Another thing I have realized is both Mr Khoza and Mr Motaung have runned their race as far as being hands on in running those clubs. They normally focus more on making more money through running the PSL than making their clubs competitive.

Good conversation between guys who have contributed a lot in our football.
Unfortunately we don't have great players in individual perspective anymore currently to can compare them with the past generation. Even at Downs that you see praising if you remove Peter and Themba who else do you have? The focus now is on group achievement.

@@thisisfootball.africa3880 thanks Peter. My question to Pollen is: how were players scouted back then compared to now?

Peter how do I plan for my team to gain promotions from ABC Motsepe to Dstv Premier League? How did Rob plan for Seven Stars to go to NSL

Good show Peter.... The issue of Chiefs and Pirates is also stingy on the side of the owners, Sundowns buys all quality players and they pour money and spend it on investing on quality players, this is not done in Chiefs. Chiefs does not compete for top players they get 2nd grade or whats left after Sundowns has done picking the best

What makes a big club big?

The world wide definition of a big team is one that has a proper long history, a history of winning trophies, having a huge fan base and most of all having a full house watching the team at their own stadium every home game
