Last time I was out there I met somebody who fished there their whole life too. He had some pretty amazing stories. the laws were a lot more loose back then.
If your back fishing a duck creek, I recommend using orange and white power bait combination, the love it. And also you would try fishing right in the middle where the curve of all the rocks.
So I'm using size 14 treble hooks and for bait I use power bait. I have a couple different colors but the natives there told me the salmon egg color one works the best!

Nice man! I have still never caught a trout
They can be tricky to catch. For example I was using braided line my first time I tried and I couldn't catch a single trout because of it.
I was like awww u letting him go....then wait he's bleeding 😭😂
