green cure. I mean if we count unofficial cures, we have quite the lineup with cures like Empress, Oasis, Kagura, The green cure in Wonderful Net, and much more. I see Nyammy as being a Periwinkle/Light blue cure, and she definitely does give me Aqua and Ange vibes for now. Although I can see the argument for blue and white and not green and blue, I think we'll just have to wait and see how they're portrayed in the show before we make any assumptions.
those are my thoughts overall, and despite a few minor criticisms I'm really going into this with an open mind, since I'm sure the creators have put a lot of effort into making this a season with a lot to love! As much as I don't want Hirogaru to end, I also can't wait for all the fun we're gonna be having this year with WanPre ^^

Yep, boy Cures please! And yeah, poor guy. Some ppl really have problems with male cures existing. There's only a few after all. Cure Wing didn't even hog the spotlight in Hirogaru.

That's fair, a lot of people will consider Nyammy and Lillian blue and green respectively and that is fine since I also do consider Finale purple lol. and yeah, exactly, color discourse does get too crazy since it is just a cartoon after all. but of course i do love to take part in it, not gonna lie. and yes, i absolutely love those green cures you mentioned (Empress, Oasis, ESPECIALLY Kagura, and the wonderful net girl). im hoping they at least give Lillian a lot of green backgrounds.

@@ScienceProject99 exactly my thoughts! Male cures done right honestly shouldn't take the spotlight away from their female teammates, but rather highlight how well they can all work together and just give the boys someone they can relate to. Tsubasa was an incredible character imo.
I also didn't expect the toys to be that expensive, but the kiranico trunk is essentially just the heart cure watch but for wonderful precure. At least the Mirror pad has a lot of features but I'm really curious to see how Bandai is going to justify this one...
Tbh I do kind of enjoy partaking in some color discourse as well, after all it's no big deal at the end of the day. I adore the unofficial green cures too and I definitely think they deserve more love! Kagura and Oasis are probably my favorites out of them ^^ I'm also hoping that Lillian gets at least associated with green through stuff like backgrounds. The mint shade they used for her on the website is really pretty, and I'd love to see more of it in the show!
Now that you mentioned the side bow, I love when they balance the side ponytail with a sidebow at the opposing side. Like Cure Berry, Cure Sword, and now Cure Lillian

I think Cure Lillian is a shy...green? 😂 She's almost a light-mint, but yeah, still not that bold bright green. She's very cute though and her redish eyes looks very mischiveous and misterious, wich doesn't really seem like her civillian personality, but maybe her character grows into a more corageous and confident person as a Cure.
If Satoru and his rabbit became cures, it would be the first time we'll get 6 Cures. Usually it's 5 like for Kira kira, Smile, Hugtto or 2 like the Splash star team. I won't say no to another boy cure. Wing was adorable, brave and great in Hirogaru sky. I would be so happy if we get more boy cures 🙂

Lilian/Mayu is my absolute favorite, love her transformation and ive had a history of really liking the blue precures (well some people say she green but i think she blue) so i wasn't to surprised to instantly like her

I'm super exciting for Wonderful Precure this year!
I think Cure Lilian goes the Milky Way, pun definitely intended. Both Wonderful and Star Twinkle had, curiously enough, a teal Cure, which at first seemed more on the cyan side, and a Cat themed Cure with blue-ish accents, that is designated another color( rainbow for Cosmo and white for Nyammi). Now that I think about it, most cat themed Cures actually have a blue Theme.( Cure Macaron was purple, while Gelato, who is lion themed, was blue)
So at this point in time, it is likely, that Lilian will actually be considered to be a teal colored Cure, once Mayu actually becomes able to transform in the show.( which also may cause Milky to be reclassified as a teal cure).
One thing that is curious in this season, is the fact, that both Komugi and Yuki actually have a heart print on the back of their heads, while Daifuku seemingly doesn't.( it is difficult to find images of him - I'm going by the pronouns used in the german subtitles, that show the back of his head. However even more curious is the fact, that all three do share the same overall head shape.( which is also very similar to the fairies from previous seasons, as well as the Kirarin-Animals of this season)
As for the Mid-Season Cure/s, I do find it suspicious, that they would involve Satoru this early this deeply within the task of saving the Niko-Animals and Kirarin-Animals to restore the Niko-Garden. He is actively supporting the Inukais on their task and acts as the ancor of the group in a sense by grounding them, as well as acting as an emotional support for them. That would also be the first time, that a Cure of the same season is heavily implied to have romantic feelings towards another Cure( given that the show is teasing him in that way, I mean blushing at the thought of going on a date with Iroha is getting pretty obvious), should he really become the Mid-Season Cure.
As for Yuki's humanoid form - other than Komugi's human form, she has a different hair color, blonde, as a civillian, while having her natural white hair color as a cure.
I feel like she may know more about the person, that turns the Niko-Animals into Garu-Garu. In addition to that, Yuki gives me a lot of Tsundere-vibes, which is fitting for a cat. -> This also means, she is the most "wild" of the Cures.( as in she actually fights them to protect something - or someone, rather than trying to rescue the Niko-Animal)
As for my favorite Cure this season, I'm still undecided. I kind of like Cure Lilian design wise, but they all look great.

it's possible that toei make lilian a not a true green color cure because how green is such a flop color in japan, toei need to sell merchandise etc so if they make lilian fully green yeah sales wise it's probably not good

I have a feeling Iroha will be the “actual” purple leader and not the pink dog. I mean a lot of people mentioned that Prism is more of a leader than Sky now. Lillian color is not green sadly, but her design make up for it. They got her design properly but needs a little more soft green or light green something

Green is bad for merchandise but personally I call that skill issue. Just make the design actually pretty and green could easily be popular. While I love Mint and March their designs were kinda questionable

Exactly! In the Pretty series, there are a lot of green idols. Plus with Milky, you can argue that her green teal color sells better, but they gave her an obviously better set up with more screentime than Mint and March and a more traditionally pretty hairstyle. It really is a skill issue cause they can just give a green girl better development and hair/design instead of setting her up to fail.

The pretty and cute designs are quite popular with little girls. I think they could try to do something like Felice but maybe use blonde hair with softer mint green color for once. But avoid tree-style hair and make them look either cute, pretty, or something presentable

im not a fan of precure, ive never watched a single season, i just wanted to see these new designs and i noticed smth u dont point out and i think it might be important: the stripes of the bows on their chests have their partner's outfit colors, but the heart is their own color. so for example, the dog cure is a pink cure and while she has some purple elements on her design _like the bow,_ the heart in the center is pink; vice-versa for the purple cure. if the heart's color is their official cure color, then yuki is a blue cure and lilian may be a green cure unless they consider turquoise or teal to be her color. im not even a fan and yet im already bothered by how they couldve made her greener!! (i know precure has a very small selection of green cures. and yuki couldve been a white cure too!)
another tiny detail i noticed is how the thingy they all have on their left hips has a few different colors, theres pink and purple in opposite sides... a blue and green on opposite sides... the only other colors that appear to be on opposite sides are the white of the top and the light blue of the bottom, meanwhile the yellow heart is the center. so my guess is that the boy's bunny is gonna be a white cure or light blue / cyan (his fur is white, but he has a little bow that appears to be that same light blue... also i think hes male cuz they didnt give him long eyelashes lol) and the boy is gonna be a yellow cure. the girls' civilian forms appear to have a tiny bit of their pet's cure color on them (blue cardigan for civilian lilian, pink bow and shoes for civilian friendi) so maybe the boy's shirt is white enough for it to be the bunny's cure color or smth... anyway those my guesses, as a completely precure-blind person lol~!

I really am looking forward to this season. Two main take aways hearing your thoughts though are #1 YESSS I love the idea of having a duo in the form of the new boy ally and his pet, and #2 YESSSS the monster of the week for the first ep reminds me of a TMM monster of the week! Which I am so hopeful is the standard. MOTW in recent seasons being based on objects are fine (especially in DP since it's based on cooking items) but I really got sick of it in Hirogaru Sky.
On the note of the mascot for the male ally and this is probably wrong but I can't help but speculate, maybe he or she (IDK about the gender either) is a spy villain type. The eyes and look of the creature are so like annoyed / kinda shifty that I would love it if they are like a spy for the villians. Maybe taking the idea of villians like Eas / Siren and becoming a part of the group and slowly trying to use it to get close and take them down from the inside, or at least to get info. And maybe our male ally will give him / her the love and kindness they need to see their goals as wrong and fight back. I just really want a redemptive cure this year. Last years redemptive characters are fine but also kinda normal adult villains turn reluctant friends. I just want something fresh with the idea. But again I could be wrong and the animal is just more of a low-key and bored typed of animal. VS the fun loving dog, and the lazy cat.
As for Lillian, I am still laughing since I have a story with a Cure that's human name is Lillian (Although based on the Lilly flower with Lillian being a more mature name fitting her nature). But I do like this cure the most so far design wise although Friendy is close. I gotta agree with your thoughts on the color and I will say your mint coloring picture does look really nice. Although I am still glad we at least get a new shade and color design if that makes any sense. As for your theory on Males being the green cures saviors of the future I kinda agree. Last three male characters we have had who are villains have green hair. Naristoru, Batamonda, and Daruzen. And on top of that with characters like Kiriya, Namakelder, and Wester's villain form, it's clear they have a thing for guys with green hair. Probably as you said since green is scene as more of a male color and not a girl one. Or maybe based on girls liking the idea of pink, yellow, blue, purple, and red hair much more than green (Cue MLP Green Hair freak out here). Although idk I might be off with that one. Still maybe someday we get a green haired cure although my personal hope for the shade is a Komachi / Cure Mint since Cure March has such a mixed shade for me overall. Like it's not ugly but it isn't as good looking as the others.
Yes hopefully we have a duo with a boy cure included! And yeah the animal monsters seem interesting. Personally I didn't mind the Hirogaru Sky monsters but I found the Delicious Party ones to be very forgettable and generic.
That is such a good idea with Daifuku possibly being a villain spy. I love the idea of Satoru helping them to become a kinder and loving being and fully awaken. Similar to Macherie and Amour.

Though with the point you brough up about green haired male villains, I'm more inclined to believe that they use it specifically for villains, not so much specifically for males, as no supporting male characters really have had green hair or a green design. There are a lot of green female villains too like Majorina, Bibury, Cook, Ophiuchus Princess, Gelos, and Elda so it's definitely more of a villain thing. Though the fact that both Cure Kagura and Pas De Deux both have green hair in Dancing Star is a very surprising and good choice, and shows that they can get away with green more when there's a different target audience (in Dancing Star's case, older women who probably dgaf about colors and like green too).
And lastly I agree, I prefer Cure Mint's shade over Cure March since, while I do love green, Mint has a more tranquil and less strong color scheme while still being super green. A lot of emerald green softer tones.

When I did comment the only female villain I could think of with green hair was Bibury but on rethink yeah kinda forgot a lot of them which sucks but hey memory isn't always the best for me lol.
I thought a more mintier green would look way better and very powerful and pretty on Lillian's design but straight up Neon green on her like cure march I'm sorry I feel would look weird but cure march is still my favorite cure from smile pretty cure

I don't hate the idea, but HSP didn't feel like they knew what to do with Tsubasa most of the time, and he kept jumping around too much about what he wanted to do. I'm hoping Satoru gets the Yui treatment and he's just a good supporting character. He helps out but doesn't need to be a Cure to do it. If Satoru becomes a Preure, I'll be fine with it, but I hope he's better than Tsubasa.
